it's just amazing to come together to be with the Saints again and listen we're celebrating 105 years of existence for the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ of the apostolic faith and so this year it's um and we're going to talk about the most important thing first registration right in order to meet us in Orlando you must be registered and so registration is very key for all of our conferences and so we're going to ask the registar herself the wonderful and The Talented sister Sher young to come on to share about registration but along with sister Sher young we have the honor of our chairman of the International Convention committee Bishop William Wilkins is on the line and so we're GNA ask him to join us as well praise the Lord to you both praise praise the Lord ladies praise the Lord Praise them praise them so sister Sherry I know people are eager to register if they have not done so already so please highlight for us um registration and the process how they could go online to pre-register which is what we're hoping that everybody does um before they get to Orlando praise praise him yes that's the intent excited I feel the feror from the folk that are online and I too am excited always excited to hear or think of homegoing the history of the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ is so rich there's so much and anytime you've got a great family when the family gets back together when they come back for the home coming that's right how wonderful so excited about that happening and excited about the fact that registration is full swing folk are registering which is wonderful yes make my heart palpitate thank you please please please so registration going great guns let me just share bits and pieces about the pricing and about the benefits of registering we have standard registration and we have the VIP registration with the or the goal sorry so standard and goal with the standard the fee is $150 with that you get one adult and two youth for the family the standard rate is 27 75 two adults and four youth there is then as well a gold package that gold package for an individual is $200 to youth that come along with the one adult for the family package there are two adults and four youth that rate is $375 for the seniors we have both the standard and the goal it's $100 for our seniors and 150 for the seniors that choose the gold package we've got uh youth individual youth coming along it's $25.75 for the Youth that choose the gold package there is a package of course for head of household that would be one adult and four youth that's $150 and then the head of household that chooses goal is $200 for one youth one adult and four youth now something that's a little different this year than in the past couple of years credential pricing is not a part of this so those of you who are licensed members of the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ we need you to go ahead pay your credential fee and then register for registration as well let's talk a little bit about what's the differ difference in the two packages the one that is for standard and the one that is for goal with your standard registration comes access to a digital conspectus I love the fact that we have gone digital you can pull up all the information and carry it in your tablet or in your phone there will be priority updates throughout the day for any changes any rooms any itions and just a couple of flashes throughout the day so that you're aware of what's going on there will be as a result of your registering access to all services and all workshops and then along with registration when there are provided discounts for the hotel and there are several restaurants in the hotel there will be discounts available for that registration so if you choose goal in addition to the things I just cited for you there will be seating for gold at the homecoming celebration banquet that celebration banquet is on Tuesday so make sure you're getting everything set up registered around that thought in addition to that there's access to download streaming services there is access as well to include that after the convention is over for our nightly Services there will be priority seating for those who are registered as goal priority seating for you need to be there uh by 7:30 but coming earlier folk get there because they're anxious excited about what's going on there will be seatings set aside for you until that time interval there will also be and I love this exclusive access to a giveaway for one night stay at the 2025 holy convocation so this gets you in line for the possibility of that there will be a goal reception with the presider and all those who have registered as goal will get access to that event so especially time with our presider who's got a lot of things going on a lot of things that are happening for the convocation and for the organization now in order to get into any of the programs any of the services any of the sessions you do need to be registered there will be uh plan in place for folk who come that are not ready register with the intent yep everybody come to the registration desk see me or part of the staff and then we've got some additional plans in place we're excited can you tell that my sister can you tell I can tell sis I can excited about folk coming to see what's going on with the church of our Lord Jesus Christ and I love that sister Sherry you really have an Avenue for every delegate that's going to attend holy conv and so it's going to be phenomenal um I do just want to highlight you talked about youth packages does that include any of their trips that they may take during that week that could be for a sister young or Bishop either one and the trips are usually add-ons so there are some things that come for the Youth with registration but there are add-ons I do see if you all don't mind a question that I don't mind addressing the question says we have two adults and five youth do we pay for a family package and then add a child that's the exact way to go so you will then register as a family that gets you to adults and for Youth and then the additional youth is only $25 wonderful yeah wonderful thank you for that question that's what we need tonight we need your questions so please don't hesitate to ask um and sister Sherry share with us uh the time that the registration will open I know we have our celebration banquet on Tuesday that we're going to highlight a little bit later in the show but um what time would registration open during holy communication so on Tuesday we do open up for anyone who is pre-registered another plug for getting that done early gay we open up for pre-registered delegates at 10: in the morning on Tuesday and then again back at 1 so pre-registration is available all day Tuesday literal registration for the actual convocation begins on Wednesday we open at 8 o'clock each morning right after prayer so we get you in there let you talk to your ABA and then come down and talk to us that's fantastic and it's a seamless process so the price of pre-registering is amazing you walk up you give them your name get your information and you're freee to go takes less than a minute so pre-register everybody and you can see going across the screen um here at below your screen that you can register today on the ICC website at ic- cooljc.org registration will is open and will continue to stay open for the next few months um before we get to July very good Bishop anything else you wanted to add in regards to registration I know we're pushing it heavy because it's it's something that we need for our conference and so at this day and age you can't go to any conference without being registered so absolutely it's a giv absolutely absolutely and and I I first of all I'd like to say praise the Lord to um everyone um who is viewing us and certainly on behalf of our presiding Apostle um and our vice presiding Apostle uh the entire Board of Apostles uh we greet you in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ as his representa AES uh for our convocations well I'm excited uh I'm excited because of a couple of things and um the first thing I'm excited is is that our registration is doing wonderful our registration is doing really great uh the numbers are doing phenomenally well and uh it's it's important that we do that um you know uh Victoria you mentioned that you know you pretty much can't go to any conference nowadays without doing registration but I do want to say and I think I've said this um during the women's Council um uh live a few months ago uh that the the um Hotel industry and all the pieces that go along with making a conference like this uh all of the pricing has has gone up tremendously and so therefore we've had to govern ourselves of course accordingly making sure that we're responsible and taking care of the meeting and so we put a lot of emphasis on registering and so we need everyone to register uh we need everyone to register so that we can make sure that everyone and everything is is uh covered for our convocation um our delegates again I can't thank you enough you are doing an outstanding job uh of registering um the numbers have have just been I was shocked when I started seeing the numbers our people are really jumping on uh registration for this year um and and it is it is at a great point and we want to continue to see the numbers grow and so we asked that you would go uh go in and register uh as soon as possible we're at the Rosen Shingle Creek uh a property that we had a several uh year contract with uh and we're coming to the end of those those contracts with the Rosen Shingle Creek um uh and and uh I think we only have um uh uh one more or so beyond this one um uh and it certainly will be up to the board of Apostles to decide on what the future of that's going to be but but the Rosen Shingle Creek is a great place for us to be Orlando Florida is always great um I believe it's region 10 Apostle McCoy's region always slam dunks it formerly Apostle groover's uh region they always do an outstanding job I'm really excited about um working with them Apostle McCoy has already extended did anything that their region can do to make sure that this convocation is a success and they're doing some uh planning on their part to make sure that everything goes well so it's it's going to be a wonderful wonderful um con uh uh uh convocation uh and sister Sherry I want to thank you uh for an outstanding job she does a wonderful job the registration team does a fantastic job along with our technology team sister Alicia and Shawn Morrison sister Stacia they do a phenomenal job making sure that all the pieces are in place for convocation and so as the chairman uh the last thing that you want to have happen is for the conference not to be able to sustain itself and so we've put all the measures in place to make sure that the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ holy convocation not only pays for itself but it also uh takes care of um the the the the needs of the organization uh as it relates to other things and and we also uh have systems in place and you're hearing this from the Chairman's mouth amen and uh from the heart of the Apostles that we also have steps in place to make sure that if anyone comes to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ they will hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ uh and we have made sure that there will be no barriers in their in their way uh to make sure that they can hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that they can get in uh with no problems at all uh we have proper measures in place uh and I don't want to spend a lot of time focusing on people who who who don't register can't reg that kind of thing I want to talk to the folks who are able to register we we have systems in place for people who are unable that that we've always had that and we will continue to have that but I want us to put our Focus I want us to put our attention on those who are capable of helping us to register Amen to pay for our conference again uh I go to several conferences as a matter of fact this year I took Victoria and Tracy with me to our uh to my Annual Meeting Planners conference introduce them to the Annual Meeting Planners conference and um needless to say there is a registration fee that we have to pay and it's not $125 I can guarantee you that it's not $150 not even $200 it's not even $300 it's several hundred uh that we had to pay for each of us to be trained uh to make sure that we have everything that we need to to make sure that uh we can uh have a successful conference but I also want to put some emphasis on this Tracy and uh uh Tracy Victoria and uh sister Sher that not only is this convocation focused on homecoming but this is also the year of social justice that's really important I want to put a lot of emphasis on that because um uh Elder van Adams uh and Apostle James I Clark have put together a beautiful program that will focus on the social justice needs of the church it's important that the church uh see its role uh a key role uh in in Social Justice and um and and and how we carry the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world understanding that there are needs that um that that our communities have and a part of the the mission of the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ is to serve those uh communities that we are called to serve and a part of that is social justice and we see some of that happening right around us we see that happening in colleges we see that happening in communities and so along with homecoming there is a a a big emphasis a a huge emphasis on social justice and you will learn how to implement social Justice in your church uh you will learn how to do it in your region in your um in your uh uh dases uh I have had the privilege just recently attending a meeting with Apostle Clark here in New York uh and um in in that meeting that I attended uh Apostle Clark spoke to a few Pastors in the Harlem Community about how they can become engaged in social justice and how they can uh uh uh uh begin to uh get their churches involved in social justice and there was a uh it was uh you know Baptist Pentecostal uh apostolics uh Methodist am um uh a ecumenical group of individuals and we all shared the same passion to make sure that the needs of our community is being met and so a a part of your registration along with your registration you will be trained on how to go uh into your community and serve in your community Through social justice that it's it's it's really important it's it's key and so we want to make sure that uh that you are able to do so in a wonderful way uh that you're able to to go into your community go into your church go into your region go into your dasis and Implement a social justice Ministry Within your uh within your church so again registration will help you to do that uh your children will will have a great time at the Children's Ministry your teens will have a great time uh uh uh at at the aat and not only that a part of the convention committee is uh mother Woods uh mother Woods is a part of the convention committee and she's making sure that every senior citizen in the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ their needs are being met there is something for everyone but we need you to register again um I I don't want us to spend a lot of time squabbling about registration you must register you've got to register to be a part of the Holy convocation and all of the activities um I I can't wait to tell you uh but um we're we're going to be unleashing uh by the end of the week by God's grace uh the speaker list for the convocation by the end of the week and there will be a holy convocation concert that will take place I can't wait to tell you who it is but I want to wait until that information uh comes out but we've already gotten uh great folks not only from the outside but there'll also be artists from within the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ I like celebrating other people and I like to hear other folks but I mostly like to hear the songs of the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ and I like to push our very own and so we have two great artists from the church of our Lord Jesus Christ that will also uh serve so as you can tell uh uh Victoria I am excited I'm excited are excited you're on fire and this is where we all need to be I love absolutely absolutely so a couple of comments Ben sorry couple of comments tied right in what he said I think it's clever that we've married homecoming with social justice Absolut you learn about what's going on in the land and how to address it is at home absolutely place to teach it f coming home to learn what's happening in our land and how is wonderful absolutely another thing that sparked while you were talking uh the teens I want to tell you the number of young people coming to the convocation and leaving with the Holy Ghost yes is so exciting they have been in a room right outside of where registration is and there all the evening those kids in there worshiping and praising with a sincerity and coming out and they keep coming to the door another one got the Holy Ghost another one came through bring your youth yeah bring your youth this is the place for them to be where they can receive they get excited the same kind of fervor you're feeling from us they feel from other youth their age and they go back changed that's right one of the questions that came in had to do with someone having registered at standard and now wants to change to goal you definitely can do that there is both an email and a phone number listed that get you to me so just reach out and we will update that for you so an easy process to make that happen absolutely and that's sister co uh sister K and her and her husband who always support the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ in everything that we do and they they not only support with their words but they they're just great and and thank you sister Kum and I do see some comments about aat workshops and other things that may have had some challenges um I'm not want to make sure that that if there are are issues that happen that you you have access to me um to make sure that those needs and and those concerns are met um but I I do want to just go back to something very quickly sister Sherry that you talked about with social justice and homecoming marrying together uh it it is so very very important that you attend this convocation because you're going to walk away with tools to implement in your local church and in your uh in your dasis in region um the convocation is not about concerts necessarily it's not about you know us just having a good time roller skating and trips it's about us celebrating what we have done all year long but it is also important that the individuals pastors and leaders send their individuals to the holy convocation to be trained and when they're trained they take what they have received and take it back and implement it in their local churches that's really important and social justice uh will be such a huge part of that this year again I can not underscore uh the conversations that I've had with elder van Adams who is working so very very hard um I saw a list of the folks that he and Apostle Clark are bringing in and you are going to be blessed there will be a set a time during the convocation between the hours of uh 9 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. where everything will shut down and we will have a session that is a General Session almost every day that will focus on social justice uh that's how serious the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ is about making sure that we are equipped to go back home to implement social justice Ministries in our churches and I also want to underscore not just social justice but social concerns because social justice and social concerns um um kind of walk handin hand in our organization um uh uh Elder van Adam hand Elder van Adams handles the social Justice piece and um AJ uh Johnson Pastor Aj Johnson hand handles the social concerns piece and and the social concern is important because um you know we want to we certainly believe in justice but we also want to make sure that people in our community are are wellfed that they uh that there are uh things like what we see in the Mission Church in in uh in uh Massachusetts in Boston where they're feeding people where where uh Christ temple in in in Harlem uh has a uh food giveaway where where Pastor uh Edward Buster Fields is doing things in his community to make sure that young people are off the street and so many others uh our church uh great Refuge Temple in New York we have coat drives and all sorts of other things that we're doing to make sure that the needs of our community are being met and we want to train you yeah to make sure that you can go back home and Implement a grassroot program to make sure that your needs are being met and we're going to have though Dean Adams Come on uh on one of these sessions very soon to talk to you about what's actually going to happen that's right so you can't steal his Thunder Bishop you can't sh I'm done with it I'm done with it all the good stuff happen but I do want to address two of the questions that I did see while we have sister Sher still on on registration CH Shar can you share that uh email uh information that individuals can follow up with you there's seems to be a request that needed to be follow up on um I love it and I took down the name and intend to reach back out to that individual tonight but it is ic- cooljc.org g.org okay wonderful and then there's a question again about uh will non cool JC visitors have to register to attend services and workshops so registration is for all there is a plan in place for different ones but yes registration is for everyone that is actually coming to the convention wonderful wonderful wonderful it's kind of similar you know I go to all sorts of different conferences um and some of those conferences I'm not a member of um and you know um I'm sure as much as they respect me as a cool JC Bishop uh they've never waved in registrations um you know you you're part of the conference and and the conference uh cost um every chair that you sit in everything that happens there's a fee to it and so we just simply ask people to invest invest in um the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ and and that's not only for for the cool our cool JC members that's for everyone we need everyone to invest in uh the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ listen we ALS also will support home Mission Global Mission education evangelism and social justice those five cool JC initiatives also will find support through the convocation and we cannot do that uh if people aren't registered uh you cannot try to run a conference through the offerings as a matter of fact the the the um rule of thumb uh as a meeting planner if you go to any meeting planning conference they they will tell you you take your major budget and and you you you look at your major budget and you take uh the the how much the budget is going to be for the conference and then you divide that by the number of attendees and that's how you should get your uh registration fee uh and uh cool JC we don't do that uh we we we help to subsidize those things and so but we need your help we need your help to do that and we need everyone's help to do that so that we can meet the goal of spreading the gospel throughout the world the Great Commission go you into all the world and preach the gospel spread the go gospel proclaim the gospel to all the world and uh it takes money to do that yeah that's right and like ELD sh said registration is an investment inclusion absolutely absolutely absolutely that's my brother from another mother I love you I will throw in one addition just a a thought in the Book of Numbers Moses was specifically told to sum the people in the congregation Moses was told to gather everybody and get them registered the same was true for Joseph and Mary when they were on the way as Christ was about to be born they were on their way to registration absolutely register y'all yay register I love it well sister Sherry thank you for all of your hard work um your talents your abilities We Appreciate You many years of service to the IC to the National Church so we commend you we thank you and um we appreciate all that you do because I know it takes a lot of time I did a little I did register just for a little bit for the Congress so I know it takes a lot of time and patience and patience amen sister Tracy praise God but thank you so if you have any other questions sister Tracy did put sister on your at your local church the same way that pastors plan for the year depending on uh the income from the tithe and the offerings and the other things it's the same sort of idea uh that there's no way that we can do this without your support so we praise and thank God for you amen amen uh so a Abraham Bellinger just asked hey uh uh Pastor Bellinger he asked is the goal top uh and how much is it uh the goal is the top and um and the flyer um is is on but sister Sher you want to tell him how much the goal is certainly as an individ ual it's $200 and that gets you one adult and two Youth and for the package for the family it's 375 again to adults and for Youth and I'm excited about that that means uh Pastor Bellinger is coming home for homecoming so we'll be looking forward to seeing you tell us what you have available and what can they do at this point amen amen thank you sister Tracy we have a overflow Hotel thank you Jesus our Bishop Wilkins has worked tirelessly um trying to commit to a contract um for our uh Church of our Lord Jesus Christ for our Saints our delegates it's up on the screen now our overflow hotel information and we do have a overflow hotel we do not have a a a large host of rooms so I encourage you tonight to go and book your room tonight um as you can see on the screen it does say it's 144 plus tax and if you want to get a little more detail that tax is 13.25 if you want to know what it is per night is a 163.5 if you want to know from July 24th to 2 eight how much you're going to spend is going to be $652 32 so that would be your hotel Fe at the Overflow Hotel come on sister kamiko see this is what I'm talking about see this is why I'm telling you this IC staff is on point see she gave you everything she gave you everything uh the only thing I do want to point out um that is important is that if you stay at the Overflow Hotel amen and you're coming over to the main Hotel uh for the services whatever you paid for parking will also uh allow you to park at the Rosen Shingle Creek for free that's really important so uh it's not like you have to leave the Overflow hotel and then come and pay for parking at the Rosen Shingle Creek no uh you uh can go straight from the Rosen uh Plaza hotel which is the Overflow Hotel which is a beautiful hotel it is an I promise you it is not a step down at all from the Rosen Shingle Creek the Rosen pla the Rosen Plaza is a beautiful fourstar hotel uh and it's right on the main strip there and you can leave that hotel and come to the roads in Shingle Creek and you won't have to pay for parking I think that that is absolutely wonderful but as sister kamiko said you need to get a room r away now I'll tell you why that is um so one of the things that we try to make sure that we do is we try to protect the organization from liability when it comes to um booking too many rooms and not being able to meet the contract uh and so we we uh do our best to make sure that we get a good allotment of rooms and we increased the room block at the roseen Shingle Creek this year because we sold out last year so we increased it and we sold out of even the increase block for this year so that means people are coming to Orlando that's really exciting uh and and but so we we increased it but we of course didn't want to just get a whole ton of rooms and not be able to meet that contract so there is a limited amount of room so if you know someone that does not have a room please tell them to make sure tonight that they book their rooms right away because I believe that uh by next week or or by the weekend the small allotment of rooms will be gone and once those rooms are gone uh we're not sure if we'll be able to get any more rooms at that hotel we'll probably have to look at other hotels get that room so that you can make sure that you're uh at this year's homecoming convocation when you see the speaker list you're going to absolutely love it uh we're using some of the greatest preachers in the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ um and we have a few guests as well but you will be blessed by that you'll be blessed by the concert you'll be blessed by the banquet and most of all you'll be blessed by the training of the um uh the homecoming training uh and the social justice training you're going to love it I promise you the program committee is working very hard to make sure I can't tell you what it is now but they're doing something really special for people who register go that will only be available for people who register go I promise you you're going to you're going to enjoy that it's only for people who register go um it's it's and and I promise you you'll thank me uh for um suggesting that you register go well listen I already register go and Pastor said just would impress upon you not to do to try to do it as early as possible because again there are some things that we're doing for people who are registered gold uh and we need to know those numbers uh and you don't want to be left out of the number people who pre-register goal will have access um will it'll give us a very clear number of how we need to plan for those gold folks uh so so we need you to do that we need you to do that I I would I would ask for you if you can to make sure that you do that um that would that would help us out a great deal I also wanted to point out um for those of our seniors who need scooters listen yes um anyone who comes to the Rosen Shingle Creek know that you get your steps in you you're definitely going to get 10,000 steps in if you're at the roen Shingle Creek um and so we want to make sure that if you need a scooter don't be afraid to say I need a scooter you need to go ahead and register to get a scooter now uh the information for the scooters have been sent out eblast they're also on our Facebook page they're also on our website all that information is there go and make sure that you get the information for your scooters because the scooters run low quickly because you know Church of our Lord Jesus Christ is not the only folks renting scooters um and so you want to make sure that you that you need a scooter uh if you need a scooter make sure you get a scooter listen don't be ashame of a scooter Because by the time the convention is over you know um uh Tracy may want to ride in the scooter right sister Tracy that's correct never know it is a lot of walking so a lot walk please go ahead it listen we see a lot of our um delegates that are in scooters and it is okay do not feel ashamed like Bishop stated to get your scooter listen you GNA have to leave on your own you gonna be sore your feet going to be tight go ahead just go ahead and get your scooter and you'll get around a little faster than us absolutely absolutely listen have to move on to the to the banquet but I just wanted to just throw out two quick important things that I think is really important uh we have need for ushers uh at the convocation and so um Dr Gloria Lee who is listen if you go in the dictionary right now certainly if it's not in the the uh Webster dictionary it's got to be in the Urban Dictionary if you look under Usher Gloria's Lee picture will be right there I promise you uh but sister Gloria Lee um she needs ushers and so if any of you would like to Usher at the convocation and you know we try to do something a little special sister Gloria Lee Dr Gloria Lee she's from Charleston South Carolina um well her church is in Charleston South Carolina she's a Wonder Usher even if you don't know how to Usher I promise you she will train you on how to be a great Usher and so we need more ushers of course we pray you've got a spirit you know the right spirit because you know one of the things that that is really important to me is that everyone is treated kindly and with respect and so Dr Lee uh trains her folks and so as long as you have the right temperament this could be a great way for you to serve the International Church uh in doing so the other area that we need some help is um recently our presiding Apostle appointed uh lady Jacquelin Bishop as the head of the uh Allied Health Professionals for the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ and so she is uh taken over uh from Professor Haywood gill who did an outstanding job for many many years um um since I was a kid Professor Gil has been doing uh uh Health stuff with the church of our Lord Jesus Christ but uh lady car uh lady Jacqueline Bishop is now the new person over it but she needs nurses and health professionals to help her along the way uh to be a part of the Allied Health professional so if you have someone in your church um even if you're not a a a a you know a a a nurse or you know if you just have um some medical training that that can do some basic things perhaps all you can do is be in the nurse's office and log in people as they come that's something that she needs but she needs people to serve along with her and and she can be reached what God is going to do I'm believing God for a great move of God during this holy convocation homecoming the year of social justice I'm believe in God for great things ladies wonderful so are we bishop and we're so excited just to get back together with the Saints in one place on one Accord about to just have a time in the Lord so we're excited and I think the delegates are excited at this decide that you love it so please if you know any ushers in your local church or in your dasis in your region in another church tag them on tonight and let them know we need them again you don't have to commit fully to every night and every service but but if you just do one night that would be amazing and even one service we would be grateful and she would be extremely grateful just to have you so again our ushers we need you we need you we need you and we're encouraging youth please though I'm not playing with Pastor Fields tonight but I will Usher if she needs help I don't mind serving at all but listen we're encouraging you I think that's something we talked about in one of our calls that we would love to see our youth ushering during our holy convocation and so if you have youth that Usher on that fifth Sunday fourth Sunday in your church come on train them at the holy convocation it's gonna be phenomenal because the holy convocation is for everybody yes listen right now the these past three or four years but I've been enjoying it and I'm excited too about our upcoming banquet uh we get a chance to dress up I mean put on our bow tie ladies can put on their gowns and we're going to have a wonderful time and I feel the excitement in the air uh Bishop Wilkins got me all stirred up yeah this is gonna be something else Tuesday night the 23d uh we're opening up with a formal banquet to kick off everything um we're inviting those who were part of us in our past and you know family is family no matter where you go where you move we're still family uh and we're asking everyone to come back and join us in this celebration before we kick off before we start our uh convention on Wednesday uh but I'm looking for people to come from all over uh put on their bow ties that their dinner jackets and sit at the table uh and let's have a good time I'm I'm remembering the passage of scripture where David uh he separated the peace offering and he gave it to the congregation and told them to sit down and eat but while you're eating testify to one another of how the Lord has kept his word to you how he's blessed you remember the Covenant he says that was given to Abraham and Isaac and Jacob so we're going to sit down and reminisce and remember and be grateful for where the Lord has brought us from and we're planning uh for about 350 guests now we're hoping more will come uh but we're planning for 350 and we are uh going to be giving out 10 Legacy Awards uh our presider with his vision he wants to remember our Apostolic Heritage uh and reach back and honor those who were once with us that worked diligently uh and not just dishonoring those who have left us and have been working hard uh whatever Reformation the Lord has uh brought them to but those who are here in cool JC who have been working diligently over the years uh not just seniors but we have some youth that have been working hard you ladies have been working hard uh sometimes I get tired just watching you you know I'm an old man now I'm not as young as I used to be uh but he wants to recognize those people so we'll be recognizing them and of course uh the food is going to be good little bit of salmon and chicken of course we can't leave out the gospel bird but we're going to have a wonderful time and um our Apostle the foreign Mission Apostle Matthew Norwood has retired and we want to take some time to honor and acknowledge his contribution he has worked diligently um I was born and raised in cool JC uh and as long as I can remember Apostle Matthew Norwood has been working hard in the foreign field and uh it is sad it's a sad feeling of course uh but he's worked hard and he deserves uh to be able to take his rest and still be alive you know what I mean and we're going to honor him that night his family's coming out the Norwoods I know if nobody else comes the Norwoods will be at that banquet uh to recognize all that Apostle Norwood has done for this organization and for the body of Christ and of course if you all want to take pictures uh I know everybody that night is going to be picture ready um brother James Johnson and the we photograph there to take your picture um and I'm I'm excited I just can't say enough and musically uh we have a wonderful music department idma uh will'll be singing and rendering the music and we have a special invited guest uh Miss Kathy Taylor that recording artist will be with us uh she will be I don't want to use performing she going to be ministering that night yes I know it's a banquet but we're still the church and she's going to be ministering and listen just because you have a gown on and a tuxedo if you feel like shouting get up and shout put the fork put the fork down first I don't want you to stick nobody all right and go on in shout a while but we have a special invited guest Miss Kathy Taylor she'll will be ministering and tickets will uh go on sale beginning Thursday the 9th uh so please get your tickets uh we're looking forward to the Celebration and the fellowship uh I can't wait now I hope you ladies got your gowns you ready you know what you're wearing well not quite Bishop depending upon what package you select for um you and your family absolutely and she did mention tonight about the upgrade so if you want to start at the standard and then upgrade later that is an option she just said please just reach out to her we are flexible I'm telling you I've seen registration do wonders so don't feel just reach out that's the only thing I can encourage you to do that's right so Tracy I know Bishop um Apostle Fields mentioned about honoring Our Heritage and our Legacy and so we're doing that during a legacy walk um that we have and there's information already out on social media you want to talk briefly about this absolutely so the Legacy walk is a great way to honor any past or current individuals that you feel are making a contribution to the Church of our Lord please confirm that information with him yes and His email is on the flyer as sister Tracy mentioned earlier um as well okay District of the willly shop well call them find somebody tell them go ahead and more vendors for the men the men are looking for suits ties listen they want they need the vendor men if you know a boutique or store someone that is selling men apparel and items listen they want you at this holy convocation and yes the banners will be given to you to take home so yes yes yes if you are the person that purchased the banner you will be taking that home or if you are the designated person to take that Banner home you will be taking that Banner home with you all right well Tracy anything else we're missing I think we shared a lot for the first live we a lot we said we time so this year if you're registering yourself most packets come with those two free youth come on and bring them with you there's going to be plenty of things for the young people to do Sister Kim
