Cozy Little Loft || The Sims 4 Apartment Renovation: Speed Build

hi guys it's almost here so welcome to another apartment renovation so today i am back renovating this apartment which is another city living apartment and this time i am building here in celine benally's apartment i'm not exactly sure what the address is but as always you can look in the top left hand side of the screen to see the address so if you want to place it in your game that's where it goes so for this apartment i am building like a split level loft style apartment i've done this a couple of times before i've actually done one in this exact same apartment before and i think it was i mean i think the layout was pretty much the same as far as the floor plan it's a little bit different and the placement of the furniture is pretty different so um yeah hopefully it's not too repetitive the style is very different the last time i did it it was more of an industrial style i used the industrial loft kit and this time i'm using a lot of dream home decorator a lot of maybe stuff from tiny living eco lifestyle and i think snowy escaped quite a bit too i really like the wood tone that came with that pack and i wanted to do something that was just more light and airy kind of cutesy less like realistic and stuff i've been trying to build a few more realistic things recently but i just felt like going all out with just something really cutesy and it's for a single sim or a couple there's just one bed in here and there's pretty much no room for any other sims so it's not really an apartment you'd want to have like a roommate or a family in or something like that but yeah i don't know hopefully you guys will like it this is definitely a style that i've done quite a bit but i felt like it's been a while since i have done anything that's kind of this more modern boho style i'm gonna call it um i don't know it's not like full on boho but it does feel a little bit boho with all the plants and definitely the wood tones like i just really love this like orangey wood tone with whites and creams and browns i think they just they're so pretty together and there's little hints of blue here and there i've definitely been using a lot of blue and green in my interiors recently both on this channel and my uh cc building channel if you guys have not heard of that channel yet it's called seamlessly with cc and i am absolutely loving building with custom content i definitely think i need to do a showcase over here on this channel where i talk about like a specific creator because i found new creators and also creators that i've showcased before the past have a lot more sets now and i'm just completely obsessed and having so much fun with it so definitely let me know if you guys would like to see me uh do like an apartment or a build showcasing a creator and if you have a specific creator definitely let me know which one you guys would like to see because i don't know maybe if you've been watching my cc channel you found a new creator or maybe there's a creator that you want to see like their full like catalog i think that could be pretty fun but uh yeah let me know and i actually been getting quite a few questions asking why i decided to keep the channel separate and that's because on this channel i'm primarily not building with cc and when i do it's only to showcase like one creator or some like creators collabing together and on that channel i want to go all out with custom content and also the other difference is i'm not doing voiceovers on that channel and this one i am doing voiceovers and so i felt like they were just too different to keep on the same channel and that's just kind of how i prefer to watch like um pretty much any youtube channels i like when the content stays pretty consistent so yeah hopefully you guys don't mind but i thought i would kind of address that because i have been getting a few questions about it but anyways here i really wanted to place a shelf above the couch but there was this horrible shadow that kept like casting down on the couch and i don't know why i haven't noticed shelves doing that too much in the past like maybe every once in a while but i feel like i've been noticing it more and especially here in this apartment like it was impossible like it did not look very good i don't know if it was because of the couch maybe i know there's some weird lighting issues with the sectional sofas i don't know but either way i think it looks fine without it but i do think it would have looked really cute to have like a little shelf with a few books and like a plant or something there i don't know but either way um up here on the platform is the bedroom of course i'm using this bed that came from dream home decorator because the wood tone on the frame is like perfect for the color scheme that i was going for and i like the um colors on like the bedding and stuff too i think are really nice but up here i decided to put a yoga mat i definitely saw a sim living here really enjoying yoga just because like the colors are so calming and like the lighting and everything in here feels really just peaceful and i just feel like a sim that lives here would really like doing yoga so um yeah i put that up here of course if you want like a desk or something you could probably put a little desk in that space but of course there is laptops now so you could just have a laptop at the dining table and that would work out just fine and i also really liked using that leaning artwork that i think came from eco lifestyle if i remember correctly i think it did but anyways um i thought they looked so nice just leaned up at the end of the bed i'm gonna have to do that like in other builds because i've never thought about doing that before but i think it's such a good spot to put some leaning artwork because maybe they're just sitting there and waiting to be hung up at some point or they're just there purely as decoration because i think leaning artwork actually just it looks really nice and it's something i don't use i i don't use it enough i've been using it more now that i've been building on my second channel because there's a lot of leaning artwork that like cc creators have made um so i'm trying to trying to use it more but anyway something i want to mention here in the entryway i used that wall decal that came from the um what is it called the loft kit i just referenced it the industrial love kit um i haven't used this wall decal nearly enough it's so cool and i thought it looked really nice here with like a brick accent wall and then other than that there's just this eco lifestyle shelf and i used a few decorations in there and i actually used the giraffe statue that came from the latest build kit i believe the but what is it to the max kit anyways i haven't used that statue and i definitely need to use it more because it's super cute i also have not used the uh peacock statue from that same pack and i meant to use it in the apartment where i was showcasing that pack and then i just didn't i just forgot about it and i feel like that was a mistake because it's very cute so i'm definitely gonna have to use that in a different build but over here is the bathroom i also have a tiny little room that's next to the dining table i thought about putting a washer and dryer there but i put a walk-in closet so you could definitely have another bathroom or a tiny little laundry room or something like that but yeah i think this bathroom turned out to be pretty cute it is pretty nice and simple but it has all of the necessities and then this is basically it for the build so hopefully you guys have enjoyed this one i'm just going to add the last few decorations here in the bathroom and then we're on to the screenshots so yeah
