and yeah I really do think it's worth spending some time customizing your wands you're going to be using this for a long time it's the same when it comes to the character customization I said in another video and many videos actually to spend a lot of time customizing your character since of course that's going to be with you for the entire game and I think the same should apply with the wand but you spend lots of time customizing that since you'll be using that for a very long time and it's always going to be involved no matter what you're doing in pretty much every Mission you'll find yourself using your wand at some point so I would definitely recommend spending some time customizing it so yeah this video is all about the ones customization and a complete guide to the wand in Hogwarts Legacy so let's get into it now there are plenty of ways that you can change your character's gear in Hogwarts Legacy including one's customization now it is worth noting that this is purely cosmetic and won't change any of the gameplay won't give you any advantage or anything like that in combat it is simply cosmetic but while you pick up your wand at the start of the game you can even transfer it over from The Wizarding World website if you've done that a lot of what you have from the start cannot be changed later on though so it is worth noting that yeah definitely spend some time here when first creating your wand in Hogwarts Legacy you can customize a number of its ingredients the main customization options for the ones consist of the eight one Styles the wood type and the ones core now I could just list all of these different customization options and go from there but I'm not going to do that and later on in the video I'm going to show you gameplay of the customization option in Hogwarts Legacy for the ones but before all of that I think it's best to go over how you actually get to this point in the game where you do get to customize your one since some of you may just be at the beginning of the game and want to know how to get to this point since something you're looking forward to so yeah let's go over that now to unlock your wands and your wands customization options you'll need to follow the main storyline so you'll need to complete the introductory scenario the Sorting ceremony discover your house and meet some of your companions and lastly complete two of your classes after that you will meet with Professor Weasley and you'll get the option to choose a friend to go with you to hogsmaid this friend will be one of the companions that you met earlier on in the game so once you do arrive in Hogs made one of the first things on your to-do list will be buying a ones and when you reach olivianders and go through the regular process of finding your ones you'll get the ones customization scene now Olivier on the shop is just within Hogs made once you do actually arrive in hogsmaids you can open up your map and you can find it Olivia's shop which is just labeled olivianders and then you can travel over there and yeah you'll start the cutscene where you do meet him and you'll go through a process of finding game ones for you you try a few ones some of them don't work and then you find the one that is right for you and then you will unlock that customization scene so yeah there's lots of things you get to pick between the one style the ones would type the ones length the wand flexibility the one's core and the one handle when it comes to the one style in Hogwarts Legacy the one star in Hogwarts Legacy refers to the shape and general color of the ones in total there are eight one star variations and each variation has three color variations if that makes sense now the ones would type in Hogwarts Legacy is similar to Harry Potter movies Hogwarts Legacy offers a wide variety of one wood types ranging from Applewood to you the game in total has 38 unique wood types that again won't change the power level of your wand now ones in Hogwarts Legacy can be anywhere from nine and a half inches to 14 and a half inches this is true to the original lengths used in both movies and books and will leave you with plenty of options when it comes to the length of the ones when it comes to the wand flexibility the flexibility in Hogwarts Legacy is tied to flexibility or rather inflexibility of your ones and this reaction when you apply Force to it there are 19 different one flexibility options that includes options such as brittle then finally there are the wand handle options the wand handles are just a neat addition to your ones that will alter the appearance of your one's handle you will find one handles as you play the game you can change them whenever you like from the gear window when you select your one so that's something you don't need to worry about as much to be honest but I've gone through all of that and I haven't really gone into the specific customization options that you get all of the actual options that you get to pick between obviously I've gone over the broad sections but not the actual options so to do that I'm going to play the actual customization scene and going through really don't need to spend any time here at all to be honest you just need to get your ones and then you can leave the shop you don't really need to worry about the customization options but of course if you want to go into full detail of the game explore everything that the game has to offer then you are going to look a bit into those customization options but yeah the choice here really is yours
