[Music] welcome back to my channel today's video is going to be a little bit different I'm doing a cooking marathon for you guys the first time I've ever done anything like this on my channel I just took the recipe portion out of some of my older videos and put them all into one I can definitely go even further back if you guys like videos like this and just make another cooking marathon later on so yeah let me know if you like videos like this and let's get [Music] started by now you guys know that I love to share my recipes with you guys I found this one off of Tik Tok as always it's called garlic butter chicken and rice and this was so so good so you're going to take some chicken thighs season them however you like I used AP seasoning which is pretty much salt and pepper and then smoked paprika onion powder and garlic powder I mixed it up really really well and we're going to throw the chicken in a pan with some oil and cook them until they're done [Music] when your chicken is done you're going to cut it up and put it to the side and then you're going to chop one bell pepper and an onion add it to those same juices in that pan along with 1 to 2 tablespoons of butter then you're going to add some Cajun seasoning some Sasson and then 2 cups of washed white rice [Music] once everything is mixed well you're going to add four cups of chicken broth and you're going to let that cook for about 15 [Music] minutes last thing we're going to do is make a simple butter sauce you're going to get one stick of butter chop up a couple of garlic cloves add in some par or thyme melt all of that and then you're going to pour it over your entire dish once you add your chicken onto your rice once the rice is done and that is it it was so so good you guys are not going to be disappointed with this one try out if you do let me [Music] know right so for dinner we're going to be making crispy tacos and this is the best crispy taco recipe I have ever made and it's super easy the majority of the ingredients you're going to need you're going to need some cooked chicken I like to use rotisserie chicken at least two large potatoes but since I had a bunch of these small ones I just used almost all of these small ones I have a can of diced tomatoes and tortillas so you're going to want to boil your potatoes you can peel them after they've been boiled but I just went ahead and peeled them and threw them in the water I did cut them so that they cook a little bit faster here are all of my seasonings that I'm going to be using go ahead and add garlic salt to that next you're going to shred your chicken and set that to the side all right so so now that I have all of my chicken shredded I'm still waiting on the potatoes to finish boiling you want to make sure your potatoes are soft enough to mash once that's done we're going to add our chicken to our mashed potatoes along with all of these ingredients seasonings and then we're going to start building our tacos after all of your potatoes are mashed go ahead and add in all of your chicken all of your seasonings and your can of tomatoes [Music] now you're just going to mix it well and it's supposed to look a little something like this you're going to heat your tortillas up in the microwave for a few seconds you're going to add some cheese down you're going to put your filling on top of the cheese and add a little bit more cheese on top and then close [Music] them [Music] now you're going to heat your oil of choice I use avocado oil and you're going to put them in there just long enough for them to get crispy so maybe 2 or 3 minutes on each side and take them out and then start on your knit batch [Music] we had these with a side of salsa and sour cream it was so good you guys will not be here is the end result of what we're going to be making for tonight's dinner and believe it or not this is about a 30 minute meal so it's not going to take long called creamy cajun chicken meatballs and I'm going to split it up into two parts because the little one has gymnastics later on tonight so I'm just going to make the meatballs right now and then refrigerate them because it is pretty early in the day still and then all I have to do later on after we come back from gymnastics is create the creamy sauce that it's going to go in so the first thing I'm going to do is sauté some onion because that's what's needed for the meatball mixture so don't worry I am going to tell you you guys what all I'm putting in here step by step in a [Music] second so this is another Tik Tock recipe I'm going to take 2 lbs of ground chicken two eggs 1 cup of breadcrumbs or panko breadcrumbs some paprika Cajun seasoning on onion powder garlic powder and salt pepper and then once the onions are done sautéing I'm going to add that into the meat mixture as well combine everything and create [Music] meatballs [Music] [Music] ahahahahahahahahah [Music] I had to switch to a larger pen so now my foil is all jacked up but it still works actually really good on its own so you don't necessarily have to continue on with the recipe if you just want to use these meatballs maybe put it with spaghetti they're really flavorful and the original Creator said this in her Tik Tok you could freeze them ahead of time which is such a great idea especially if you're a busy family and you don't always have time to throw a meal together these are also good for lunch boxes as well [Music] make sure your oven is set to 400 and I put these in there for about 20 [Music] minutes every time I handle raw meat anywhere in my kitchen I always use my lysu spray and let that sit for 1 to 2 minutes and then wipe it down [Music] the meatballs are done and they are looking good I'm going to let them cool before I put them in the fridge write this down because now we're going to make the sauce where our meatballs are going to go into really this part is super quick especially if you pre- chopped everything beforehand I didn't do that I didn't even think about doing that I'm chopping 16 oz of of cherry tomatoes I did a handful of garlic maybe five or six cloves I am going to cut up one small onion um and then you're going to need a little bit of olive oil a couple tablespoons of butter add that to your pot let it melt and then everything we just chopped up we're going to add that to the [Music] pot [Music] so this is where you would add in fresh basil I forgot to pick it up at the grocery store but I just added in some parsley instead once your onions and tomatoes are pretty much cooked down add a half a cup of chicken broth when that starts to simmer add in two cups of heavy whipping [Music] cream here's where you're going to start adding in your seasonings you can season this however you like but I just added in everything that I added into the meatballs so onion powder garlic powder white pepper Cajun seasoning salt and pepper and then give that a good stir let it simmer and then add in some Parmesan cheese coming to the end here all you're going to do now is add in about 14 ounces of spinach when that's cooked down add your meatballs back into the sauce give it a good stir let it simmer if your meatballs were cold beforehand make sure they're nice and warm serve it with some mashed potatoes we did rice today and it was so good the kids loved it now if the kids weren't eating this I would have definitely added a bunch of red pepper flakes to the sauce so we just added that to our plates separately along with some more Parmesan [Music] cheese I'm going to be making salsbery steak or hamburger steak whatever you want to call it the kids love this meal and those mashed potatoes that I showed you guys earlier from Aldi I'm going to be using that in tonight's [Music] meal all right to start you're going to cut one onion in half save the rest for later you're going to dice your onion really small and you're going to add that to 2 lbs of ground beef added some pepper some garlic powder seasoned salt paprika and Wisher [Music] sauce mix everything really good and then start creating your patties I am going to be putting these in the oven this time but I kind of wish I put them on the stove I was trying something new this time was a little bit dry for me but it was still really good by the way I did wash my hands before I put the patties in the oven I just can't stand having meat on my hands and then touching other things so I wash my hands I put the patties in the oven and now I'm just going to sanitize the countertop I know I know [Music] you after your patties are finished cooking you're going to set set that to the side add in whatever scrapings from the bottom of that pan where the patties were cooking into a skillet along with maybe a cup of beef broth then your onions I added mushrooms to [Music] mine so after you let that simmer for a while you're going to add in three cups of beef broth and then I made a cornstarch and water mixture to thicken it up a little bit but you can definitely just add in some flour if you wanted to I guess I didn't record this part but add your patties back into the gravy mixture let that simmer for a bit and then serve it it was so good we make this all the time it's definitely on our rotation um we served it with mashed potatoes and corn but you can definitely do it with rice [Music] too so I'm going to be making firecracker ground chicken bowls tonight for dinner so I'm taking some buff buffalo sauce as the base of my sauce a little garlic a little bit of vinegar some soy sauce a little bit of honey and some brown sugar mix that really well in the meantime you are cooking your ground chicken in your pan I did add some steamed broccoli to my ground chicken once you make your sauce and your ground chicken is cooked all the way through add your sauce Stir It Up and you are done it was actually really really good it wasn't as spicy because we did add the honey and brown sugar to kind of cancel out some of that spice I only added in a little bit at a time because I didn't want to be too spicy for the kids but it was so good we served it with white rice and a side of the cucumber kimchi that I made [Music] [Music] earlier love to share a recipe when I find a good one and this one is a slightly different take on a chicken pop pie so what you're going to need is a rotisserie chicken two cans of cream of chicken a stick of butter peas and carrots a box of the Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits and some chicken broth go ahead and dice up that entire rotisserie chicken and melt your stick of butter add the chicken to a bowl add a little bit of your butter to the chicken and the rest to a baking dish the separate Bowl add your two cans of cream of chicken soup fill up one of those cans with some chicken broth and add it to the mixture and Stir It Up real good until it's nice and creamy once it's mixed really well you're going to add maybe a little less than half of that to your chicken you're going to save the rest for the last step for the biscuit mix you're just going to follow the directions on the back of the box and then we're going to start layering add your chicken first then you're going to add in your frozen peas and carrots your biscuit mix and then your cream of chicken [Music] mix add some cheese on the top then you're going to bake it at 375 for 45 [Music] minutes if your guests are traveling far to get to your house to visit they might appreciate a nice hearty Comfort meal so that you don't have to worry about going out to eat when they get to your house you already have something on hand or it'll be good for the next day's lunch this is a perfect meal to reheat cuz it tastes even better the next day this is called meatball stew and it's a traditional Louisiana meal I think um I take one pound of ground beef one pound of ground sausage some bread crumbs onion powder garlic powder pepper Cajun seasoning Wisher sauce and an egg you're going to mix everything up really well and then you're going to form however many meatballs you [Music] want once your meatballs are formed you're going to add them to a pot with oil and brown them on each side you're not going to cook them all the way through yet after a couple minutes and they're brown on each side you're just going to remove [Music] them to those same juices you're going to add in bell pepper onion and celery cook it until they're done after they're done you're going to add in some garlic and some potatoes and Rue if you don't have a rue you can make your own or you can buy jar Ru um it's really easy to make you can just look it up and after that that you're going to add 32 oz of beef broth and 32 oz of water make sure you guys are seasoning to taste as well I did add in some Cajun seasoning to the sauteed vegetables but after you add in your liquid put your meatballs back into the pot and let this cook for at least an hour we also added in some boiled eggs to the mixture to let it cook and it was just so good we serve it over rice with veggies on the side and salad this is just a perfect little hosting meal on dinner and we're going to be making a chicken and barley soup this is going to be the first time trying out this recipe I've never actually cooked with barley before but I do like it so here we go this recipe came from a Creator on Tik Tok I will have her name linked Down Below in case you want to check her out I love her recipes so with this recipe I'm going to be using a rotisserie chicken but you can definitely cook your own chicken beforehand but you're going to need carrots celery an onion some garlic red pepper flakes thyme bay leaves parmesan cheese 8 cups of chicken stock white Kandy beans one cup of barley a lemon fresh dill if you like deal like that um you need some kale salt and pepper olive oil and then some grated Parmesan [Music] cheese [Music] [Music] [Music] oh to a dutch oven add some olive oil in my case I'm using avocado oil and then you're going to add your carrots your celery onions and then you're going to add your garlic after your veggies are pretty much cooked [Music] down here's where you're going to add your red pepper flakes if you want to use red pepper flakes I'm not because of the kids but once your veggies are cooked they're nice and soft add your chicken and then you're going to add like a big chunk of Parmesan cheese two bay leaves all of your chicken broth and then your can of kidney beans that you've already drained and [Music] rinsed once everything is boiling add your barley cover it and cook it on low for 20 minutes once your 20 minutes are up you're going to add juice of one lemon three big handfuls of kale and some fresh deal by any chance did you put seeds lemon stir it and let your Kale Cook down for a minute and you are done remember to season it as you go I do salt and pepper and cajun seasoning but you can do whatever you like you can top off with some fresh grated Parmesan cheese and some more deal and it is so good all right guys that wraps up today's video I hope you guys try out one of these recipes comment down below which one you're
