foreign what's up you guys FSC Trucking all right I got a good one for you today we're gonna go unload the striker we're down to block the State College Pennsylvania to TA at the exit 158 off 80. I forget the name of this town I think it's Milesburg well I'm not 100 sure we're gonna go drop off the striker at the Milesburg airport today and of course Orwell's still at home with a busted flywheel so we're running the Whitmire Express Kenworth t660. so by the way the whole world's hiring included with my Express so if you're looking for a company job doing exactly what I do if you're qualified to do what I do meaning two years flatbed over the road that truck will be available for you to drive here soon by the time you get here that Freightliner Coronado ought to be fixed too so you ought to have a pick of each which out of the truck you want by the way they also take owner operator so if you're looking for work there you go Whitmire Express West Bend Wisconsin all right enough with the plug for the truck let's get on with the striker what do we got here well they use these at the airports they're pretty badass looking it's the smaller one compared to some of the bigger ones that we've hauled this little 15 Monarch you're still a heavy boy weighing in about 38 000 pounds oh yeah there we go he's a touch over height by 13-8 pay permits it's legal boys and girls give them money it's legal for a price there you go that's my theory with it all right well this unit's going to State College airport and we owe you Penn Staters or state penners can uh well fly into the airport not worry about your plane burning down all right let's get into Kenworth and get on it I'll tell you right now though cannot wait till I get home and get Orwell back don't get me wrong it's a nice truck but I do miss mine everybody likes her own trouble more than anything else basically got off at exit 74. stay straight on East Park Avenue and then run out to Fox Hollow bigger make a right and then across the Interstate that looks so on our road looks a little sketched but that's the permanent route it's the way Pennsylvania wants me to run shut up just show me the map I don't need anything else all right I got a nice little follow me map hopefully it'll be decent I don't want the truck telling me how to go because it doesn't know the permit route and I'm not gonna learn to see if I could find out how to tell it the route so I'll do like I do with my Waze app I just don't have the phone holder on the dash so I'd rather use that instead if I had to put my phone in the cup holder but it's just not that harder directions well I got my orange juice half drink Cliff bar if I want to get a little hungry which bound to be fairly soon lights on all right no strobes all right let's get on with it you're gonna be hustle you takes a little getting used to driving this big long truck compared to Orwell Orwell has no wheelbase to it I look in the mirror and like it seems like the front of my trailer is like 100 miles away are coming trucks respect a pretty long wheelbase on them scrape the ground a little bit to be honest oh you got to go one more exit East on the highway on 80. so we can get on 99 you speed he got off here and shot straight South on 220. but then they brought 99 all the way up to the interstate so now nowadays that's fine by me don't mind 80 and hit each one exit someone got off the highway topping burst the hose or or if this is the dump truck have a crap drop out of the water have to make the turn [Music] probably what it was 150 going straight ahead yeah they still took 20. okay it's full wait up there you see it I was like am I wrong I thought it was 220. we're on here all right let's go talking about that 220 route and run you down to 99 back when 99 only got up I think as far as Altoona we're just a little north of that spread that way for years now I don't remember what year was when they changed it out but it's been a good while someone you do guys do the industry and probably what the hell is he talking about well Interstate 99 didn't run all the way from Southern Pennsylvania all the way to Interstate understand dead end and he had roads I remember right when I first started driving truck brand new to the industry uh that's when they got 40 finished I never had to take the back roadway when um didn't have 40 finished all the way out to Barstow I think it's the old-timers would have to get off I think it stopped at Flagstaff and then it was some back road where you had to go it's History X for me so I'm sure a bunch of you guys know what are not around leave a comment if you do tell us about it because I certainly ain't old enough to remember it shoot my dad was a kid you know he left across the Pennsylvania on us six I scored to here I don't know what I think for 22 what was 80 before 80 on in Pennsylvania I don't know the truck in history guys I'm just saying Steve's too early in the morning for that well depends on one you're watching it's too early in the morning for me for that kind of nonsense hold on that beeping was the GPS apparently it's got a different route it's already programmed in tell me how to get there again I don't know how to work oh it says under my little arrow no destination I don't have a camera facing it but went from a red road to a yellow Road and right here the road's going back red so only we're getting off the interstate so I may as well touch base on it now since I didn't earlier the fact that not everybody watches each and every video but today is Monday cut off day for this truck to be delivered what's really important is load get here today I loaded it Wednesday I went to the shop with with the truck trailer and load this is with Orwell of course dropped off the truck pulled Orwell inside Thursday I did a bunch of computer work editing that kind of nonsense and then when's uh sorry Friday I got in the shop started working on Orwell just take care of some knick-knack paddy whack bull crap try to straighten up from the Colossal mess I had made straightening up and looking for parts so I was doing a clutch adjustment in the afternoon and took the access cover down off of the transmission and bolt wasn't lined up so I could do my adjustment so rather than a bar the engine over I crawled out Monitor and I bumped the starter over to get into the realign the engine I bumped it once and it cranked a little bit but not quite enough bumped it once more and it made this grinding noise sounded like the the Bendix of the flywheel oh sorry the Bendix and the starter that little gear wasn't the start of the flywheel all the way like it was bumping it but not engaging you know fully meshing in that's what I thought so I'm like crap I got it I just put a starter in his truck it's not uncommon for new quality of Parts nowadays solve a problem at all push the button the same damn problem I'm like I'm liking starter it's the truck someone's got to be in there or anything in there too jamming so I stuck my head in the hole and you see a big shiny spot on the flywheel and stuck my finger in there and I pushed on the ring gear and it moved ring here at your finger I guess as the meme goes it was at this moment he knew he was F now there was no way in hell I would ever get another flywheel or Marine gear or anything fast enough quickest I would get any parts is today in fact when we unload this I have to have caterpillar look up the ring gear around here flywheel and uh I'll probably I I don't see me doing right here I just need to change um I was thinking do a ring gear but I got talked out of that real quick it didn't look all that hard shush I don't know what it's feedback so I I don't know how it is to do a ring gear I'm told it does not work the hassle the difference in price between a ring gear and a flywheel just buy a whole flywheel again so that's most likely what I'm going to be doing but I have to still order one today didn't have the time to get the transmission and the clutch yanked out and have it changed out even if I had the parts the fastest I'd have had it done by Sunday morning and then I had to run from Wisconsin all the way here that would have been legal in one shot but you're right at your 11 to get to Milesburg so I didn't want to gamble it I didn't have Parts anyway so it was irrelevant I called dispatch I'm like hey what do you want to do and uh their answer was they didn't want to repower load anybody available do it had trucks available since we don't have enough drivers jumping a company truck and get it done it does video I started this with a Freightliner Coronado Coronado decided to go into limp mode due to some emission sensor problem ahead of course naturally with me why not granted the truck was sitting on the fence line with no driver for it so trucks don't like sitting I'll tell you that so with the rated and reduced me down to 55. I was between my my my shop and the yard so I just ran it into the yard and got this truck instead so I'm sure by the time you see this video the Coronado will be all fixed up and ready to run and North goes good I was saying the wheelbase on these trucks earlier too I forgot I got swirl but I pulled away out of the truck stop back when Fritz Whitmire is still alive he liked to have a tropical wheelbase because he liked to make sure his drivers had boxes for storage for their chains he preferred it if you could he preferred having them storage boxes along your your frame rails as opposed to having a climb up on your headache rack like I do it's much less likely of a driver to fall climbing up and down the stairs it's also easier on equipment I'm banging chains off the side of the truck then wears out a driver much less there's only out that we either or I I can use the arm exercises with chains probably why I'm even close to the shape I'm in now obviously I need to get back in the gym or to start doing something but strength wise I do pretty well but then again look what I do but their theory was more boxes and if you wanted more boxes you had to have more length so that's what they did say after Trump's always had good long wheelbase to them put boxes on them in fact there was a generation of trucks right about the time when I at least stop Whitmire so it was a long time ago it was right about a time when Western Star was bought by Freightliner that Fritz bought a generation of trucks where he put a headache rack the trucks with no racks with nothing it was just a board a backboard on the back of the truck that's all it was back then flatbed work required a headache rack nowadays when they altered the cargo securement laws you didn't have to have it you don't have to have a headache rack nowadays it's recommended but to be honest if you think a big piece of stop boiled Crush in your calf your nuts stop pipes slide into your cabin door and he's not anyway Eddie racks were required then and not required now but Fritz had them just on the back of the truck with nothing on it and long ass frames like multiple side boxes they didn't do that again I thought the trucks look bad ass but they never did that again they still put the wheelbase but no one there as long as those Western stars were I don't know maybe these trucks are as long as some stars were pretty long slight difference I don't really it's been a while shoot I started with this company like 06 so as long as I've been anywhere as far as working for him or at least it on with them what does that tell you I started winning 106 and I'm still here [Music] I think it's this red light up here State Route 3005. Fox Hollow Road would you look at that boys and girls somewhere I've never been before ride I have to be quite that wide but wide enough I find it better if you make the turn way more exaggerated and you need to like if you slightly exaggerate a turn four-wheelers and that a strand the runner he might not have known what I was doing to make it real like what in the hell is he doing then he he got their attention now likely to become so sometimes you want that what the hell kind of reaction and then they notice you and then they stop and watch I find it to be true sharp turn ahead wait a little bit 10 tons accept local deliveries people tell me why in the world you would ever be here if it wasn't for the local delivery five should be on a right coming up here it's an old blouse fire department building almost here by time I saw where I should turn I wasn't in the lane far enough to my side to make that turn so I'll make it in a multiple point like so let's just make and see what's coming behind me here we go how's it going I heard somebody need a fire truck around here yeah they told me to be here today so I got a call find out exactly who I need to see but at least I'm off the road yeah I got a number I'll call your fault cannot be completed at Style please check the number and dial again foreign yeah that works Christine how you doing my name is Steve fescheck I'm a driver with Whitmire Express I have a fire truck for you yeah be fire engine coming uh from Oshkosh Nina here at the airport at uh State College they told me absolutely they told me absolutely positively be here Monday it's Monday and I'm here a lady at the gate was like I'm not really sure where you need to be although I did see the fire department as I passed it well I don't I are you at State College or are you in Oshkosh I don't I'm not seeing a purchase order number on it oversized load Oshkosh Rikers yes two five three five Fox Hill Road we're delivering those building air be in hangar hanger it's Roman numeral two and then it gives two numbers one it's not a real number and the other is yours error air AVN it's a it's a crashing it's a crash and rescue truck for the airport now it's one of those oversized load fire trucks yes at the airport the ladies at gate one or a maintenance word of heavy equipment gets in and out but she doesn't know anything about the delivery at least I'm off the road though so not blocking nothing or not blocking the highway anyway okay come on hello yeah I'm on hold there's two numbers yeah okay I mean it's that was good that was what they asked on a phone too they're like yeah why else would an air yellow yeah gate one excellent all right operations managers coming he's gonna escort me over okay excellent just had to find somebody that you know what the heck was Wyatt airport truck would come to an airport I I am not kidding you I'm like I'm telling a lady to crash and rescue airport you'll fire it's a fire truck is it coming to the airport I don't think they realize you were delivering it they're well okay I said amplify your truck for you what do you think I got a Tonka truck you know you know push button the lights this place sometimes I don't know oh yeah yeah yikes come into the airport take care now thank you man this stuff always gets me thinking it's like a fire department section [Music] foreign foreign [Music] said he's gonna take him for a little spin [Music] [Applause] [Music] yeah don't even think it that ain't me doing that that's something don't even get that in your head [Music] all righty boys and girls I gotta go get paperwork get signed we'll be out of here stay tuned for the next video hopefully we'll get a load to bring us right back to Wisconsin if not we're just gonna bounce home and start on Orwell thanks for watching have a great day hit that subscribe come on I'm working hard I earned that subscribe especially that like come on get her done
