hello everyone welcome to another episode of maya tutorial in this tutorial i am going to show you how to create a waterfall in autodesk maya 2020 so let's get started change modeling menu to fx menu go to n particle create option select water again go to in particle create emitter just click here open attribute return emitter type select volume red particle per second make it 500 now move the emitter slightly up just here scale it click play and see the effect see now go to fluid click 3d container move the container slightly up ctrl g to undo sorry select the container move it up select the fluid emitter press delete i will create another emitter now select the fluid container move it down escalate move it down now first select the emitter fluid emitter shift select the sorry first select the fluid shift select the emitter sorry first select the fluid shift select the emitter go to n particle or sorry fluid add or edit content emit from object select the fluid shift select the n particle fluid add content edit from object now go to frame 1 click play and see the effect see now select the fluid auto resize click auto resize fluid emitter sends the density to point four fluid drop of make it 0.4 or point height go to frame 1 decrease the frame to 90 click play and see the effect now hide all press s take a polygon plane increase white and height as shown increase subdivision wide and height now go to vertex selection mode press b on your keyboard to turn on soft selection mode hold the b and right click and drag this will increase and decrease the circle size select these vertices vertex move them up select this vertex this vertex and also these vertex move them up select this vertex sorry move down now press b decrease the soft selection circle size move them up select this vertex select this move them up now go to object mode edit delete by type delete history unhide the particle fluid emitter select the fluid container go to frame one sorry first select the emitter move the emitter just here select the fluid container click play and see the effect now select the n particle go to attribute editor in particle size decrease the size to 0.05 press enter again go to frame 1 increase the red particle per second to 2000 click play and see the effect sorry first select the polygon plane go to enclose click create passive collider go to frame 1 click play now see see select the polygon plane right click assign new material select lambda click on this lambert color seeker box i download this texture file click on these colors textured icon type here 20 repeat u and repeat v20 type 6 go to frame 1 click play and see the effect this is how you can create waterfall in autodesk my 2020. thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe my channel
