Contrail Overview

hey I'm the network guy you know the one responsible for connecting hundreds of applications thousands of employees and who knows how many servers that was me a couple months ago I was the guy who always had to say no but I wasn't the problem it was the technology sorry that's not the way it works next week you're kidding right sure thing I'll just jump in my time machine and then a new protocol and have it ready in the purse guys ouch but like I said things are different now our company has a whole new vocabulary including words like flexible dynamic automated cloud architecture and my new favorite rapid business delivery what do I mean check this out used to be every change made in a virtual environment created a bunch of complexity with our physical network then I started reading up on Sdn how you automate provisioning of virtual networks to enable changes in seconds it's about enabling an open cloud architecture that seamlessly ties together physical and virtual assets and because it works with my existing infrastructure we save a ton of money it all starts with juniper contrail it's fast its scalable but you want to know the best part it's open so the cloud services we're already using no problem OpenStack cloud stack it's open to any stack you've got we're talking about an automated cloud architecture that enables any to any connectivity any device any hypervisor any cloud it's totally open so now when I see my buddies and software development it's all high-fives I get their stuff out quicker on a network that has never run better thanks to faster connections and way better troubleshooting diagnostics and security with contrail we get better automation and orchestration the ties together our physical and virtual resources like never before administering our data center is way simpler now and because contrail is open I don't have worried about getting stuck with a proprietary solution best of all our company is more agile than ever before so we can offer new services and attract more customers yep things are way different now it's like I'm working in a totally different office the CEO even knows my name I gotta say I really like being the guy who gets to say yes and I'm on it and no problem already done I'd like to tell you more but I got a run we've got a new service spinning up today and I don't want to miss the rollout party contrail from Juniper Networks [Music] you
