CRAZIEST Ice Fishing Day of my Life!!! (SIGHT-FISHING Through the Ice)

today maybe my most difficult ice fishing endeavor yet I'm at a lake that I've never stepped foot on before know nothing about all I know is that it looks pretty frozen which is good and we're gonna see if I can catch any fish out of it man this is some good-looking iced right here look at that nice and thick and clear beautiful all right this is a pretty big lake where should I get started you know let's just drill a hole right in the middle and uh we'll go from there let's see how thick this ice really is appears to be about six inches thick at least it's good ice no question about it here we go how thick is this ice ooh that wasn't too bad it's actually uh not quite as thick as I thought they'd see what we've got to work with today ah all right that looks not too bad actually that could be something right here it's pretty shallow though looks like it only goes to about eight feet let me go ahead and scope around a little bit looks to be a pretty uneven bottom right here that's pretty interesting it comes up shallow deep nothing over oh here we go pointing towards the middle now it looks like we're dropping down to 18 feet well we saw a couple marks maybe just 20 feet over towards the right of where I am that's we're gonna start fishing 16 17 18 19 20 should be right about here I'm a little off-center all right here here's where I Mark something not too far away but oh it's nice cracking a lot whew that's pretty easy oh we're in we are in guys double-checking my work there's my hole and I'm literally right on top of those fish right there so I should be right in the money zone all right with my rod too much ice fishin joke in here come on don't get tangled on me now all right there we go now I need to plus the maxi's without getting hope perfect where you got my jigs here they are all right we've got some clear water we've got good visibility sunlight so we're gonna need a natural colored g'head maybe just pure white let's try this guy a nice white color keep it nice and natural today let's see if we can get fish number one right off the bat whoo fish down there oh here we go yes we got one coming up he doesn't seem too interested yet let me drop the beat down lower it down just a tad bit oh he's going off to the side damn you know what there's clearly some activity here someone put them down for one second we're gonna set up one tip up literally five feet off right with that mark went down we're gonna put a minnow right in his face it's got some nice medium-sized minnow not too big not too small there's trying to get a feel for the fish in here this guy should you just fine we're gonna hook him behind the dorsal fin just like that you lie buddy oh yeah he's moving his tail too actually been nibble on him said I don't know if the other fish would been bullying him or something but this guy appears to have had a tough life don't worry buddy it all and very soon I mean very soon drop you right to the bottom are you moving in there yeah he's not looking too good to be honest no this guy's looking bad you know what your life is getting a little sooner than I thought buddy you know actually it what would you if you can survive I'll let you live let's see yeah he's struggling you're gonna be an easy meal for something down there all right we need a new minnow oh here we go that's the one right here look this guy his guys guys popping off all right that's exactly what we need he's hooked let's see how this guy moves in the water this guy's popping off look at that guy oh he definitely got eaten no question about it this guy's gonna be the first one to get eaten all right get down there get in that hole nice and deep all the way to the bottom that's right with that fish was hanging out we hit the bottom now I'm gonna reel up a little bit about that much should be good it's Flag on boom we good to go nothing it's pretty strange I mean there's a couple of fishes hanging out right over to the left they're just chillin they're not interested in my bass at all hey know what nobody fish let's keep exploring you live around here alright the people ice fish out here a lot yeah what's up man a yawn killa ice fishin never been here before do you fish yeah yeah ice fishing gear I don't go bars you boys you wanna borrow my gear sure all right let's head out there dude have you ever been ice fishing before we're gonna get you here first ice fish hopefully if your information is correct we shouldn't have any problem catching these fish you're gonna be hired in those sneakers haha let's see what we've got a good thing we ran into Jake he had some pretty damn good information so that's the dam right there here's the point you talked about and all around here is a shallow flat so these trout should move away from the shallows and make their way towards the deep water towards the dam eventually I'm thinking that there should be quite oh dang I can actually see a ton of grass through this I just peed right here that's actually good luck for ice fishing hound if you guys knew that but we're gonna drill a hole right on my pee and uh see what we've got into there oh that is some pretty water right here Wow look at that guys I don't know if you can see it but you can actually see the vegetation through the glass through the ice incredible that's the vegetation is actually looking pretty healthy nice and green it's too freakin shallow out here alright let's move a little off this point so right now Jake's gonna go pick a spot where he believes there's a deep hole and I'm gonna go explore around my area wouldn't try to cut down the time on finding these fish all right what do we got here can I see the bottom oh it looks deeper it looks a little bit deeper you might be on something here dude holy crap you got one wait you have a fish tank dude oh yeah dude you had him was it big I don't know but I saw I saw the flashing yeah so I put it back go go back down that's exactly what you want to see that's pretty good yep yeah exactly that's exactly what you're looking for damn that fish is moving to see where he goes that's a big fish right here oh yeah I marked one I'm actually watching a move on the sonar I know you guys can see that oh I lost him hold on let me try to find him again oh there he is he's coming towards me that's a big-ass fish I don't know if you guys can see that but that guy's that guy's booking it he's still coming towards me he's coming directly at me let me get my rod it's coming in hot hahaha oh let's see you again he's swimming right he came out right up to my bait here we go here's my first fish coming in finally come on eat it eat it man got him I got him there we go all right fish number one looks like a good fish well that's a big bluegill you check this guy out finally dude finally man what time is it twelve twelve I got here at nine o'clock it took me three hours to get my first bluegill we caught that fish in let's see 14 feet of water alright buddy thank you for being fish number one hopefully number one of many look at that beautiful ice oh snap Jake guys first fish eight times oh dude bro was that a bass that would've been dude I just took another sub fishing and his first fish ever was a bass - so what happened was you were pulling him up and you could get you see how he's to the side in that hole so you got to wait until he kind of gets nose up then you can pull him out of the hole and you want to actually put your hand down and grab him because of you pulling out of the water then he'll try get off his small hook that'd unlucky yeah that would've been sick I thought that wasn't bad I there's like a tendon sure yeah oh okay okay okay dude you read that thing in fast with a little pumpkin seed all right hey that's not as cool as your first catch Tech was enlarged you but that's a pretty fish first fish through the ice man show us the colors yeah you got show off your fish it's a bluegill but still look at that pretty fish all right good stuff man jigs first fish ever through the ice all there he goes nice shot yeah we shouldn't stand too close together so let's back up little how do you like ice fishing Oh Dawson what do you think about it how does it compare to you know conventional fishing um takes a little bit more concentration but once you get the hang of it it's pretty fun all right good stuff frickin ice guys I just switched my bait out oh oh I'll show you what I was doing I finally figured these damn trout out beautiful trout first-ever freakin trout through the ice and you want this drought yeah oh whoa going back in the hole here finally first tried I've ever caught through the ice it's really cool thank you you're welcome I was using uh the spoon I've been fishing for four hours using different baits I just tied this on and then he just bit it right away it's a little spoon I hate to tell you but I got something really silver similar and silver do you bait anything on wax worm yeah I put a Waxman on tip of it and literally I just dropped it down first time I used it today and got a bite right away yeah he was on he was on the bottom I saw him come up he came up off the bottom to hit my bait so yeah he was just hugging the bottom and when he saw that thing flash and he just came up and nailed it so there you go guys this is the bait that did it first time I tried it today the Swedish pimple so I think we just figured something out and see if I can get trout number two oh you got a fish over you all right I see what we got all my tip of what just went off I got I got everything going man all right it was it was a bite is a nibble probably a little crappie or something oh yeah go ahead yeah 35 4 sound listening though I'm focused Oh hold on dude hold on I got one all right fish nah it's a good fish all right hopefully uh yeah yeah oh we're gonna hold our top-secret plans for one second I got a good fish on yeah just yeah just gonna stand the photo we're good I'm gonna have it in exactly two seconds it's pulling some drag you got to get out there I got a rainbow we got a rainbow here you go guys dude you good luck I haven't caught a fish in like three hours hell yeah man this is another rainbow my third fish of the day I've been a struggle out here but at least we're catching a couple fish all right on the Swedish pimple let's let him go i'ma keep fishing and uh keep multitasking here phone calls finally over I got my third fish the day but fishing right near the dam so I got a lot of water I can cover right here you know what we got a couple hours left of daylight let's try to catch a few more fish because this might be this literally might be my last day I'm able to ice fish Oh oh shoot oh my god it's big fish I can see right under the ice and crap guys I thought was about to leave it's not over yet though waxy waxy and you're wack forever wait what dude oh here's what just a big fish that's a big fish - hanging out all day they've been on the bottom right before it gets dark the hair right near the top right now watch this guy's dude it got it oh my god that's insane that's freaky oh my god dude it's a big trout oh good I'm so freakin bad ice fishing oh you look at this guy's the house freakin nuts that this is absolutely dude please don't get off please don't get off dude right before was about to leave oh my god guys this is a personal best trout Dooly yes let's freakin go holy crap dude that was incredible I literally was not getting any bites I put the jig two feet two freakin feet below the ice just right below the ice I can actually see the jig I still had child come up and just absolutely destroy that little oh my gosh I'm thinking at home with me Olivia you're coming he's a sharp teeth dude guys time is 4:43 I've been out here since 9:00 a.m. this is my fourth fish of the day minnows nothing tip-ups nothing wax worms Swedish pimples that was the only thing that we produced fish for me a beautiful char right here absolutely beautiful did I freaking love ice fishing can we do that again guys can we do it again I'm not even using electronics I'm literally just gonna drop the bait through the hole I'm gonna watch it here we go just gonna drop it two feet down in the hole get in that hole dude three feet in the hole I'm literally watching my bait you guys see that watch this guy's Oh with the trout trout on it I got him oh my god I missed him I missed him do did you guys see that does he the heat on heat back on it I got him dude freaking trout look at that oh you guys seen that I just dropped it right down in that hole right when the parks about the clothes freakin great just freaking great guys a little smaller buddy okay you get to live another day oh I just kidding I just dropped you you and you're not gonna live all right you're going in the do this guy's a little deforms look this guy little chode all right you're going back in the bucket now let's get another one guys I'm gonna get another one all freakin day I've been waiting for this moment okay here we go round number three let's go drop it down three feet just right in that hole I'm literally I'm looking at the bait right now watch this guys ready you watching it shake it shake it nice and easy water up I got one dude another holder comes the picture out oh my freaking gosh dude oh my god come here come on cover eight hours of fishing didn't catch a jack crap now I'm just literally dropping a bait two feet from the hole I'm slaying did fishing is just ice fishing his nuts that's all I can say [Music]
