Oh wow, oh wow, wow, wow.....
love this - really love this
feels like it could be an Intro or an interlude between two different parts of the album...
Is anyone else getting Bon Iver vibes from this?
Do I sense a bit of "Everything In Its Right Place" in it?
The song is cool! It sounds like a transitional track for opening or an ending to an album, like The Escapist in Viva La Vida/Death and all His Friends.
I think they chose this one to prepare us to what we're about to experience with the new album, which is not gonna be just a new Coldplay sound, but a whole new kind of music. I'm pretty excited about this!

Honestly, I'm a bit confused as to what you people were expecting.
I was waiting for it to pick up the whole time. I don't know how I feel about this new sound
It took me a while, but I genuinely fucking love this song. Felt confused, then felt comfortable, and now it's, I don't know, addicting? Welcome back, Coldplay. I sort of definitely love you.
Well it certainly sounds different for the band. I can't help but think it needed something more though, like I was all ready for a climatic chorus at the end :(
Edit - I'm really starting to warm to it now I've had a few listens! I think what I really like about it is that it's refreshing - it almost would've been too 'typical' for there to have been a big climatic crescendo at the end.
