masquerade which I saw I I I love masquerades I think masquerades are so [ __ ] cool they're so fun I love the idea it's such a goofy little Trope so I'm excited for masquerade hopefully it's good and [ __ ] out of here right now I I didn't mean to I'm I'm so sorry oh Char good boy that all was a lot like a lot a lot to take in and to watch and it is um they did a really good job it sounds B to describe it that way they did a good job of portraying essay and going over it and showing just how terrifying it is is to be in that kind of position and it's not an easy topic to show and I think they did a really really good job of showing the severity of it and what it can look like and what a Survivor can um feel or relate and how each experience is very different and how Angel is still living through it right now and Angel kind of copes with jokes and drinking and so seeing this here firsthand is so upsetting and it instantly allows us as a viewer to understand why angel came to the hotel and wanted to get away so badly from Valentino and I I I definitely struggled watching that bit I I'll definitely be honest that was really hard to watch and I just hope that or anybody I hope to anybody who watched that scene and felt or related to that at all it's help cuz it's a really tough situation and sometimes you don't know that you're in that situation until it happens and I hope that everybody can see that and takes that scene very seriously and would never try to joke about it and if you yourself have never experienced it I hope that scene can help you see and understand that situation from a victim's perspective and I hope it can open eyes for individuals cuz it's it's really hard it's really hard and the world can be a really scary place and I I'm sorry it's really hard it's really hard to talk about oh of course this is when my of course I'm almost out of Kleenex this of course it happens at this time when I'm like really emotional [ __ ] me I was very interested in how hasbin was going to eventually deal with this topic because we had the original music video back in the day for Angel does there was a lot of criticism from people um saying that it felt like it was kind of glamorizing essay and kind of pushing it a little bit more and I feel like they did a very good job of portraying the reality of it the severity of it and the overall um walking on eggshells vibe that anything can set them off anything can perer them and that poor angel Angel is still with their abuser and so I I really applaud the team for how they storyboarded this wrote this out and I think they did a really good job with it so sorry I'm going to take a moment [ __ ] that was really hard to [Music] watch oh I got to wipe the tears still [Music] this song is such a bob but the whole everything is making me upset and sad that outfit's very pretty as [Music] [Music] well po [Music] po Fu [ __ ] [ __ ] first off poison so good oh my God what a what a Bop poison is so good I feel like it's another amazing Angel d song huge huge Kudos number two oh the visuals wow while so beautiful are also really sad and honestly difficult to watch cuz like one you know we go back and forth in this like cool like choreograph dance and then we go back to like yeah then they go back to the dance and then like the the shot I liked one of the most was um Valentino comes with the Jumbotron in the back of Angel just still like dancing and like pulls Angel d off and it's like poison like you know the like fake act there really showing just it's all pretend and that angel this is suffering it was a very very well done song and music video and I feel like they really just knocked it out of the park again um all of this is difficult topics but we have such a awesome song to go through it and I feel like this song does a better job of conveying those feelings of like you're feeding me poison I got so good at being like on true like the lyrics are just really good when you start looking at them it's like like start crying all over again like just amazing I need a drink the hardest you can make H you look like [ __ ] thanks not possible just a long shook put not on a show again are we if you got a problem you're not going to find the solution at the bottom of a bottle I should know I've been looking there a long time no sure and where should I so fun also uh their voices together just sound so good and I just I love having a like negative song of sorts you know where it's like you know we're we're losers together so like it's okay like we are both in like a shitty [ __ ] up situation but since we have each other like it's going to be okay and that you know you are doing all these self-destructive behaviors and you know trying to [ __ ] forget all these things but if you just open up and let somebody in you might realize that somebody else has been through the same [ __ ] up thing that you did and made the same [ __ ] mistakes and that you know in a way you're not [ __ ] [ __ ] special and that we can talk to each other and you know confide in one another about these [ __ ] up situations and have somebody to lean on that can understand what you have been through so I really like that and of course learning that hos was an Overlord is really interesting I doubt we're going to learn more about that's probably we're going to get but damn another reminder that like aler is not a good person and like b b bom got to remember that like don't let them fool you that was something I didn't expect to see like I said you don't know me sex ain't the only thing I'm good at good to know cuz this guy ain't half bad right I'm so sorry Angel I promise I won't ever ever ever ever it's fine I get it thanks for caring about me a a I love that I think this is yours okay let see let's get you to bed he he said he for forgave me just going to take my girlfriend to bed now good night everyone how about that drink you read my mind a I like I mean this episode was sad but I like the episode oh this was this was a lot to take in like I had a feeling you know since we knew Angel just background that this is going to happen they were going to have to address this but [ __ ] it it hit me really really hard like really hard and just like trying to talk about it like oh dude like I couldn't even I could not physically even speak and I'm good to start crying again I couldn't even phys physically speak while it was happening like and I think that's where sorry I'm trying not to cry I think that's where you can hopefully if you yourself did not feel anything you can at least see my reaction to it and understand how difficult of a situation it can be because I have seen a lot a lot a lot a lot of individuals who and you know cases come up and people are like why didn't you do something why didn't you say no why didn't you push them away why didn't you fight and even just watching it on the screen I couldn't even say anything I myself was so scared and so Frozen just even watching it even just watching it on the screen it was so triggering for me to consume and see and so if you yourself did not feel any fear or emotion through that scene with angel dust and Valentino I hope that seeing my reaction can show you how somebody can completely lock up in that situation and how it can be a very crippled time for somebody I'm sorry I'm I shouldn't say sorry but you know it's really difficult and everybody is different everybody comes from their own experiences in their life and so that I ask that you give everybody respect and how they process that scene differently and may have had different reactions to it cuz at the end of the day it's it's not okay it's a terrible horrible thing and I it's really hard because in certain movies or you know news um you know social media people can be very cruel and heartless and um some movies themselves do not present have I'm trying to think of I'm sorry my my brain is still lost sexual violence in TVs movies and media can be portrayed there may not even be a warning for them what have you the show does have a warning like just so we're all clear but they they can be out there and it can be a very triggering experience for somebody who may have experienced it or even had a friend who experienced it it can be very traumatizing or a loved one who has experienced it and so I just ask that you guys can see this and have awareness and if you have somebody in your life who has gone through that I ask that you give them patience and love and understanding because everybody processes it their own way and so I just want to give kudos to the teen because I feel like they did a very good job of showing the fear the severity of it and also overall getting that like even if you're trying to come in and help sometimes you are not helping and I think that is so important because there are ways you can help and getting them out of that situation and making sure they are safe is what is so important and so I feel like the show did a good job of conveying those effects and I really appreciated that Charlie after it all happened was like I don't I don't care if Angel doesn't want to come back to the hotel I just need to make sure that angel is safe after you know she left cuz she was afraid and didn't want to hurt um Angel anymore I really appreciated that that was Charlie Focus so she's like I just want I want Angel safe like no matter what it was a great great point to lay down I really appreciated that that was her focus it was no longer about like oh I got to redeem him I got to bring him back ha it was like I just need him safe beautiful moment and I like that we didn't have Charlie be the one going after uh I really really appreciate that I'm Sor sorry I can't like stop crying I like that Charlie was not the one that went after I really like that hosas and we were able to have that like bonding moment with like somebody else who was able to understand and get it and be able to you know empathize sympathize and be able to you know discuss and lean on one another with husk and have a conversation and then of course get the very cute song of like L like so good like such a cute Miss cute really the right word a good song I don't know if cutees the right word but I liked it I liked all like the scenery and The Vibes going on like it was really fun the shot I like the most was the little like raindrops with the umbrella together like it was cute like it really did a good job that scene in particular stressing like the vibe of like it may be raining and the world might be like [ __ ] on us but like we are together here as long as we can lean on each other like the rain won't hit us then you know we are here together and I like that visual whether that was the intended purpose or not I think it was but I liked it a lot uh very very good and I like the fact that like husk is like a really good barart Pender you know like I'm not really one who goes out to bars shocker to some not really my thing but like you know some people do drink away their lives and you know tell their woes to bartenders and for some you know that's therapy and you know odd therapy but for something it does work so I like that angel is able to have that connection and husk importantly called out angel on his [ __ ] he's like I've heard you complain like you have told me like don't like I don't think so so I I enjoyed that fact I'm curious how things will go moving forward though cuz obviously like Angel wants to get out of this contract but I don't think we have any idea how to get Angel out my only thought is that angel would probably have to make a deal with somebody else slash kill Valentino but making a deal with someone else does not sound like a good idea and killing Valentino seems sketchy but Alister does have probably reason to get rid of Vox so maybe we take out 2third of the v's leave velvet cuz I love that [ __ ] until something happens that makes me hate her love that [ __ ] oh but God damn this episode was rough dog really really rough off um and I mean that I was going to say in the best way but maybe I don't mean it in the best way it was it was a tough watch it was a very tough watch but I'm glad that we have gotten through it and knowing at least that there probably won't be another episode that this is so emotionally traing for me ah cuz like the only other idea would be like maybe Lucifer is like really like abusive or a bad father well like it's Jeremy Jordan how bad could he be that's amaz being gra at least oh my God so yes I I um [ __ ] you know this was this was a good time no it was not a good time I don't know why I'm [ __ ] lying I'm really glad I got to watch the this with all of you I'm glad that this gave us a space to talk and to have this discussion um and that hopefully for some people seeing this it may have been eye openening in one way or another and that if you know anybody who seems to be in a situation like this that you seek out help for them counseling and can provide that safe place for them to open up and be that friend that husk was able to be I think that's probably our most important take away is be that safe place for somebody so yeah I to go cry some more so thanks thanks for watching Everybody if if you if you like
