ComfyUI SDXL Lightning dual workflow (UNET, LORA)

hey everybody welcome to another AI fuzz video uh today I will be covering the uh brand new sdxl lightning model this is a model that produces great results but it is lightning quick pardon the pun but that's what its strength is it's fast it is fast it's a lightning fast text image generation model it can generate high quality 1024 pixel images in a few steps now when I say a few steps it can do it has a one-step twostep four-step and eight-step process yeah one step who what well the one step and the two-step process do not work yet with comfi waiting on comi to get updated so they do but the fourth step and the eighth step do work and there's do two different workflows on this page you can download you have the U unet workflow work flow is where you just put the the models into the models slun folder and you have the lower workflow which you put the models into your models SL Laur folder so all you need to do is download the models here so you go to files and versions and here we go there is the one step and the twostep which don't work currently and there's four-step Lura four-step unit same with eight step Lura and unet I downloaded I only downloaded the four and the eight step for now since the one and two don't work um but I did set up a workflow for myself let's jump to comfyi so this workflow contains both unit loaders and Lura loaders so I just wanted to see side by side if there was any difference I don't think there will be but speed-wise um epic realism XL is what I'm using as a base model as you can see here unit loader is the sdx lightning four-step unit and the sdl XD XL lightning four-step Lura is in the Laura loader okay next we have our positive and our negative prompts uh both going into an empty latent image both 1024 uh both have the C Samplers now the thing about the K sampler guys this is the default what they come with you start off with four steps cfgs at one sampler name is uler and the scheduler which is very important it has to be sgm uniform so you want to make sure that those settings are matched to the default and I have both case Samplers that going into a save image so now we're going to test the speed obviously the first time you loaded it's going to be a little bit slower cuz it's downloading all the stuff so I did one generation but I'm going to test the speed watch this okay I'm going to hit Q prompt right here right and I'm I'm not going to cut or edit this is going to be actual real time and it's going to go through the unet one first and then the Laura one next so ready here we go let's see go okay wow all right so went through the uh wow okay so that was pretty fast for you know I have a crappy machine guys I am on a laptop I have an RTX super 2070 with egg um I think 8 gigs of uh vram really crappy machine but it loaded super fast and here are the details the models come out pretty nice this is the unet and this is the Laura pretty cool you can add an s upscaler to these if you want to but I wanted to test the speed so let's do it again here we go ready go you can see the bar at the top it's running through the vcode once that's that's one already and it's going through the second right boom that was fast this this is the and this is the four step for imagine the twep and the one step what the hell one step how I don't know how it's going to do one step uh but it is so let me change the prompt and do some more speed tests let's go all right I updated the positive and the negative prompt and we're going to test this again here we go Q prompt watch the bar up top and watch this go through it's already in the decode of one of them oh no it's not it's in the K sampler there now it's in the thecode oh my goodness I have to uh blur that out what okay sorry about that let's do it again because it gave me a bad image there sorry that I don't know you know there's no oh it did the same thing so let me change the prompt here because it's giving me a horrible image not horrible but an uh not safe for work image and that okay I have two new prompts in there hit Q prompt go look at that look at the it just jumps through the K sampler DV decode oh my gosh and there to the the two images dude that is fast I mean for me it's fast you guys might have a beefy system fit beefy system and maybe even faster but for me it's fast and again the images aren't that bad coming out me again you can add an upscaler or you can do whatever from here but wow I love this I mean there's just do one more one do one more speed test before I go all right guys guys one more speed test before I leave and here we go okay and it's already jumping into that's already did an image bro I wasn't even ready for you it's already jumping to vad code and again no editing and these are the two images that I came up with fairly nice guys so I you can download this it works really well just uh choose which one you want I mean for me they work the same but the speed is what's key here um I'll
