Coleman CT200 EX minibike / Mikuni carburetor / governor removal

all right so we've had this bike about 12 hours and now we got to tear it apart it's too slow it's too slow it only does 21 miles an hour so it's time to take the governor off so after the governor removal it goes from 21 to about 40. you think i say 35 okay he says 35 say 40. i guess we shall see it's heavy huh it's pretty heavy yeah it is heavy that is true it is heavy this thing ain't light see that like you said hell no it isn't not like those other mini bikes i can just throw in the back of your truck i know this one i need a ramp seriously huh drive it up it's cool ripping them apart brand new yeah it's nice turn these babies apart all right and look at all that governor stuff man oh man that is a lot it is a lot of stuff huh all right pull off this gas tank pull off this fuel line and make a giant mess because you know we've got to make a giant mess with everything so this bike's been around for about it's been at the house for about 12 hours now and now we got fuel dripping out of it so that's cool got school fuel spraying everywhere oh yeah the bolts already loose that's funny all these bolts are loose already that's cool makes it easy to take apart everything's just loose yeah rip all this governor stuff off man this thing is never going to see a governor again maybe maybe all right take this whole mechanism off might as well just strip it down man let this little then later on we can take the engine apart get the wheel out of it it's a little nylon wheel all right there's that sweet look at that total governor removal except for the stuff inside the engine that's okay well we can i mean if you want to figure out how i'll link you to this right now but i'd rather just do it just saying seriously yeah somakuni on it yeah let's be done with it so then we'll see speed from not just government removal but government removal and mikuni the difference huh might as well go for the mikuni right now huh and just skip a step as well so this one's already got a um i think a 120 or 30 jet i can't remember i think it's one i might start marking these but anyway thermakuni on this beast this thing's going to be a beast from we're going to test it right now we tested it last time on gps it went like 21 point something miles per hour oh i was saying it's good about having 27 vehicles around here we have all these carburetors and so we can just put them together quick i gotta solder a tip on that for the mikuni yes i got some heat on that i think huh pretty good i think i'm hot all right hopefully that baby will fit into mikuni we'll find out in the plunger hopefully this will fit over or through this if it doesn't i got to fall it down a little bit there okay cool now is it going to be fat enough to find out the tip we'll find out not weld more onto it your little heat tank still going so this all right put this in the plunger hopefully they're supposed to fit down that hole which it does all right that's holding it yeah okay i know it used to fit this used to fit the go-kart man good we're good okay all right so that it's in there and i'll make sure that we get full throttle here because you know that would kind of defeat the purpose like you find out it only has to have throttle yeah yeah and you wonder why it's slow okay that's okay okay so anyway yep get full throttle huh full throttle perfect sweet yeah that's why i like my kunis they're so easy to simple set up yeah it'll look so much nicer on there huh without all that stuff i don't know is there something over there by the toolbox in the front where is that now we just wanna all right so there's all that man look how easy that is so nice man it's such a nice it's so much nicer and cleaner than that um factory stuff all right maybe i have to add a longer fuel line to this tank to fit that mikuni yeah easy oh yeah so anyway so hopefully now we'll grab gravity feed this gas tank into the makuni hopefully [Music] okay fingers crossed all right makuni install now we'll see how it runs ready go ahead joe man go for it anyway i say they did what 21 miles an hour before the swap with the governor i'd say 31. so you say you say 31. i stay about two what do you say 35 35 okay i say about i have to say 36 then i have to go up one yeah all right all right so makuni swap and the governor remove speed test let's see what she'll do so all right it did 33. and before the test it did 21.16 so that made a big difference already so anyway i did it in uh what 33.75 with the mikuni car and the governor removed so far
