did you know you can turn your website into an app in about two minutes using nativenotify.com it's not possible no it's necessary don't believe me i'm going to turn a website into an app in two minutes using nativenotify.com don't forget to like and subscribe let's get started your first step is to go to nativenotify.com click the sign up free button it's free to sign up there's no credit card required that should take you to a page like this you'll want to click this create an app button click website to app that'll take you to this page you'll want to make sure you have node.js installed on your computer if you don't already you can click this link here to install node.js you'll also want a code editor installed on your computer visual studio code is a good one it's what we'll be using in this video if you don't have it already you can click this link here to download visual studio all right we're going to turn a website into an app in two minutes let's start the timer your first step is to paste the website url you would like to turn into an app in this input here step two is to open up a terminal and paste this into the terminal replace this your app name with the name of your app click return and that will start creating your app sometimes expo will ask what kind of app you would like if it does ask that just select the first option that says blank if it doesn't ask you that you can go ahead and move on step three open up your new app folder slash directory in visual studio code you can open up visual studio code click file open to find your file click open it should look something like this step 4 click view at the top of your visual studio code screen then click terminal in the drop down that will open up a terminal at the bottom of your visual studio code step 5 copy all of these paste them into your terminal press return or enter step 6 open up your app.js file at the root of your new app it should look something like this step 7 delete all the code in your app.js file and replace it with this code here paste your code in here and your app is already built you've officially already turned your website into an app let's see how long that took it looks like we have some more time let's actually see what the app looks like to see what the app looks like you can click this link here you can download this app called expo go it'll let you see your app on your actual phone to see what your app looks like you can say npx expo start in your visual studio terminal it'll open up something like this if you want to see it on an android phone you'll need to scan this code right here if you want to open it on an ios phone you should follow the instructions in the app i'm going to open up my phone on an android emulator on my computer so you can see what it looks like if you would like to do that you'll need to download android studio in order to create an android emulator i've already done that if you have one open you can just click a in your terminal and it'll open up your app in your emulator so as you can see this is the nativenotify.com website and now it's officially become an app it comes with a notification inbox here which once we send notifications to ourselves they'll show up here now that our app is open let's go ahead and send ourselves a push notification so step three this is my test title this is my test message let's send ourselves a push notification and there it is there's the push notification so there you go that's how you can turn a website into an app in two minutes using nativenotify.com let me know in the comments below do you like that it only takes two minutes to create an app or do you wish it took longer don't forget to subscribe if you like videos like this thanks for watching see you next time
