Crafting Station Thralls! Conan Exiles Beginners Guide 2022

hello all you conan exile fans out there it's grannygamester back with another beginner's guide to conan exiles now i'm playing on the playstation 4 single player and in today's guide it's going to be for you very beginner players because what i'm going to cover is what thralls go in what crafting station because that is one of the first elements that you need to know to help your game along so i am only going to cover level one through level three thralls for this because the named thralls and the specialized thralls uh give a whole list of other things that they can do for you and that would be way too time consuming so the next guide i am going to cover tier 4 and specialized thralls so let's get started the first thrall is the cook that i'm going to cover and the cook you can put on the camp bar you could put them on the bonfire you can put them on the large campfire and the cook stove now each one of these stations that's all they will take is the cook so let's pop into the stove here and see what other benefits these thralls will give us so i'm going to take this one out and again when you get your first thrall and we will take our cook one here it's going to be in inventory and in order to place it into your stove bench here all you need to do is hit your r2 and it'll hit it'll go right into the thrall box there if it belongs in this station and to take it out all you need to do is hit your x button choose a slot down here and place him in there if you want to put him back in your inventory just hit your x button again and put him in your inventory that's how you move these thralls around so i'm going to go ahead and put him back in there and then i'm going to take him out and we're going to start with no thrall at all in here and we're going to see how long it takes to cook these cooked pork strips with no thrall in there at all so i'm going to go ahead and select that and if you can see on the right hand side on the panel crafting way down on the bottom it has my crafting cue and you can see the corked uh cooked pork strips there and i'm going to hit my l2 and that will start my soul cooking and you can see the white bar fill up and there you go that's how fast it will cook without a thrall on there so now we're going to take a level one cook and put her in there and as you can see she's going to give us some more foods to make now we can make honey bread we can make honeyed eggs and we can make mystery meat soup but she's also going to increase the time that it takes to make or make it faster i should say to make any foods in here so let's see again what the court uh cooked i keep wanting to say corked because we got pork cooked pork strips so let's try that again we're gonna go ahead and hit our l2 and as you can see it's filling up even faster so let's go ahead and put a level two cook in now as you can see she's given us even more uh meals to make now we can make the honey jerky and we can also make the honey gruel along with these others these others remain in here so each level that you go up you do not lose the level one cooks uh recipes it just adds to them so let's go ahead and look at the cooked pork strips how fast that's gonna take with a level two and as you can see it's visibly faster so let's take her out and we're gonna put in our level three and again we get some more recipes now we can make iced tea and i do believe that one was there before so let's go ahead and make some more cooked pork strips and look at how fast it goes now so it's obvious that your best cook to get is a level three cook to put in any of your cook stations because it will increase the time that it not increase the time but you will cook faster the higher the level cook the faster she will cook your food for you so that is the stoves and the cooking stations then we have the furnace now the furnace takes smelters and smelters only and again just like cooks the smelter will increase the time that or make it faster for you to make your product the higher thrall you get in here the faster they will make the iron bars for you and then we have the armorers bench and this is another whole different thing the armorer's bench with no thrall in there at all with your armor or anything in here uh as you can see this piece of armor i chose this uh aqua aquilonian infantry um curious curious not sure how to pronounce that but it has an armor value of 47 it has a durability of 430 and a weight of 19.29 and i'm looking at this on the left hand side of your screen on the bottom and that tells me all about this piece of armor with no armorer in there this one i made with a level one armorer in there and now you can see the armor value has increased from 47 to 49.3 the durability has increased from 430 to 448 and the weight has dropped from 19.29 down to 18.29 so that's the benefit of the higher level thrall in here now this is a level two so now i'm up to armor value of 51.5 and a durability of 466.1 and a weight now of 18.64 and then of course at level 3 i now have an armor value of 57.3 durability of 483.8 and the weight is now down to 18.33 so that's the benefit of putting higher level thralls in here it will increase your armor value yeah so that's pretty important then we have the saddler's work table now the saddler's work table takes a armorer and there's no benefit to him other than making those for you then in the blacksmith bench he takes a blacksmith only and again just like the armor if you have no thrall in there at all and i chose the aragosan um greatsword it has a health damage of 20 an armored pen of 20 it has durability of 720 and a weight of 4.99 with a level one thrall it the health damage has gone up to 21 the armor pen did not change but the durability went up to 741 and the weight has dropped to 4.79 a level 2 thrall the health damage and pen armor pen did not change at all but the durability did go up to 761 and the weight again dropped to 458 but a level three the health damage now increased to 22 the armor pen increased to 21 percent the durability is now 782 and the weight is 4.37 so it's better to have a level 3 blacksmith on your blacksmith's bench then we have the tinkerer's bench and the tinkerer's bench will take a blacksmith or an armorer and again uh once you get to allow a tier 4 there are extra benefits to this to the tinkerer's bench but either one of these will work and then we come to the casting table and the casting table will take an armorer or a blacksmith either or then there is the carpenter's bench and the carpenters bench is just like the blacksmith and the armorer with no thrall in there at all this bloodletter's bow has a health damage of seven in an armored pen of eight percent has a durability of six hundred and a weight point three three with a level one thrall it is now up to uh a health damage of eight the armor pen did not change the durability is 618 and the weight is 320 and a level two uh the health damage and the armor pen did not change but the durability went up to 634 and the weight dropped to 3.05 then on a level 3 again the health damage did not change or the armor pen bought the durability went up to 652 and the weight dropped to 291 so that's the benefit of a tier 1 through tier 3 thrall on this carpenter's bench and again it only takes carpenters then we have the tanner's table now the tanner's table will take either a tanner or a armor so let's pop this armorer off and we'll put this tanner in there now there's no extra benefit to a tanner in here they just do their job but if you put a armorer in here and let's take this one out and put the armorer in and if you want to look at the right hand side under crafting when i put him in you see now you have the ability to stitch and the ability to make silk from gossamer so you don't have to do it in your hand crafting now what stitch is is you can take your regular hide from regular animals which you find on the new river and combine it with twine and it will make thick hide for you this means you don't have to go try going up and killing a rhino or some other beast that will give you thick hide you can do it right here if you find in a level three armorer so he uh actually any armorer will work on here i do believe hold on i want to make sure about that any armor if you put him on there um he's going to do that so that's what you want to do just to make sure here and to show you we're going to grab this level one here armorer we're gonna grab him and we're gonna put him on there and again we'll pop this level three out and put this level one in and there it is so it doesn't matter what level armor you put on there you will get the ability to stitch so very important go looking for an armorer and then we have the tannery now all tanneries take uh a tanner there's no special benefits to them at all and then we have the cauldrons now the cauldrons can take a alchemist or a cook either or now if you put a cook on there the cook will increase the crafting time it depends again on the level of the cook and then the alchemist bench of course just takes alchemist but the nice thing about this and let's take this one off and as you can see on my crafting side over here on the right hand side we're gonna put a level one in here and that's all you need to put in here and then you will be you will have the ability to make the demon fire orb the gaseous orb the grease orb or fill a glass flask with water with just a level one alchemist so it's important you get those on there as soon as you can then we have the dyers bench and again the dyer's bench takes a alchemist and uh again it it will take uh higher thralls and they do give a different benefit but we'll cover that in the next guide and then we have the fermentation barrel now this takes either a cook or an alchemist and again the cook will give you increased speed to make these goodies then we have the artisans table now the artisan table you can put a blacksmith in there an armorer a carpenter or a smelter yeah all of these and the smelter will give you increased crafting speed but that's the only one that will the rest of these do not give any benefit just the smelter then we have the torturers work table and they take a task master one through three and again just like the other benches it gives you a increase in your truncheons and the concussive damage that they will do but it does not show it so let me show you how this works the first one here i made without a thrall and you can see the health damage is one armor pen is zero the durability is 300 and the weight is 300 or 3.33 pounds and this is the level one and no change in health damage or armor pen but the durability has increased and so has the weight and we'll just jump up here to the level three so the level three will give us a durability of 320 switch 6 and a weight of 2.91 but again no visible health damage increase or armor pen but it does give you a slight increase in concussive damage with these the higher thrall that you put on here and it does the same with rawhide bindings so as you can see the durability of no thrall at all is 600 but if i put a level 3 in there it jumps up to 652.2 and the weight is 1.64 so that's the benefit of the taskmasters one through three level in the torturer's work table then last but not least we have the wheel pane so the wheel of pain the taskmaster uh will increase or i should say decrease the time it takes to tame a thrall yeah so the higher level uh you put in here the faster it's going to go and uh if you put a tier 3 in here it's has a 75 faster time to craft that thrall or tame that thrall in your wheel of pain yeah so it's best to get the level three if you can and out in the world they are actually referred to as the um apprentice the journeyman and the best one is the task master yeah which is this one um he is the best the level three to put in here for crafting time so all right guys well i hope you found this helpful uh now you know which thralls will fit in which station and what you need and what they will do for you and
