let's start with the terrain I used aent landscape make sure it's activated in preferences addons search landscape and check the box now with shift a mesh landscape and we can find many presets here and we can change the resolution mesh size the noise type and see to randomize the terrain as always I recommend to play around with the settings and have fun creating the terrain so for this I added leges this will create the terrain and also a plane for the water in sculp mode we can modify it change the brush size by pressing F select a different brush and by holding control we can substract now let's see how to texture the ground in this window I'm going to open the Shader editor create the material and we need the nor rangler Alon here make sure it's activated in addons not Wrangler now select the Shader and press control shift T and here select the grass textures and select alido or color normal and roughness we can see the textures because we don't have UBS so in edit mode I press a to select all the faces then press U and Cube projection I want to set specular to 01 now in mapping increase the scale to repeat the texture now I want to mix the grass with the ground texture so duplicate the Shader with shift d now shift a and add a mix Shader connect the second Shader and again control shift T but this time select the ground textures and also repeat the texture now with shift a search for texture coordinate also separate X Y and Z connect normal to vector and connect C to factor now add a color ramp with this we are creating a mask based on the C value but I'm going to invert the colors because I want the grass on top from here I added some rocks just cover the part of the render I bought these rocks on our station but you can find something on sketch fa now for the 3D grass I used some models from my natural set uh you can find that for free on my G bro all the links will be in video description to scar the grass I will use bapy Adon it's a free addon just download and install it in preferences addons um select the grass and hold shift select the surface press J and we have two options uh scatter that will scatter the grass all over the place or scatter paint with this we can choose the area adjust the weight and change the size of the Rush by pressing F in the vaby settings we can adjust the minimum distance the density click here to exit painting mode also set the minimum and maximum scale and we can also randomize the rotation for rendering I'm going to use Cycles with U for the lighting here in word properties click on color sky texture and play with the sun elevation if you want day or night also the sun rotation and increase the sun size for soft Shadows I also added some flowers it's the same process just select them and press J okay so now let's create the camera with shift a camera and click here to go into camera view and to move in this view in view activate camera to view if you can see this panel just press in now to add the sky go to file import images aslains if you can find it you need to activate it in preferences add-ons now just select your image you can use use an image and here in the Shader connect color to em Mission and we can adjust the strength this will prevent the plane to receive Shadows and to prevent the plane to cast Shadows go here in object properties and their visibility inray visibility and Shake Shadow uh we we can also add a constraint copy rotation in Target select your camera this will make the plane to follow the rotation of the camera and this way looks better to me and now just move the plane by pressing G now let's see how to make the water Shader create the material and first we need a dark color I'm going to use between green and blue specular to one and we can set roughness to zero or a very low value uh like 01 also I'm going to increase metallic to4 or so and now add the noise texture connect to normal and also add a bump but connect noise texture to height now increase the scale and the values that I use are 10 for scale and 10 for detail also increase roughness just a little bit and now lower the strength also I'm going to add some props and they are free on Myro uh this is just to feel the scene um I wanted more shadows in the scene so I added a plane with a noise texture and a color ramp connect to Alpha and use the color ramp to make those transparent areas you can increase the scale and for detail all the way up and also increase uh roughness also I added a mountain to use it as background I have made a video where I explain how to create it if you're interested you can find it on this channel I just duplicate and rotate to make it look different now let's add the atmosphere to do this create a cube scale it up to cover all the scene and now create the [Music] material then add the volume scatter and connect to volume I'm going to set density to 01 also increase an isotropy to 85 and I want a bluish color in render properties here in color Management in look I used medium high contrast but you can use uh whatever you like and for rendering in samples I used a00 and also activate the noise Optics then press F12 to render the scene
