Connect EC2 With VSCode SSH

to the channel my name is Mahesh karia you guys are watching me on YouTube now and in this session I'm going to take you through how to connect your vs code using ec2 or any other cloud service provider so all you have to do is you have to have an ec2 available or any machine available on the server I am going to use Ubuntu I am going to name it MK underscore SSH because we are going to use SSH client of vs code and here we go we are going to create a key pair uh for this new fresh created ec2 instance so MK underscore SSH is my name of my key pair so I'll generate this pin because I am using uh open SSH create this I got this already and now here we go you can allow this if you just wanted to allow all the ports from 80 and 443 you just need to select here that's it launch instance and here we go and in vs code you have to have a SSH available so SSH search for SSH and once you have it once you have this available all you have to do is Ctrl shift p and search for this remote SSH and connect to host okay so that's it I guess all this thing is required so add new SSH host okay and here you need to paste uh that you are going to get it from here so this thing is running already I'm going to click here and the next step would be to click here on connect make sure to grab this and open your terminal quickly and in here you all you have to do is go to uh downloads here you have this mkssh allow them to access to vs code and grab this okay go to your base code paste this here so it will add this configuration to your SSH or dot SSH Okay click here so that's it I guess host is added and you can click here on connect that's it and let me let me resize so it will be visible to you guys here we go and now click on continue it will uh access okay this but this is because of permission denied why because if I search quickly add new host okay if I click here it's going to add one the one mistake that I uh did is this is inside downloads so I need to make new connection again okay or new connect to host Okay add new host paste this and make sure to use slash your you are part of this SSH file which is inside terminal so let's go to the downloads again and hit PWD grab this and test this in print of uh this one okay let me paste this here slash now it's complete so now if I hit continue it should get connected the pre and the previously uh previous one should get should be there again so yeah I guess uh you can open new folder because I don't have any folder there so I need to create new folder so I'll just name it MK let's see uh it will create MK is not there so I'll directly open the Ubuntu which is the most parent one uh directory that I should not open once I uh so you got this all the folders and if I open my terminal so I got this connected with my actual machine okay this is how you connect to your machine all all the things that you can do here you can create your node.js app.js maybe you can create so yeah this is how it works like uh this go fast and no need to do things yeah and here you can forward the port whatever the port like on Port 3000 you are deploying something just hit enter you got Port forwarded on your localhost so if I'm doing something here let me install something sudo apt install node.js here we go so node.js is not there the package so I I need to or use update first and then you will say sudo apt update and then it will work okay here we go so yeah this is running on the server so that's it I guess for this tutorial so thank you so much all of you guys for being with me supporting me all the time it's been pleasure to be here please let me know inside comment box what you want from my site definitely I'll make it for you and don't forget to subscribe my channel if you haven't already and smash that like button if you enjoyed till then see you soon bye bye
