[Music] so pastor Karen we've been talking about content in prayer and what I wanna hear you talk about is the journey you went through when you were standing on go to word and everything was opposite to everything God said to you how you deal with that emotionally how you dealt with that in prayer you know because I think many people think because God has spoken everything just changed in that moment and it'll be they'll be great for us to hear how are you contended in prayer with the Word of God in the midst of all the things going on around it well you know very very intentional focus in prayer I set myself to be honest with you to lay aside every other distraction in my life as much as possible I mean I've got to go on with living and carrying on daily duties and functions in life but the priority of my life was to stay focused on hearing what God was telling me and to be honest with you prayer was my survival because I was devastated the pain of seeing your child just turn to someone else and seeing their lives headed for what you know is destruction and yet you feel powerless in the natural to do anything about it you're only the only hope you have is God or just accept this disaster so I just began to seek God every day James I would be at Walmart grocery store you know what I would do at Walmart I would hold my phone to my ear and because I really wasn't wanting to be distracted with just with meaningless conversation so I would help my phone to my ear while I was getting groceries and I would just talk to God on my telephone as though you were listening on the other end because he was whenever I came home when I couldn't sleep you know there's no need to just sit up and worry no get up and pray I would pray and pray I would go outside and walk the driveway in prayer Oh throughout the day every day as much as I could just pray and pray and we're also finding someone you can agree with and he's important now what was the content of those prayers how were you praying what were you saying were you just groaning where you you know how did you approach the situation in prayer do you remember you know that the word is so beautiful that the Holy Spirit the Bible says is is the intercessor through us with groanings that cannot be uttered when I was hurting so bad I couldn't hardly stand the pain yes those groans of the Spirit and seeking God for declaring his word is the number one thing I probably did is opening this Bible in fact all through it I was reading it this morning and remembering all these places I've underlined taking this Bible and letting it become a voice off the page you know when you read this book this is not just words on pages these this is a voice speaking off of this page you read it until a word speaks to your spirit and gives you out then you take that word I love this one look at look at this James it says I this is updated it that way that's in the middle of the fire that date and it says here I will wait quietly before the Lord for my victory comes from him he alone is my rock and salvation my fortress where I will never be shaken and I would take those promises and declare Lord you are my victory for my daughter I declare I will not be shaken by the news that I have heard today you are my foundation and just decreed that word oh I love the promises in Ezekiel that says he would take out that heart of rebellion and give them it take out that hard stony stubborn heart and give them a heart that is tender you know what I did I've never told anybody this except my prayer partner ever told this publicly I wouldn't have bought white play-doh because I wanted Lindsey's heart to be white and pure and pliable so whenever I would pray sometimes I would do things prophetically one and I would take that white play-doh and when I prayed I would just just hold that play-doh and make it pliable in my hand declaring Lindsey's heart will not be hard and rebellious her heart would be pure and white and pliable in the hands God who I may cry Plato it just praise God make her heart dinner and soft and pliable hear your word and whatever God told me to do sometimes I would stand on top of a hill and outside of my house I would just climb the hill and to create a word of God to my daughter Oh let me read you one scripture I believe this scripture and it was true and it will work for those that are listening it says this it says that we are God's ambassadors you listen to this James we are Christ's ambassadors to mothers that are watching right now to fathers that are watching you are Christ ambassador look at this God is making his appeal through us James God is making his appeal through us we speak for Christ when we plead come back to God so how did I pray I use scriptures like that it says we speak for Christ when we plead come back to God so I'd go to the front door of my house I would open that door Lindsay lived in another town and I would just lead for Christ interceding through me Lindsay come back to God Lindsay come back to God and I'm in I'm in Hamilton Alabama she's another city but there's no distance along come on when you speak the Word of God there's such light on the word and angels ministering spirits are released at the power of God in the word and you speak the Word of God you're releasing angels to go and the Spirit of God to go and surround them in prayer and surround them with his spirit that I'm telling you James I would decree knowing it was the will of God that every wrong relationship in her life was destroyed every wrong friendship she had was destroyed every voice speaking to her life against the will of God every wrong influence would be destroyed and God did it James because it was his will now when can you talk us through when you started praying like that and when the breakthrough finally manifested because I think it's good people understand the journey it wasn't like you declared it today and it happened the next day now that does happen sometimes but the times we need to understand the process and the journey how long was this process well it was over two years over to eat every day and every day there were times when you would declare the word like that in prayer and Herot really bad reports that same day that same day how did you deal with that it got from bad to worse and then it would get from worse to worse Wow and you just you just couldn't believe it and James at the end I mean it was hard there at the end I did not understand but I tell you this at the very end one of the hardest battles I had was God I do not understand because it looks like everything you've promised me the opposite has happened and I haven't believed your word and at the very end I remember one of the last prayers I prayed before she came home was just to be honest with you just screaming in prayer why God why and where are you I was on a dowel prayer I told God James I said I'm not asking where you are because I'm angry at you I'm asking where you are because I believe him yeah I believe you and I told God I remember something moved into me when I said it what if you do not tell me that she's never come into this marriage will never live if you don't say that to me but I'm still gonna believe everything you've said to Wow and I remember when I said that the Holy Ghost said to me say Lindsay and Casey are getting back together again and I mean it was over in the natural it was over I just begin to decree what he told me to say and it was the opposite of everything I looked at oil I begin to decree that word and what is that what is that call James what does that look like it's what God does you're calling things that are not is still they though they were that's what God does and that's what he says here we're his ambassadors yeah we're on this earth decreed from heaven from heaven we decreed the will of God on the earth alone God is looking from heaven for conduits of faith to get his will through you know what I just thought about actually I think my wife and I were with you you were weak you were off the restoration and we had a prayer meeting remember that brandy it was this time we in the word that your had was embarrassed to me what actually might be worth you share in that way cuz I was amazed really and how everything just came together because we prayed with you I must say out front was the main prayer I remember that was the week that was the week of his turn it was so significant I'll tell you quick but I remember mail that word yeah we were we were talking about how the Bible says that with Lazarus and Martha remember where Lazarus was dead Martha's but she's struggling with her faith because she looks at Jesus and says Lord if you'd been here if he wouldn't have died and then Martha says two words that brings him out of the tomb she says but even now God will give you whatever you ask that was it that's all Jesus needed he didn't even need perfect faith he didn't need he just needed a little bit and he just needed two words Lord if you'd been here he wouldn't have died but even now she knew he was dead in the grave for day but even now and I was telling you and Rebecca back in that night at my house I was telling them to you James and Rebecca I believe that even now this marriage is dead but even now God will give us whatever you ask Rebecca says oh I remember a song from a friend of yours or someone you know in the UK that is called even now yeah Philippa Hammond we looked up that song remember the me yes yes yes yes it was like a direct word from God to myself okay now I must show you together in the song there's feathers falling and rubbers have been a significant prophetic picture God giving you something about this war was gonna fall just like a feather something like that and you've been holding on to that wording on to it and then we can with this song that had feathers in it it was just like it was as though God just sang just send me a song that night and it was a beautiful healing word of Hope for me to say I am answering your prayer I hear you and even now Lindsey's marriage in her life is gonna live again I'm gonna kept his word Wow remember the prayer meeting we had there standing in that room I remember that I remember the prayer I prayed with calling out to spirit oh wait can I remain it was such a significant time for me anyway I know what stigmas out for you as well but I remember some of those times because I was just blown away to hear the news of the week after how things are shifted what a lot of you to do pastor Karen is to pray for people right now because I know they're people watching that can identify where you were weathers were their children where there is only sickness in there are these father's with things they've been believing God for and what I feel is but some people have lost their fight and I've just accepted the situation and are coping with that which they should be overcoming under that which they should be over and I feel like God is stern faith as you've been speaking and I want you to just release that declaration in prayer as the Holy Spirit means absolutely and those watching too I feel like some of you are where Martha was that day Lord where have you been where have you been I've been waiting for you to get here and you didn't come like when I thought you would but your answer and your miracle is found in those two words even now I still believe even now the disappointment to question through exhaustion even now God wants to resurrect hope in you first and you first give you hope that the simple belief that things will change he wants that to live again in you so the word says if to agree on earth is touching anything they ask it will be done so you've got there's you there's me there's James most of all there's the Holy Spirit and we're agreeing with you for your miracles so father in Jesus name I know you hear us right now and Lord we touch and agree in faith there's nothing too hard for you Lord you know what to do and you're doing it and what it looks odd early impossible an hour Lazarus is dead it's not over do you say so father you say you're the resurrection and the life and I hear that word that Jesus said to Martha did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God Lord we believe and I agree with my brothers and sisters watching that today today new strength and hope is coming for them for the resurrection of their miracle in Jesus name Amen [Music] [Applause]
