but what is and you will seek to bring an impact learn from the process and connect with mentors here we are talking about code for dedicated mentorship program but also has additional perks with a typen of around one plus extended internships as well as placement opportunities andely benefits you will get one-onone mentorship from Industrial experts around for this particular project certification of cont extended internship and placement opportunities boots and uping through networking and different meetups that might happen yeser then also you can participate and to make working professional then also you are eligible so everyone if you are a coding Enthusiast or you are a design Enthusiast and you are in college working professional then also you can participate year they'll start from 8th of April and applications close 1st of May and final around 25th of May close to three months you will be working remotely for that particular dedicated mentoring program4 tag ticket top for this your skills proposal subm on unstop now you know everything and you still have one complete month for this competition to start official applications open around 8th of April and projects 1 of April your selection depends upon 25% of contribution to the open Community tickets and 75% would depend upon the design document or the project proposal that you will submit on the website but currently also tickets open can and it you will be earning points points you have higher chances of getting selected for thiss I'll be talking to them so I have with me R and Ashi who were the previous year participants in C4 GT and they are here to share some tips with you so first question is to rashit rishit uh applications are going to open very very soon for this year and this is a relatively newer program and students are not aware about it so what are some of those tips and tricks that can help somebody for getting selected into this program so uh thank you as for you know questioning me about this so basically what I felt was that uh you know joining Discord community of C4 GT is quite important for you while you're writing your proposals you should make sure that all the points that are there are very precise and to the point right when you are writing proposals you need to make sure that uh every cot stpp it that you're writing you give a good explanation to it you write about yourself how much time you can devote to the project right and this year we have a small change that 25% of the uh you know weightage that we are giving uh to the proposals is also through the community programs that we are building right you need to contribute to the community projects beforehand only so that you can get an upper hand while uh getting into the F anything else that you want to add Ashi yeah so like I think that one of the major part uh to like excel in this program is to get in touch with your mentors as soon as possible because for me like I like contacted my mentors very early on so it was really helpful and they gave me the particular resources that I need to study for while applying to that organization also like many or organizations they don't even pay much attention to the proposal most of they pay attention is that what previous contribution you have done to the organization so I think creating some PRS in that organization is really important if you want to be a part of the program and like you were selected for some specific organizations some of the tips and tricks that you would like to share on how to go through once you're selected for the program how to make your uh experience the best anything that you would like to add Ashi yeah so I think like uh to make experience best first is like keep it be in constant touch with your Mentor so that like he or she he can guide you about what are the major steps that you should take also be clear of the text tag that you are choosing like don't choose a very VAP text tag or something which you not very much familiar with try choosing something which you're familiar with so that you can contribute better to that organization also I think like writing clean code should be a great part of when you contribute in open source like writing code is important but uh it should also matter that your code is clean like many times my PR it got rejected because uh like there was some problems in the clarity of the code so I think uh one should also focus on this part anything else you would like to add rash on this part uh yes uh as covered really great points uh would also like to add on that once you're selecting your project just make sure that uh it's not always that you know all the text tag that's present here for instance like uh I when I selected my project I was totally a front end developer for uh some reason I didn't uh knew some of the text tack but it's not a complete uh deal breaker right you can look it on the go C CPO GT often provides you an Avenue where you can you know learn text stack on the go like Redux I learned on the go and implemented it right so when I was contributing to the C4 GT projects two days I used to spend on learning and three days I used to spend on uh you know implementing stuff which was very beneficial for me in terms of learning and the growth was very exponential uh now it's a small uh question where I would would want you to rate your experience on four different parameters on a scale of 10 right so let's uh start who would like to go first can go first okay great so uh how would you rate your uh experience on the basis of learning uh learning it's 10 on 10 for me just because I already explained that I got the uh you know uh thing for you know learning first and then implementing stuff which was very beneficial second is getting opportunities after this C4 GT was over so again again for me just because uh I got an six-month intern plus a poo opportunity at a remote for company right second of all I got the opportunity like there's a DPG dialogue that's set up by samagra where you get to network with lot of uh individuals across the globe for example ministers and you know get up uh devils and all those things so which is a great networking opportunity in fact I also got a verbal offer from samaka itself for my great contributions at C4 GT and mentorship mentorship uh again it's fantastic 10 on 10 just because my mentor was super helpful even before I started contributing to C4 GT uh I remember I wasn't even able to run my project on my local laptop but he was so supportive uh that I actually was able to run it on the laptop and raise a couple of PRS for fixing the issue as right my mentor was abake pal he's a senior software engineer at samagra X and super helpful yeah even during the project anything you would like to suggest so that this program can be improved further uh certainly uh there are always scope of improvements but whatever C4 GT has done in the past is really amazing these days uh one small thing that I would recommend is basically collaborating with lot of uh you know influencers and putting it out online like uh as they are doing it right now uh like I am running as the CT College president in which I'm advocating open source and in DPG and DPI spaces which is very beneficial because students are learning about these things and you know now they are wanting willing to contribute to these projects so that they can some do something very grateful for now question to Ashi similarly how would you rate your experience uh on a scale of 10 in the field of networking so how was networking on a scale of 10 um I think yeah I would also rate it a solid 10 uh firstly because like uh uh the organization that I contributed under they invited me to a springer and where I met so many like people there and I actually got to network with them in person which was a really great experience also I got another winter internship opportunity in the same organization which I interned under which is glyphic so yeah uh for networking it is a 10 on 10 for me great so it was great talking to both of you I'll put in your social handles here in the description for people to go and reach out to you for any more queries right it was lovely talking to both of you thank you so much for sharing your experiences thank you thank you thank you for having us forry of elects and information teyat as you will see project name digital Learners passbook they want a digital docet of asset access for Relevant stakeholders that would uh have digitally verifiable credentials and documents of the learner pass collectors log of skills capabilities and achievements of the learning fellows they uh want a quiz Creator project the project looks it creates an interface for quiz creator for all the stakeholders involved as a quiz creator for their particular organization typ tickets list I hope to participate in this year's code fortech doubts you can let me know in the comments below I'll be more than happy to answer all of them and if you want to start participating go and check out their Discord servers start with the community tickets and you will get and Edge relevant links I'll give them in the description below for you to check make sure you do check them see you in some other video till then all the best good luck and
