[Music] annamaria Shen here for corporate profile and today we're here at pop bar on the corner of carmine and 6th Avenue in the always HAMP West Village of New York City if you love pop gelato pops or Beto yogurt on a stick and you want to pick your own dips and popping then you've come to the right place if you have no idea what I'm talking about then follow me because I'm gonna take you on a tour and we're gonna meet one of the cofounders of this trendy Italian shop that took frozen sweet put them on a stick and made a classic cool again and make sure you stick around because we're gonna find out what surprises they've been cooking up in the pop lab and find out why everybody's been buzzing about the hot chocolate on a stick all right we have Reuben Vanunu here and he's one of the cofounders of cobbler the Reuben can you tell people who have never been here sort of what to expect and what they can find sure we make a natural gelato Prada in-house and we make it on a stick so if you can actually not only heat it on a stick but customize it however you want with different toppings and dipping so the choice is pretty much you what are the different flavors and ingredients and toppings that customers are papa hauling a few comments to choose from Papa Hollis can choose from about 40 flavors usually we have 20 in the display at any time about three deep things and five six topics so you can virtually have different ones every day and what are some of the more unusual for an operator unusual flavors for example in this month which we thank Stephen approaching we have pumpkin pie you want to try that in the summer we don't be crazy with like passion fruit and more exotic fruit flavor so it really depends on the season and then we have the classics such as besides chocolate vanilla pistachio obviously hazelnut John Dewey Oh too many times parfaits on that type of chocolate but pretty much everything we do is natural and bollocks how'd you come up with this idea and why do you think it's become so popular I mean I know you're from Italy which is sort of like the birthplace of gelato so my partner Daniel is actually from Europe as well he had the idea of making amazing pop handmade pops and myself being familiar that let's try to make gelato so that's how it started and you know two years later here we are really in great pop art Alexander Wang's in a custom order for his smash beat after party and I know your business is all about customization or visor own bar so how can people customize a pop our order for their special event well obviously they have to contact us and we say 99% everything is possible we obviously check that we don't use we only use natural ingredients and then we try to match colors we can even stand the stick with a logo if you want but usually especially for fashion houses and their different selections different colors we customize the color we can give have this visual chocolate so we have our ways of you know making their imagining now I sort of love that everything made here on the premises it really for me handmade element to it without giving away any secrets what does it to make no hotbar we always say a lot of real fruits which we get delivered you know almost on a daily basis fresh milk a lot of passion and so annamaria we have a few choices for you today I would advise you go for a gelato since it's your first one we have coffee we are pumping five which is basically a seasonal item we have vanilla we have hazelnut we have chocolate we have pistol which is one of your favorites and then after you choose I'm gonna ask you what dippings on top okay well I think I'm gonna go classic on this one I'm gonna try the a lot of our you have a choice of hazelnuts dispatcher coconut or almond and actually we shall be able to chocolate sprinkles in the back and on top of that I'll ask you what chocolate if you want I think I'm gonna go with dipped in chocolate with chocolate sprinkles sitting up a good toy it's a good choice right that's where the magic happens so I know me I'm gonna take your vanilla off the first thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna put some chocolate sprinkles on it it just sticks right on there and then I'm gonna ask you if you want dark milk or white chocolate what do you recommend I recommend the dark chocolate my favorite you want in half stick maybe well if you have to look super hostile gotta let me hands-on owner didn't sort of freeze right there exactly we have a special chocolate that kind of you know within five seconds using these pieces on top so this is your creation I'm sure it's not the last one yeah Joe it's definitely not the last all right first light I'm going to give you my honest opinion on this a little ooh delicious what an amazing we're so glad you guys wanna bite alright so I found two Poppa Holly care like let's know what did you guys order how did you have to my is your bar I was a little bit boring I went for a passion fruit with just dark chocolate well I went for the strawberry Sabet Oh with dark chocolate chocolate on top as well now beyond the classic items what other innovative creations can you order a hot dog well especially for the winter crowd and for people who like to take poplar at home and what as a gift we created hot chocolate on a stick would you like it in dark milk or white vanilla caramel chocolate so it's like a frozen chocolate few monistic here alright okay what happens next drop a meal and what we're gonna do now put it in there is the frozen chocolate milk right in the hot milk yes it does it's amazing on purpose it's not a regular cube of chocolate it's made to be turned into a hot chocolate and another thing we noticed when we were testing it is people tend to lift it up and and they start to bite before the chocolate is over so we made it about 30% larger so these are not actually regular marshmallow but they're actually all natural so it's a bit harder to make but there's no artificial flavoring or preservatives I want a little more yeah more the better pour it on there ribbon there you go so I know Maria since you're a true photoholic we have a gift for you it's not
