Today we at the Wagah Border ceremony on the border of Pakistan and India. You won't believe how much fun we had! It is awesome! I didn't expect anything like this. The countries certainly put on a great display and we can't wait to share it with you. We had just arrived at the Wagah Border between India and Pakistan but before we go in and see the ceremony we're going to buy some merchandise. We're going to get a flag and two caps for myself and my mom. Go India! We're ready to go! We are currently heading to the stadium where the border ceremony is held and the stadium actually holds 25,000 people. We didn't even know this was such a big scale thing but I'm excited to see all the excitement and I'm just generally curious to see what's going to happen. From this point there's only 22 km to Lahore in Pakistan. See the fence line behind us that marks the end of India. So there's a no man's land area behind that for 200m until you get to the Pakistani border. My dad is very enthusiastic about planes. Yes I have been a plane spotter ever since I was around 10 years old. So behind us you can see a Beachcraft King Air 200 from the Indian Border Forces. So right behind that fence over there is Pakistan. Right behind me you can see the Pakistani border. We are so excited to be here right now. Everybody's making their way into the stadium. This has been on our bucket list for so long. So they've been actually having this ceremony since 1993. It started off with only 300 seats. Now they can cater for up to 25,000. Absolutely crazy and really excited for the festivities to start. People are running backwards and forwards with an Indian flag. It looks a little bit like a relay race at the moment but the audience is getting super excited. The music is so loud. It's really cool to see they're playing really loud music and people are dancing down in the middle section there. So Ella and Kylie are down there dancing with everyone at the moment. It's almost like an outdoor nightclub here at the border crossing. It's quite an atmosphere. I didn't expect anything like this. At the moment that look a lot more serious over on the Pakistani side. So I think it's good we picked the Indian side. There's definitely a lively atmosphere here It's rocking! Oh my gosh this is so crazy! I can't believe we're partying at the Wagah Border! So cool! It really is! It is such a vibe. I can't wait to see what's going to happen next. They're currently playing Jai Ho from Slumdog Millionaire. They're playing all the dance songs. It is awesome! Oh my gosh, that was so fun! We did not expect to dance at the border ceremony today. So while everyone was dancing on the street and the whole street turned into an outdoor nightclub. I looked over at the Pakistani side and no one was dancing. Everyone was just sitting formally. So I guess so far I can probably conclude that India has the more fun side of the border ceremony. So one point so far for India. We're going to be keeping score today. So far India's in front. On the Pakistani side there is the one leged man dancing like crazy holding a massive Pakistani flag. Very interesting. Here on the Indian side they are currently doing like an army march to a Bollywood pop song. It's very cool. It's very cool. I'm very impressed. What an atmosphere here at the stadium. It's awesome. It's such a vibe. Everyone is dancing and jigging along to the music. It's really cool. There's an army guy entertaining everyone down there and he is such a character. Look what he's doing. This guy is hilarious! There's an army guy really getting the crowd excited. Almost putting on his own little show. You can see the Indian soldiers doing high knees to warm up their legs. Getting ready for some really high kicks. The Wagah Border ceremony is not just a military display full of festivities and fun. It's a symbol of the continuing spirit of unity and friendship that goes beyond the political boundaries between India and Pakistan. They have opened up the border gate and there is currently a dance fight going on. It is basically a competition between the two countries India Pakistan about who can be the loudest, who has the most energy, who has the best dance skills and who can kick the highest. It's all very interesting and I've never seen anything like this before. So extra points to India because I think they're doing pretty well at all of this. So this got to be the most random yet entertaining thing I've ever seen. It was so fun to watch. It was awesome! So much fun. So I'd like to give a point to Pakistan for looking the most fierce and having the most fierce outfits and expressions while changing the guards. But at the end of the day India had the most fun and I think India has more points. Yeah they definitely danced the best, had the most enthusiasm and kicked their legs up the highest. So, India wins today. We hope you enjoyed this video. Don't forget to like and subscribe to see more of our adventures. See you next time on Living the Jo Life! Interesting.
