CSL Behring Donates 500 Million IUs of Therapy to the WFH

[Music] at csl we are driven by our promise to protect the health and well-being of our patients communities and people around the world while we are proud of our heritage of being the first biotherapeutics leader to make a multi-year donation to the world federation of hemophilia we recognize that lack of access to treatment remains a major challenge which is why we are excited to continue our collaboration with wfh to find new and innovative ways to expand access to life-saving therapies and help people living with hemophilia around the world live active and full lives through this latest collaboration with wfh csl will donate 500 million international units of factor 8 coagulation replacement therapy which will exclusively include product manufactured solely for the purposes of being donated over the next five years by manufacturing products specifically for the purpose of being donated the factor eight therapy will have a three-year shelf life with wfh and enable people living with hemophilia in more than 60 countries to access the life-saving therapies that they need in addition to the product donation csl will continue its multi-year commitment to support critical wfh programs that help improve diagnosis and access to care for those living with bleeding disorders in developing countries it provides medical training increase awareness and establish educational initiatives and achieve government support through advocacy as a long-standing partner of wfh we are excited to see how this donation positively addresses the current unmet need in many developing countries and on behalf of csl i thank the wfh team for all the work they continue to champion in support of those living with bleeding disorders [Music] you
