Crashpad Single Swag - Whats Different in 2020

guys there you go um i thought i'd do a little video i picked up a another swag of all things and uh this time i thought i'd give the crash pad a bit of a go now um there's something new i've unboxed the video a little bit just to have a quick look see but it looks like crashpad has made a couple of changes in there as you know i've had a couple recently i've had the uh darch which i've offloaded um i still have 23-0 the the double uh in the jewel in the 1400 and i actually ended up getting a three-hoop one uh the 23-0 bandit as well so i thought i just might do just a little thing on the crash pad as far as just initial thoughts and things like that and see what's in the box cheers so um this is what turned up the other day just plain box nothing special and we just get her out in the sun roll it out let's end up getting the um outback which a is of the um brown in color which i quite like the old crash pad logo on there just seems um quite good quality it's all nice and thick all pretty well put together and things like that um difference with a lot of these i suppose that crash bed does is the um what's the name a pvc only comes up on the bottom there doesn't actually come up on the edge but um all the zips are really good like i said it's all really good quality everything else i'll get the mattress out later on let's see look at that and then also in the bag get the pole back get the pegs and you get a bag as well i say the bags really good nice and thick good zippers a bit of marking material sort of the old how-to guide a couple of stickers and things like that um pegs themselves i mean just in comparison to the other ones gotta say there's nothing flash they're quite thin um they're not real thick ones but for what they are they're okay like i said i've got a whole heap of these um also they're super peg ones so i'll probably just change them around for that [Music] here i think what i can see crash pad doing now is i've actually this used to be they're the crab core ones but it was a um it was just a one-piece design whereas now they've gone to something about the 23-0 and then what's the name used away is a um extendable locking clip it's still sort of two pieces and you see there and that sort of folds up a couple of dinks on there um but yeah it's uh adjustable down adjustable bar so i might um put everything together like i said that's the the biggest difference i can see them these um they seem to be pretty well similar what you get most swags i think they're about nine and a half mil or something like that anodized aluminium but yeah i thought that was quite interesting um instead of i think from the videos i was saying they used to have a one piece design and just with the crab claws and one go into the other well that was too much pressure on the other ones but looks like they've decided to go with the fully adjustable feels pretty good it's locking in quite well and i said it's a um two-piece system everything else it puts together so it fits nicely in the bag i say the bags are pretty good as well i suppose puts everything in there protects it don't really know what this black crap is in there but um it's what i might do i might just sort of unravel it all and put it all together and just give you a bit of look-see i mean it's nice and warm today so i might put the mattress out in the sun and that will [Applause] [Applause] so that's it all set up i said i'm gonna look inside i've zipped up the other side but all the zips they're all nice and easy all good putting in there um pockets just on sort of one side an internal zip here once you go all the way down fixed mesh other side pretty well the same um no pockets on this side the same sort of thing internal flap you can sort of get rolled up but um that's it looks good the overlay here is quite good up there also um got velcro up here just sort of keep it in place keep it all nice and waterproof um buckles sign in through there um plastic buckles you can put out the way it's got um more canvas tie downs if you want same sort of thing this end it's all sewn into place plastic buckles plastic clips rope at the end of it well yeah i'm going to give it obviously a water down yeah that's the um i said that's the internal clip two clips on the side there a nice i suppose a little overlay keep everything tidy get rain off it c-clips on the end and as you can see from there they're not tight tight they just hook in between those top two but uh yeah there you go i'll get the hose out now and i'll give it a i went down a couple times let it dry nicely in the sun and i might put the um mattress in all right so i just turned it around a bit and a couple um there's a video sort of a saw had a couple concerns about whether the sides are coming in too much but um oh you can see but it's no the sun coming up it's actually uh pretty good the sides don't sort of drop in my head's got plenty of room up on this side the feet end not even touching i know one guy i did see there that um his feet was right on touching the end but um initial thoughts i think it's pretty good the mattress feels um quite nice and firm as well it's only been a little time but i said on initial thoughts pretty happy i think it's um a very very good product at the moment we'll let you know once we've used it a little bit all right what i'm gonna do is try out new swag onto the stretcher this is else tent rs1 king single and um i had this for a little while and the good thing it was with their swag it had tie down points through there and also under here you can see there it's actually got stabilizers which you know with these things they rock and roll all over the show but um those there actually because they fold up through there they actually stabilize everything but they actually fold up into there when you're not using it and just screw it and stop it there so we'll see how that fellow there goes up on top of here all right there you go gonna say sits on there pretty pretty well i'll show you what i've done here see you've got these normal tie-down points here what's not this swag you've got these the rs the rs1 actually done one of these you can see put them through there and they're all hooked up and what i might do see if i can while i've got the camera in my end oh oh there you go swag oh there's one stretcher lovely jubblies actually i was trying it before mattress probably not as firm as what i'm used to with the other ones but um on the stretcher she's a beauty all right all right well there you go that's the uh brush pad swag i just put a um my cover on it and a pillow that's it there sitting on the oztent rs1 stretcher i said before the only sort of new difference as i can see is this extendable arm with a crab claws the other thing i've actually seen it's actually got these tabs down here for them they look new i haven't seen them on a video before but yeah that's it sitting on the stretcher actually um that color and everything else actually blends in with the orange that orange and the orange there blends in pretty well like they're almost made for each other so there you go that's it oh crash pad sway
