CHILDREN UNDER 11 CAN RIDE WITH AN ADULT FOR FREE. >>> LET'S LOOK OVER THE SKYLINE OF CHICAGO. PRETTY GOOD. A LOT OF PEOPLE MAKING THEIR WAY OUT OF THE LOOP AFTER THE RIVER DYE ON THE PARADE. MY FAMILY WENT DOWNTOWN TODAY AND TOOK THE TRAIN. THEY WERE PACKED. ONCE YOU GOT THERE YOU COULD LOOSE YOUR JACKET WHEN THE SUN CAME OUT BUT THE WIND DID GET YOUR ATTENTION. >> YES. AND THAT WIND NOW IS REALLY STARTING TO SHIFT. IT'S BECOMING MORE NORTHWESTERLY. THAT WILL PULL IN CHILLY AIR. 39 DEGREES TOMORROW. THAT'S QUITE A SWITCH FROM TODAY WHEN WE WERE IN THE MIDDLE 50s MUCH OF THE DAY AND WE ARE ADDING FLURRIES TO YOUR FORECAST. SCATTERED FLURRIES WILL BE SLIDING THROUGH. TUESDAY, SPRING STARTS AT 10:06. THEN IT'LL BE TEN DEGREES ABOVE AVERAGE. RIGHT NOW IT'S 52 DEGREES. WE HAVE A WEST WIND SUSTAINED AT 22 MILES AN HOUR. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE WIND GUSTS AND TOMORROW WE WILL SEE THOSE WINDS GUSTING IN THE MORNING, ANYWHERE 20 TO 25 MILES AN HOUR. MAYBE RU GOING TO THE SOUTH SIDE AT NOON. THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL SEE. 25 TO 30 MILES AN HOUR OUT OF THE NORTHWEST. ALSO IF WE START WITH EARLY SUNSHINE WE WILL CLOUD UP QUICKLY DURING THE DAY AND AT NOON FOR THE STEP OFF OF THE PARADE WE ARE PUTTING 30s ON THE MAP BUT LET'S LOOK AT THE WIND. IT'LL FEEL LIKE 27 DEGREES AND WE STAY CLOUDY THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON. SO FOR THE SOUTH SIDE IRISH PARADE IT'LL FEEL LIKE 25 TO 29 DEGREES WITH THOSE GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS AND TEMPERATURES WILL STRUGGLE ONLY IN THE UPPER 30s AND HERE IS THE FLURRY ACTION. WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THIS MODEL BETWEEN NOON AND SUNSET. BRINGING IN PASSING FLURRIES. HOPEFULLY NOT AMOUNTING TO MUCH. HOWEVER, NORTHWEST INDIANA WE WILL WATCH OUR FRIENDS THERE. MAYBE FOR A LITTLE BIT OF LAKE ENHANCED SNOW SHOWER ACTIVITY AS IT SLIDES TO THE EAST. WITH THE WINDS PRETTY STUFF TOMORROW. TEMPERATURES WILL BE AROUND 39 DEGREES IN OAK PARK, ELMER38, WE WILL BE AT 38 IN EVANSTON. HERE IN HYDE PARK ABOUT 39 DEGREES. NORMAL ABOUT 47. WE ARE WAY OFF BECAUSE AS I SAID WHEN YOU FACTOR IN THE WIND IT'LL FEEL LIKE THE 20s. MADISON 39, AROUND THE RIM OF THE LAKE LITTLE COLDER THERE. INDIANA DUNES WE WILL SEE ABOUT 36 DEGREES FOR THE LOW TEMPERATURE. THE SEVEN DAY FORECAST SHOWS THAT TRANSITION. WE WERE IN THE 50s TODAY. TOMORROW FOR SAINT PATRICK'S DAY, MAYBE 39 BUT IT IS GOING TO FEEL LIKE THE 20s AND THEN ON MONDAY OUR LAST DAY OF WINTER OFFICIALLY. IT'LL FEEL LIKE IT. MOSTLY CLOUDY. 38 DEGREES. THEN SPRING STARTS AS I SAID ON TUESDAY. WE WILL HIT 55. SPRING STARTS AT 10:06 AT NIGHT AND THEN TEMPERATURES WILL BE MORE NEAR THOSE AVERAGE LEVELS FOR WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY AS WELL. LET'S TAKE A LOOK AT THAT TEN DAY TREND BECAUSE AFTER TEMPERATURES TAKE THAT BIG DIVE TOMORROW AND MONDAY, THEN FOR THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING ON TUESDAY 55 AND THEN WE WILL BE CLOSE TO AVERAGE. NORMAL HIGH IS 47 AND ON AVERAGE WE WILL BE THERE THEN FOR THE REST OF THE WORKWEEK. IF YOU ARE GOING OUT TONIGHT TO CONTINUE ALL THE CELEBRATIONS IT'LL BE BREEZY AND CHILLY WITH LOW TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWER 30s. WIND CHILLS CHILLS IN 20s. I WOULD SUGGEST ON THE CBS2 FLOAT A FEW LAYERS, MAYBE GLOVES AND HATS. GET YOUR HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER SWEATSHIRT AND COLBE RT WINTER HAT. GET ALL YOUR GEAR. >> YOU ARE
