Stuff like this video is great for reference ideas when doing audioscapes with rain. I think the majority of people who make "ambient rain" videos use outdoor rain recordings, which gives the listener perspective the idea that they're standing out in the rain (unless the video is explicitly titled "indoor rain", they know what's up). They also use recordings that signal the raindrops landing on foliage or in mud/dirt puddles, which makes a very different sound from wood/concrete and indoor SFX.
So for this skyline ambience all the sounds (speeder engines, etc) are very indoors-y and muffled like you're indoors on Coruscant, but the rain sounds like you're standing outside in gentle rain with large-leaf trees around you.
Just some dissonance that most people seem to overlook but it's nice to know. I think creators are getting better about uniformity of soundscape but the rain thing is an artifact from the earlier days of hobby soundscaping.
Also note this video for another example of someone who did it very very right.

These are very cool. Would it be possinle for you to do 3-5minute loop versions of these ambiences? They would be easier to stream through a virtual tabletop platform. I'd be ok if they'd be something you provided through patreon for example.
