That's Judo Gene Lebell. He had the first MMA fight of the modern era and used to spar with Sugar Ray Robinson. He was also a buddy of Bruce Lee and he supposedly taught Bruce some grappling (there are some doubts as to the extant of this happening, but they undoubtedly knew and worked with each other)
