[Music] welcome i'm anthony and this is bad idea metals it's been about four weeks since i've last recorded anything so give you a quick update um i got really sick i've had some kidney stones they're cleared uh that was about four weeks ago and then once the once i was all healed up from that i felt the pressure to get this this shed or this barn finished um i had the poles for months and i finally was able to afford the roof so i bought it put it on and as i was installing the roof i had a mishap about a week ago i broke my finger so we're gonna tear some stuff apart today and if we can we're gonna melt it too but first i'd like to give you a tour and have a look around don't mind the mess the rust the tools i got a lot of things to finish cleaning up the rust that's gonna stay but yeah it's a nice 20 foot long shed put a workbench in the middle this fun little desk is only temporary but i got some shelves i got this other shed turned around to be my closet it's a mess in there but it's got some shelves too got my green sand i have a plan for that that will be my next video by the way but yeah it's a nice sheet metal roof good view of the yard it's gonna be good well i don't know what to name this thing so in the comments below submit some ideas um my kids and i are are leaning towards some star wars names but i'm not gonna spoil those um in the next video or two after i get some ideas i'll uh reveal what the name of this structure will be but for now um it's just the red barn uh or my outdoor work shed let's tear something apart and uh get get to the copper get to some precious metals inside and and uh we'll melt it if we have time or if we're able to [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] cool [Music] [Music] okay well we got our our brush motor for the for the rolling brush on the front of the vacuum we've got our vacuum motor to create the suction we've got all this extra wiring that sends power from the main unit down to the brush motor and each of these coils is 34 feet of fine gauge copper so there's two rolls of 34 feet and then just random other copper so yeah that's what i pulled from there i also have these i'm assuming they're steel these steel frames which i can take over to the metal recyclers and they'll give me a penny and a half per pound this is about three pounds so this is like not even not even five cents worth of steel um so i am intrigued by these though these uh ball wheels are the right size for what i've been trying to accomplish this entire time uh the beginning of the summer i wanted to make a copper ball and this is the right size so i'm gonna do what i can to pop these off they're just on casters if i can pop these out and get the ball isolated it'll be a good template for our molds okay [Music] so [Music] so [Music] it's getting kind of dirty down there and the fire brick is cracked everything seems to hold up all right but uh this gap right here in the wool i've noticed it starts to get red hot when i do copper so i've got some i've got some new wool on its way and i'm gonna i'm gonna replace this section right here that'll be a project next week and hopefully i'll have it rigidized in time to do another video next week but for now just showing off some of the wear and tear on the system here just a little bit of damage to the wool and the the metal that spills over gets a mess makes a mess all over the ground so anyway let's go ahead and melt something for the first time in almost a month [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] we're going to put the broken intake open [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] hmm [Music] well it got windy out there and it started affecting the the air quality on the mic so um i'm gonna close out in here my uh my old workshop area well we're back it's good it's good to finally be back out and melting stuff and getting things um torn apart um i'll have to figure out how to crack into those motors and get the copper out um it's probably not too hard i just didn't have all the tools outside yet and i don't have a vice out there to hold it still also with the the cast on my left hand it makes it very difficult to to stabilize things so we'll get to it we'll get it all out as always please like please subscribe okay i'll see you next week you
