- [Narrator] After a long tiring week, sometimes riding a boat
and being mesmerized by the calming waves can get
your mind off all the stress. But if you rode one of
these unusual vessels, you'll be in for an
outrageously unique experience. Don't believe me? Well keep watching to see the top 20 craziest boats you have to see to believe. (upbeat music) Number 20 The Hamster Wheel Boat. Rowing a boat just tones your biceps, but with the hamster wheel boat, you'll be able to work out your legs and push your endurance to the limits. It's name, the Tredalo,
explains exactly what it is. A life-size human hamster
wheel where you need to walk or run in order for it to
move forward, like a Pedalo. This contraption was
created by Chris Todd, and features a circular wire mesh, where you walk with two
floats on either side that stabilize this weird sea vessel. That's leisure and
workout rolled into one. Number 19 The Guitar Boat. If you've heard about the
Aussie singer-songwriter Josh Pyke then you've
surely seen him riding a peculiar looking boat in his
music video Make You Happy. You'll see that he's cruising on a huge motor-powered vessel shaped like an acoustic guitar as he waves
to his adoring audiences. He even brings out a large guitar pick, as if to strum the strings. Well it doesn't actually
play chords when you try to, it sure created a musical
impact on the serene waters. Number 18 The wFOIL ALBATROSS. Don't you just wish you could fly and sail over the water at the same time? With the wFoil ALBATROSS, now you can. Created by Slavonian pilot
and engineer Tomaz Zore. This boat-glider hybrid can
reach speeds up to 60 mph. All thanks to it's design
that lifts it off the water. Instead of using an underwater propeller, it's pulled by an aeroplane
rotor, allowing it to hover. That gives you a feeling of flying without needing a pilot's license. You can have one, if you have
a cool $282,000 to spend. Number 17 NautiLimo. A limousine exudes
extravagance and elitism. So if I told you that you
could ride a limousine on Florida Bay's waters,
would you believe me? Well you should. Everyone feast
your eyes on the NautiLimo. This eye-catching pink boat
masquerades as a limousine, or is it the other way around? Either way, it could turn any special day into memorable experience as you turn heads atop this exquisite ride. You'll have to pay $60 for
an hour with two people, plus $10 for every additional passenger. All in all, it can carry
six people at once. Number 16 Wooden Ferrari Boat. If Ferrari is considered
royalty on the road, is it welcome on the seas? Apparently, yes. This wooden boat created
by Livio De March in 2001, is a replica of a Ferrari F50
made completely out of pine. Well it looks like a car, it
rides like a proper sea vessel. It may not be as fast as the real thing, but it's sheer elegance
on waters jaw-dropping. It's been owned by Ripley's
Believe It or Not! since 2009, and graced the bays of San Diego once more last September 2014. Number 15 The Cosmic Muffin. Ft. Lauderdale realtor and
pilot, Kenneth W. London, had grand plans for a downed Boeing B307. Like transforming it into a unique boat. Now dubbed the Cosmic
Muffin it's the perfect example of how trash
could become useful again. London overhauled the
interior, restored the cockpit, and made it buoyant so
it could sail the waters. It took four years for the
transformation to be complete, and it was time well
spent as it was featured both on CNN and Ripley's
Believe It or Not!. Number 14 Hot Tug Hot Tub Boat. This boat is perfect if
your feeling conflicted between venturing the open waters, and taking a dip in a hot tub. The Hot Tug Hot Tub Boat conveniently combines both leisurely activities. It is a wood-fired hot tub
and boat rolled in one. This vessel can contain
as much as 1800 liters of bath water heated
to 38 degrees Celsius. You won't even be plagued
with jarring noises, as it used a quiet electric
motor propels it forward. It can fit around six to eight people, so it will always be fun to ride in. Number 13 The Floating Man Chair. Some of the craziest boats out there are simple but astounding
at the same time. Take this Floating Man
Chair as an example. All that's required to create
this creative watercraft is a metal construction
with four feet tied to four air-tight barrels
allowing it to float. But the most impressive
part is that it has a television comfortably
positioned to the riders delight. Carefree cruise on the lake, lounging on a chair while watching TV. Sounds like a great combination. Number 12 The TU-FiN Elliptical Boat. Elliptical machines in
the gym can get boring, because no matter how you
move, your not going anywhere. But with the TU_FiN
elliptical boat now you can. Just work out an elliptical
machine on top of a boat. That's exactly how the Tu_FiN works. The number of reps you do on the machine is what propels the boat forward. This way your getting good exercise while admiring the scenery. Number 11 The Quadrofoil. Electrifying cars is becoming
the trend for land transport, so it's only proper for
boats to follow suit. That's what the Quadrofoil
is doing and so much more. This electric watercraft is emission-free, and the hydrofoil
technology allows it's body to lift off with just it's wings touching the water once
it reaches six knots. If that's not enough to make you go wow, it features state-of-the-art
touchscreen steering. It's dashboard also displays the crafts battery power and speed. Making it a sophisticated boat. Number 10 Earthrace Biodiesel Powerboat. This stylish looking
watercraft, from Earthrace, is taking on two challenges. First is breaking the world record for circling the globe with a powerboat. Second is by doing it
using only biodiesel. Looking at the Earthrace
Biodiesel Powerboat, it's not impossible to imagine
it achieving those feats. From a fuel efficient hull design, a fuel capacity of 2,500 gallons, to having a 45 knot speed over water. It is equipped to produce
excellent results. It even has a wave piercer at the tip, allowing it to go through rough seas, instead of riding ocean swells. Cutting travel time further. Number nine The PlanetSolar Boat. Renewable energy is in high demand today, and PlanetSolar is taking on that task in a huge way with it's watercraft. It has built the largest
solar-powered boat that could travel the world with average speeds of eight knots. This impressive sea
vessel is 31 meters long, 15 meters wide, and 7.5 meters high. So just imagine how colossal it is. It boasts a massive
photovoltaic solar panel array covering 500 meters squared. Taking in the renewable
energy needed to make its ambitious and historic trips. Number eight The Jet Capsule. Imagine a yacht made even smaller, but with almost the
same amenities and more, and this is what you get. The Jet Capsule. This futuristic water taxi-esque boat has some facilities to drool over. A roof-top sundeck, air
conditioning and heater, luxurious seats and tables, and more. All those have been carefully designed into this tiny but impressive watercraft. It also carries a hefty
price tag to match. Which amounts to $150,000. Number seven The Ego
Compact Semi Submarine. If you want to explore the deep blue sea without any extensive training
or getting yourself wet, then the Ego Compact Semi Submarine is the perfect way to go. Basically a part of the boat, particularly where the passenger is, is submerged into the water, while the top part remains afloat. Think of it like snorkeling,
only your in a watercraft. While you won't get as
deep as a submarine, the clear glass allows you to observe the underwater in a comfortable place. Number six The Proteus Catamaran. Most boats force water
to conform to their hull, but the Proteus Catamaran
does the exact opposite. It adjusts itself to the sea. Currently at it's prototype phase, it's a 100 ft watercraft that can reach speeds of up to 70 mph. This can be attributed to it's
two 355 hp diesel engines, as well as it's light
but durable materials. There's a lot of excitement
surrounding its development. As it can be used
potentially for recreation, research, and military purposes. Number five The Zipper Boat . Have you ever heard of the expression, zipping through the water? Japan's Zipper Boat makes it literal. Like the term implies this funny-looking boat unzips the waters with
speeds of up to 175 knots. While it looks comical it's, actually a maritime self-defense boat. The zipper slams down on anyone trying to board it without permission, and the fact it appears gimmicky, gives it the perfect disguise. What's even cooler is it's
piloted by female robot sailors. Number four The Exbury Egg. If you dreamt about living on water, then the Exbury Egg is what ya need. Considered energy-efficient
and self-sustaining, it's the perfect blend of
aesthetics and function. It's uses solar power for
electricity and has a hole on top, allowing natural light to
come in during the day. Sophisticated architecture was
made to create the egg shape while making it buoyant at the same time. It has necessary amenities
for it to be inhabitable, such as a toilet and
even a relaxing hammock. Number three Tractor Boat. Tractors are know to plow the land, but can they do it on water? The amphibious tractor made by the Greek company Paouris can. That sounds almost impossible, given the weight of a tractor, right? Well the trick is in it's wheels, each one is made of
large, air-tight barrels that allows it to float
once it reaches the water. Once on the open seas it can reach speeds of 8 to 10 mph thanks
to its boat propeller. Number two Himiko Water Bus. They say Japan is the
country of the future. Don't believe me? Take a ride on the
amazing Himiko Water Bus. This luxurious 90-passenger capacity boat looks like a spacecraft, so you could imagine that
once you get on board, you'll be traveling
towards another galaxy. What it does, however, is give you a tour of the Sumida River with amenities that are ahead of our time. From the interior design
to built-in cafes, it gives you an experience like no other. You can cosplay and you'll fit right in. Number one The Ever Sinking Boat. The craziest boat in this list could easily make you panic
by the mere sight of it. That's because it looks like it's sinking. Properly known as the Ever Sinking Boat, it may appear like a disaster, but it's actually a clever piece of art. The part of the boat that
you see is pretty much it, in a manner of speaking,
it is really built at a 45 degree angle to create
the illusion of sinking. It was created by the French
artist Julien Berthier and it was sold to a London banker for a blinding price of 50,000 pounds. I imagine him pulling tricks on all his friends with his unique boat. And those are our top 20 craziest boats. Which one did you like the most? Let me know in the comments down below. And thanks for watching. (upbeat music)
