Convenience Store 🧃 | The Sims 4 - Speed Build (NO CC)

foreign [Music] hello and welcome back to a new video on my channel my name is Sarah and today I am back with another Sims 4 Speed Build and today's build is really really exciting because I had so much fun building it and I thought it was a really cool idea I've been having this idea in my head for quite some time and I finally decided to do it so I'm gonna build like a community kind of lot and it's going to be a convenience store I guess I don't know how you say it it's like a supermarket grocery store convenience store I don't know um yeah that's basically what it is and I had so much fun building it so I built it in Del Sol Valley because I thought it just fits there pretty well I don't know I think I really like this like Town Vibes that you get but it's not like super um Big City kind of it's more like I don't know I really like the warm feeling that you have in Del Sol Valley with like all the palm trees and everything and I yeah I just really like the environment there so I decided to build it on a 30 by 30 lot in this um world and I decided to go for a more tropical theme I guess on this Supermarket I started off with like a green and orange color theme and I wanted to do it like in a 7-Eleven kind of style but I decided not to do that later on in the video and changed everything up a little bit um I um I will stick to the orange but I will change the green later to more like more like a blue color as you probably saw from the thumbnail I think it just works so well together the orange and the blue color I think it's just so pretty and I also used the new windows and the new door that we got with the greenhouse kit I don't know the name of it but it's with the greenhouse stuff and I just thought it would fit there so perfectly so I decided to use um yeah the new windows and the new door for the shop front um which is basically the only place where I used like the windows and the door and um I also created like this little sign there on the outside you would see me change a lot of stuff because I had um yeah I it took me some time to figure out how I wanted the layout to be and how I wanted the design to be um and yeah I got really inspired looking on pictures on Supermarkets online and I I think it's just such a cool idea I mean we don't really have a gameplay for like grocery stores in the game but I thought this could still be like a retail for your Sims to either like play in or to visit and buy stuff uh probably not groceries but other stuff that I put in there as well and um yeah there are a lot of different other things that you can buy there there's like a bathroom section and the gardening section and um yeah I think there's plenty of stuff that your Sims can buy from there um even though we don't really have a grocery function I don't remember which some um it was but I think it was in The Sims 2 or in The Sims 3 where you can order like groceries I think that was really cool you could order groceries from your the fridge I think somehow and I think that was really cool um but in The Sims 4 there's no need to order or buy groceries because you basically have everything that you need in your fridge automatically so but I thought this would still be a cool yeah a cool place to go there's like a big parking lot or it's probably not a big parking lot it's like a rather small parking lot it looks a little bit bigger than it is but I don't know there are like three parking spaces or something like this and um there's also a little area for the shopping carts that I think would be cute I already used this shopping cart thing in my Ikea build that I did several years ago if you haven't seen it you should definitely check it out it was a huge build it was so much fun to do and I also build it in Del Sol Valley I don't know I like really like the tropical Vibes so that's what I went with when I built this Supermarket um like palm trees and I made it really colorful with like really popping colors and yeah I thought it would be such a great combination and it doesn't look like super boring or anything so um as you can see here I'm changing the color to like a bluish color I think it looks really really pretty and here you can see me also planning out the parking lot I decided later on to get rid of the parking in the front and only put it on the side but there's also like a little space for your bicycles to for your Sims to put their bicycles as well if you go shopping with your bike which is also an option and um I also made like a little um um little like bathtub area I think I think that's also really cool I really like building bus stops I don't know why but I think it just makes everything so realistic to have like a little bus stop there so you can also travel there by public transportation which is really useful and um yeah I just tried to make it realist as realistic as possible and it was a lot of work to be honest like especially on the inside so I didn't really record every single thing that I did on the inside because I was just basically filling up all those shelves with stuff especially like tiny items and this took me a pretty long time so I did not record every single thing that I put in those shelves because it just was really it just really took me a long time to do so I hope you don't mind that too much but um there's a lot of like shelves with different drinks and uh soda and stuff like that I think it's really cool we got those soda bottles from the Eco lifestyle pack they look really good in a supermarket and I also put like some vending machines on the outside and basically like try to fill everything else little corner there on the outside of the shop to make it look really um yeah really realistic and to make it look like a real Supermarket I guess or convenience store I don't still don't know how to call it let me know how you call it this is like a supermarket is it a convenience store is there a difference I don't know I have to be honest like in Germany I would say probably like Supermarket or something like that so um yeah let me know what you would call it I don't know what I'm going to call it in the end and what I'm going to put in the uh video title uh you will see that and I also put this like radio car on the on the parking lot I didn't don't know why it doesn't make any sense but it just fits the Colors theme so well so I decided to put it there and I think it kind of looks really fun and I also place like a car in front of the supermarket so like pretending someone is um I don't know stopping there and the passenger is like going inside and buying something really quick and coming back outside to um get back into the car I thought that would be a good idea and make it even more realistic and yeah I hope you enjoy this video it's pretty long so even though I did not include every single detail it's still got pretty long because there's a lot of detail going on and I still wanted to make sure that you can see the basic things that I do and not um you have to miss out on anything so it's a pretty long video it's probably like half an hour or something so um I still hope
