[Applause] [Music] [Music] hi guys it's me here welcome to my channel and welcome to cooking 101 today we're going to make foxy Oh adobo na vamoose milk fish and I have my fish here it's already clean and chopped up these are big milk fish you guys see anyhow for the ingredients for today's cooking 101 I have here 2 red onions some ginger they're 5 cloves of garlic chopped and I only put three pieces of the Thai chili because my sister when it's too spicy she won't be able to eat the dish so and then I have here 2 lemons peppercorn bay leaves chicken broth seasoning salt I have some soy sauce vinegar cooking oil and of course I'm adding some eggplant so the first thing we're going to do guys is we're going to saute all of our ingredients so I'll show you guys how to do it your friends over here I have my big wok here I'm making the our a dish for tonight here in my big wok so this way you guys can see what's going on inside this otherwise if I'm going to use my sorry I'm just trying to make my camera even like pina there you go ok so because if I'm going to use like a pot on cooking this you guys won't be able to see what's inside and I know I have a couple of complaints in the past that you know some of our subscribers were saying that me I couldn't see what you guys what you are doing so that's why anyhow okay I think our cooking oil is hot enough so we're going to start with the [Music] next do they see it let me just move a little bit more there you go next we're going to do the onions the onions on the first one I mean I meant garlic and then onions and ginger so we're just going to sustain okay guys the next thing we're going to do is we're going to put our eggplant because the fish they're so easy to add our bay leaves and peppercorn black peppercorn or the whole black pepper so we're going to use the eggplant as a blanket so this way when we cook the fish it won't stick at the bottom okay before we put the fish let's season this okay one tablespoon of the Knorr chicken broth I'm using the seasoning salt which I'm running out of it but I'm gonna buy tomorrow so I I forgot to turn on the camera so I added one cup of soy sauce and one cup of vinegar and we're also going to add one cup of water so the ratio is 1 1 1 and we're going to give this a mix now we're going to add our Thai chili if you guys want more spicier or if you want more spicy then just add the time add more of the Thai chili but for me I just added 3 pieces this should have a little kick because my sister when it's too spicy she won't be able to eat the food or even just a little bit spicy she was having a hard time to eat the food so I only add 3 and now we're going to put our fish fish is on top like this and we're just going to let this one simmer ok guys these are big milk fish you guys for those of you that are non Filipino when we eat milk fish the best part of this fish is the tummy because of all these fats you guys see these fats here see how big this this fat here okay liquid try to show you see how big the fat is so this is the belly of the fish and one of the best this is the best part of the milk fish I told you guys this fish is so huge we bought this one in Chinatown show you guys here see how big is the how how thick is the fat and that's the best part all right so I'm just gonna cover it up with a lid so and we're going to let this one simmer alright so I'll show you guys the next step okay friends let's check our fish look at that you guys smell so good you guys the next thing we're going to do we're going to add some lemons on it lemon is always good you guys hold on my tripod is not straight alright then so we're going to add lemon so for this for this dish adding two little lemons cut it in half and that's what I'm squeezing right now the last time I added some lemon on the ingredients one of our subscribers asked me to that if the stones or the seeds from the lemon is added to a dish does it make the dish better and the answer to that is no would it make a difference anyway but this time I'm trying to not to include the seeds you guys mmm smells so good my goodness right so this is the last level that we're going to squeeze and that's it all right so what is going to give it a little bit of mix and putting that sauce on top of the fish this is my dad's favorite dish and mind you everybody here at home let's try the sauce okay let me show you guys the closer you oh good you guys it's really good so I'll just going to let this one simmer okay yeah okay skin see okay friends now we're going to
