Cozy homemaking motivation | fresh start for the garden, soap making, cooking

[Applause] h [Applause] [Applause] [Music] ooh okay that's an option I cooked a big batch of alme and I'm just going to put them into little containers and each will get a different fruit or topping and that way everybody can pick something that they like one of my favorite version is the strawberry with cacao nips so the cacao is the unprocessed raw the COO is the process ra cacao contains more antioxidants and more [Music] minerals I am so eager to start my garden but today it's a rainy day so I'm going to spend more time in my studio so I can spend more time tomorrow in the the garden since we going to have a nice weather on the [Music] [Music] forecast the fresh leaves and grass is very inspiring on the spring for my [Music] art the only time when I lose track of the time is when I paint so I didn't realize it's already passed the launch time so I'm going to prepare some um spring rolls that is glutenfree and it's delicious and it's packed with vegetables I chopped up some cabbage I shred some carrots and I'm going to just roten up in a rice paper which I always have on hand because it's very inexpensive it has so many potential how many different food I can create from that and I have some rice noodles in there as well [Music] meet me at this time tomorrow there's something you need to know I got used to see nah it's [Music] fine as I'm getting ready for the sunny days in the garden I had this idea I saw this cute cup liners at I think it was marshas but they reminded me of the sunflower and I was thinking if I make a chocolate cupcake it will look like it's just a centered part of the [Music] sunflower money gets you everything but if don't make me happy good luck it's not the reason my heart SE what I also want to make some colorful soaps tomorrow so I am Gathering the [Applause] ingrediences I definitely over pushed the limit of this cup liner next time I'm going to put Less in there I'm shredding and drying and dehydrating some orange slices and orange pills for the soap making you don't have a reason it's hard to make it all worth cuz what I [Music] got I never seen this kind of oranges before I find this at Grocery Outlet let's try H can't really decide it's sour I don't know it is kind of like the blood orange but no I don't [Music] know I got [Applause] getting ready for the day and of course it starts with food it's a very fast way of uh preparing this chicken and also it just adds an extra texture the crunchiness with the eggs and the glutenfree flour but it's soft in the inside so we will love this [Music] chopping up a few vegetables to go with that some avocado cucumbers and tomatoes [Music] Sunshine following the rain and then the other way around the rain is followed by Sunshine so while the weather is trying to make up its mind I'm going to make some soap this is very easy it's just a soap based one so it's less procedure involved with that I just have to melt them and I'm going to use some essential oils that I will have the link Down Below in the description box and I'm using some alcohol that I sprayed on the m to avoid the bubbles using the orange pills and that will be a soap that has um exfoliating [Music] effect I'm trying to eyeball the amount that I'm going to need for the next two soaps [Music] when I was making soap from scratch I definitely bumped into a huge problem coloring them because all the natural dyes they just turned into a different color but since I'm using the soap base where I just have to matte I have a much easier time to mix the natural colors in [Music] [Applause] [Music] finally the sun is shining so I'm heading [Music] outside I've been eagerly waiting to use this planting bench and now I just have to squeeze through that little [Music] door there's nothing wrong with that we all lose track I wouldn't mind it we have a fresh start for this season and this is going to be probably the most exciting part of the gardening sence we started to Garden another thing that we learned that on the countryside we not supposed to put the cover on the barbecue and the reason for that because the mice can run up to the barbecue on the cover so if it's just the barbecue itself they cannot go up but if you have the cover on they have an easy g grip to climb up and just go everywhere okay so if I would put it on this pot maybe it would be easier on me as I'm getting out and this is mainly for the indoor plants or any kind of plants but the garden is right here so I think this is going to be ooh kind of [Music] sagy this one is completely full with the rain water so I was thinking if I choose this spot with this planting station I could use this for cooking because I have the outl outl outlet there's with we all TR I would it if I find it there's nothing wrong with that you have to be an that cat I wouldn't mind it should I find it wow seriously no no no no no not yet not yet don't rain yet I'm not done there's nothing wrong with that me and we all lose track I wouldn't mind it if I find it there's nothing wrong with that don't have to be in that I would find it should find it oh no oh W wo wo wo wo this is a fun F thing that I love so much and it it was very inexpensive but I need to buy a smaller container for it oh no no w w w w w w [Music] there is the beds are ready so I'm going to separate the plants that will go down there and I will fight with the elements for the rest of the deck [Music] organization this part of the deck gets really h hot and very sunny so I have to reconsider what I'm going to plant here and also I'm going to take them out from the pottery so they need to be in the dirt so that box will be filled up with dirt and that way the plants will have a better chance to survive because they root definitely overheats on the summer [Music] the rain is forcing me to go inside again but it's okay I have to catch up with some hous work and also tomorrow we going to have have a full sun and we're not going to have any rain probably for the next couple of weeks or at least for one week for sure it's nice to see in the forecast but as of right now I'm going to for and for the Twisted shirt I like to match the bottom give a little bit of a shake and then just um pull it and kind of fixing it on the top by just reaching under the shoulder part and then for the rest it's easier to fall so clear it was all pretend I now the sun is back so let's go [Music] outside I can find a Higher [Music] Ground I just have to reach past the sum [Music] deline to reach high as we are in the transition of moving our garden it's definitely a lots of footwork because I always need something or I forget something but slowly we are getting there and I actually like this new fresh start because now we can plan better as we learn more each year one thing that I learned that herbs like poor soil so that's good news for us and then also we created this separated bed that is divided by sections so that way the herbs won't grow on each other I think we're going to have a better luck to keep contain them that way I'm going to plant the tomatoes with the peppers because they tend to want the same conditions and then also I'm going to plant and basil next to it for two reasons one it just keeps the bugs away so it's a good combination for them but also it can Infuse the basil flavor into the tomatoes so I think that would be fun to experient with [Music] that until we get around to make the fence around the garden I'm just going to use this little rods and use some net over it I don't have any extra sardines but if I would have at home I would put it underneath where the roots are for the tomatoes so I just like to make a whole dump one um very cheap sardine and then put the Tomato in there but I think our dirt is fine we just freshly started this Garden so we have the good ratio and perfect combination and I got some other fertilizer as well but if you have some EXP tied sardines those are a great way to fertilize the [Music] tomatoes oh we're living in the I have purchased many basil in the past and I tried to keep them inside and I never knew why it was dying just less than a week and now I actually find some information about that that they actually how they sell it in the store they are too crowded so they need to be separated one by one because they are just taking away nutrition from each other so I think it's going to be fine outside to have them more than one in one pile more like a cluster way but um if you want to plan this to keep it inside make sure you separate them by ones and another full tool that I like to use this moisture meter we have lots of rotting issue and because of the lots of rain and I'm kind of leaning towards not to water the plants enough so that way it will be a good indication if I need to water them or not I'm going to plant the strawberries in containers this year because I think I can just manage them better that way so I like to buy the Potted soil to um when I'm using the pots because if I grab the the dirt that we have from the actual bed it becomes very dense so this is perfectly balanced with um the little rocks and things in there and sand that loosens up so it needs to be a little bit more loose than the actual dirt in the garden and is an organic one and it's good for vegetables and flowers so I always have this on hand the [Music] pain oo okay me here time tomorrow there's something need finally the stopes are ready to be decorated it will make a perfect gift it was very e to make and just
