[Music] [Music] thank you well are you gonna give us a demo let's see how much skills we have turn that thing on go for it let's see come on [Music] thank you boom welcome back to the channel I'm Hank strange this is stranger palooza and I don't know I think it's about nine o'clock in the morning on a Friday we're actually in Ocala for the Ocala RV show that's our van that's not our van that's not our van that's not our van that's not this is not our van uh there's actually The Coachman Beyond Owners Group Meetup that's going on here uh I think this is the third year that it's um that it's happened here in Ocala at the Ocala RV Show so there's I don't know they might be 50 60 Beyonds Coachman Beyond's Ford Transit here right now and there's actually a couple of The Coachman gallerias which are on Sprint events and The Coachman novas which are on promasters so this morning before I get up and going making videos I figured I'd make this video and show you guys some of this all right guys I want to remind you that we have these vanosaur t-shirts and a new one is out this is campfire By Moonlight new Venusaur t-shirt that's how you pronounce that if you're a fan of Class B Camper vans whether it's Sprinter ProMaster or the transit you can get these t-shirts show your love for that and support stranger palooza and we don't have any like logos or anything like that on it plus you can get stranger palooza T-shirts if you look down here in YouTube there's a store down there you can check out the store get this and other designs and from Lola and myself who did all the work designing this thanks very much see you on the next one so let's see let's see if we can count out one two three four five six seven eight nine and ten at least right there and then there's another 10 coming down here going this way we'll walk away from that generator so there's look at that that's awesome man how often do you see this many Vans I think really uh Coachman is the only company that has this many for Transit vans that are actually built and out in the world I know there's some other companies obviously that uh that are building on the Ford Transit I know quite a few of them a few of them I actually like myself man Coachman really really did it here since uh 20 maybe 2018 or something like that or beyond that they've been making Beyonds I think they first started calling them cross fits or something so here's a you know so you saw that 10 on that row that we're on here's another ten there's at least probably 20 going that way so that's like 30. and then there's at least another 20 back there on that side we'll walk over there we'll go check that out but it's cool man when you're talking Class B Vans to have that many you know and this is not all the owners obviously there's a lot more owners out there in the world these are just the guys who could actually make it out to this show and come out for the Meetup and there's people from all over the country here so and like I said here's uh there's the Novus the ram promasters got a couple of novas here and then you've got some gallerias over here the the sprinters so you know what I'm gonna stop showing my face I'll show you guys some of what's going on out here so let's let's start with that I don't want to get you know obviously people it's early in the morning everyone's getting up there's there's someone sitting there uh here's some uh Galleria is right here everyone's like talking to everyone else figuring out what accessories what do you use I use this thing you know check it out this is two rows deep over here two rows two rows deep so we'll just go down here so basically we made a big circle it's a big circle here in Vans morning so I'm gonna say this is at least 50 if not more and then there'll be other folks that come in just for the day and hang out look fans fans fans see this I'm trying to see this that's a New York Plate cook right there um Texas not everyone has the plates on the front of their their van so if you're like Florida doesn't have to have a plate on the front so more vans vans vans vans vans vans vans going down here see there's a CrossFit so see this one says CrossFit so in the beginning they were calling them crossfits but I think there was some legal issues with that some some people have Beyond Cruiser on there some people just make up like their own names like this guy just made up his own name called he has a Beyond Cruiser that's how that goes hey morning so oh camping coastie good morning Miss Gardner how you doing it's good bye say hello what's up Spike he's hunting right now yeah he's how's it going man doing good doing good pretty day and oh yeah it's very nice though we're fixing to head over to the show oh yeah me too I figured I'll get some separate Vans yeah look at that Garden that's looking all like intellectual with the glasses and everything or you know all civilized clean shaven yeah what's happening that's nice good to see you yeah it's good to seeing you too yeah yeah well let's see who else we see out here yeah see ya you go so there you go and then we're back this is the row that we would be in that we're back here so that's the circle hey good morning how's it going and then there's this big tree in the middle everyone's hanging out at the tree so if I just do a little pan here for you guys I'll try to go slow so no one gets sick so we'll start from this white van and we'll go slowly just to show you guys as we go around here these are all the vans some people are obviously working on their van and all that there's that white band that we started out so really cool you know typhoon adobo's over here hanging out good morning [Music] as always it's nice to visit with you and Laura okay all right so yeah we just finished one seeing all the other Beyond owners we just gotta find out where you're going next so we can stop yeah oh yeah I'm going to rodell's house let's do it let's do it so you guys missed it I didn't have my camera last night but uh this guy right here man oh he's got some skills he was over here singing a fantastic job somebody has videos so don't act I will find someone here that has video of that it was a fun night though yeah that's good yeah Sunshine really put on a good feed for us exactly yeah it was a good food see some people's dogs man are spoiled big spoiled babies he's an old goat [Music] you guys going into the show yep we're waiting for you so we can use the back door oh [Laughter] okay yeah we got to talk about that off camera the trail boss of all this going on is Dean he runs the Facebook the Beyond Coachman Beyond owners group on Facebook Dean he's the Trail Boss morning [Music] in front of him check it out there's Dean that's the Trail Boss right there there you go yeah I'm with the YouTube Boss yeah someone has to make a documentary on Dean man get out there on the road and follow him all over the country where have you not been in America with your van where have I not been yeah huh let me think uh I've Been Everywhere been everywhere everywhere yeah it's awesome on the stage I'm trying to be like you when I grow up you want to be like me yeah when I grow up I'm still trying to grow up two of them we're in big trouble then 167 500. wow four years four months and you've been to Allstate have you taken your van to Hawaii what was that again have you have you gone out to Hawaii yet put it on a boat or something and go out there yeah but I've been on a lot of ferries out oh okay a lot of fairies yeah what's yours up in Washington state all the islands the orcas the San Juans Vashon Island and uh this spring and summer I plan on going up to the uh Canadian Maritime oh Newfoundland uh Cape Breton Island Prince Edward Island also a labrador Nova Scotia wow New Brunswick wow okay see he's internationally known and locally accepted um where's your favorite place you've been to my absolute favorite place was my financial plaxton two I talk about the most is uh Yellowstone in Glacier okay Wyoming Glacier in Montana my absolute favorite most pristine beautiful place Alberta Canada okay between Lake Louise up the Columbia icefield Road all the way up to Jasper it's crazy beautiful Serene I just can't describe it you have to go okay what about where does Florida rank we're in Florida wait you know some Florida the people are number one so it's not also so much always about the places we're going but the people we meet yeah you know like yourselves and Florida has loving warm I just love it respectful people and of course we have all the beaches you know I go to Anna Maria Island I go to Venice I go to Naples I go to Key West what time of year do you come to Florida not in the summer I'm guessing no you don't come in the summer right no no it's time and time is half the time to come right if my boy if you can't take advantage of now Now's the Time to take advantage this time of year so you know 8 10 12 weeks down here how can you beat it yeah Paradise it really is it's beautiful yes I never thought I would say that because I always thought that Florida was for old people I want to go wait a minute but but when you think about it so I mean I can understand why young all demographic all generations they love Florida yeah that's the beautiful thing about America there's so many different places in America absolutely you could be in America and be in the something like the Caribbean you know something like the tropics I know I love the Caribbean so I mean it's awesome yeah down in the keys is a lot like the Caribbean all right cool I'm gonna go get into the show but I just wanted to say something thank you and then show people all the bands out to you guys yeah Lola yeah and I appreciate you guys being here today good good job running the uh Facebook group so thank you so much if you're on the Facebook group you already know Dean if you're not you want to get on there get on there and say hi to Dean [Music] this is a storage container for the uh speaker enclosure I want to get and look at that look how deep it goes right into the door from on Amazon yeah okay what do you search on Amazon I'll find it for you I just I got it recently I'll give you I had never seen it yes because those speakers are not my favorite yeah I don't even hear them exactly I'm like what's the point of them on the Facebook page of the Jensen I can understand maybe using it we took the dents and out of that thing was oh yeah I took out the Jets I mean I really feel like if everyone took out those Jensens and send them back we could solve the chip crisis what I'd like to find is I just like to find just a little Bluetooth adapter to be able to do instead of it well you know yeah yeah we just carry one and it's a portable it's a Bose it's a little Bose Wave It's the mini it was called The Wave from back in the days be a big one company it is so so you know I think if I have a but I think um did you catch it then it'll be able to go on the Facebook page okay and then this just comes back and come out and I just put extra I put extra insulation inside there while I was there I just jammed a whole bunch of insulation that's a good idea because that takes up a lot of room this bulky bag yeah and yes it looks like insulation so we've got Ricky he's a Beyond owner and also an Air Force veteran don't hold that against him you know thanks Ricky you're welcome thanks for sharing your van with us you've got some really cool mods here that I'd like to show off some some relatively easy stuff for other folks out there to do and then some other stuff that looks a little bit more complicated so uh why don't we start with the jackery setup actually I really like that I have a jackery myself but I don't have the solar panel so tell us what you got going on yeah it's a 1500 watt jackery and it's got the four 100 watt solar panels that actually folds in place so they don't take a lot of room up and it works great we power up our van we use it for coffee in the morning like that so we really like it yeah the folks here we're using it to power a speaker system the other night that was mine yeah yeah that's cool and you said you're using this instead of the microwave this morning are you yeah I have it plugged into the whole van and uh I have I can run everything but my AC with it okay because you don't have a lithium upgrade yet so you can use this okay that's cool so it keeps me from having to run the generator just make noise and then with these you can point them wherever the sun is move them around not getting much solar right now but okay yeah all right so I noticed here like you're saying it's plugged into the van so you can get these and then it goes right in and you can use that power immediately you're saying yep so it's just like plug it into Shore power okay it used a little bit of uh Power because I had to charge my batteries obviously I'm plugged right so yeah but uh yeah so down here you've got 400 watts right correct okay and then the uh what do you 200 Watts 200 Watts on the roof yeah so you got like 600 going in there okay you notice a good uh charge going in yeah early in the morning like I said it's charging the battery so it's going to use up a lot of power at the beginning nice but uh once that's charged up I can keep it on all day okay and what about the jackery itself Lola and I have one and we actually had some issues with it we sent it back to jackery and they you know they sent us out a new one for a couple years and yeah never had an issue with it okay cool yeah if I do it nice enough to send me after I bought it about a year later or a second AC charger so I have no AC charger oh nice okay all right great so let's let's go through here see what else you got going on well it can start in the back since I'm here I really didn't like not having a headboard when we were sleeping because space in between the bed and the um and the doors yeah yeah so I really wanted to build something I'm a woodworker so I said well I'm gonna build it out of wood so I built this I got me some Pine boards from uh from Lowe's built it up and uh had my storage here took the seat belt uh bore out of there give me a location now you're using that whole space from here going back on the whole station there so yeah oh nice everything I need is in there of course not having the surge protector I have it hardwired so that doesn't use up any space so this just folds down and you use this as like a little bench and stuff like that I don't think on here yeah so we can close that up yeah and I guess if you wanted to to you could sit on it or no it's not that not for sitting okay sit real real small okay so just for putting stuff out here staging right okay very cool and then does it go up on the inside or just you've got this barrier now between you got the barrier now so I keep my bedding uh okay under there okay so I have the duvelaise so every morning you know when when you're out to a event like this we put that stuff away and it's all stored behind yeah and then it's really cool then so and then this doesn't come all the way down that's it doesn't need to come all the way down but yeah yeah I have the magnetizers okay cool yeah nice so this is nice yeah that looks great I love it Air Force that's good right there very nice and I also put the uh yeah the kayak hatches on there I think I think Corvette Jill might have been maybe the first one to do so what are those called kayak hatches kayak hatches yeah okay so I took the speakers out and um I keep my all my water connections and stuff yeah that's on each side yeah and don't have to to get in here to do that yeah sewer holes just I have the CrossFit the old 2019 CrossFit right so my sewer is still down here so everything's accessible here for me yeah I've noticed a lot of people saying like Okay the speak the speakers work but not really useful for every every day so that is a good use you could stash some stuff in it right now did you have any issues removing those speakers no none at all okay um and then I think I heard you telling someone that when you take these out the other ones don't work so you had a fix for that yeah tune the overhead will not work uh at least on my RV okay and so I had to put some forearm resistors to uh not that the speakers you can hear you know while you're driving anyway but uh yeah for the stereo system I didn't want to load it Down Right have an open connection yeah have any issues going on with that so you just found something you could plug and play into those wires right oh okay right very nice all right so what else do you have going on I know this is a little bit of a work in progress right right right so if you're doing some other upgrades yeah have the Doppler mud Doppler screen like a lot of folks have done there what does that do just to keep the dirt dopplers from making a nest inside yeah like in Florida we have a bunch of those they'll get into any Gap so we don't have that yet where'd you get this from you know I've been having it so long probably somewhere on Amazon oh okay is it magnetic or no it's not it's got little three little screens that you have to uh to attach to the thing it doesn't come with a gasket so if you don't want to scratch your paint you know you have to put some type of seal around it no okay yeah then the exhaust pipe you can see is black yeah you got that going down going down so I I sanded the other one down and put some heat uh resistant paint black paint there to make it look a little bit better okay nice and all these things I will try to look on Amazon and put links in the description okay and we'll excuse the mess but welcome oh yep inside I'm sure it's a lot more organized than my van so first off one of the first things I did was um built this little cabinet here for a little picnic table and my table tops for the back and pull for the back so I made that now you're a tall guy with building this cabinet you still have enough room it goes all the way back and there's no there's no issue it doesn't stop and uh so I have room to put like my little Ryobi air compressor back there too and uh oh cool then my solar panels actually all go right here and I keep my jacket right here so it doesn't for me it doesn't use any room yeah any room and I like that uh triangle you have up there I guess that's just for some clothes and stuff and then my wife kind of make this to keep some extra um uh paper towels and stuff like that that's cool yeah yeah a little little uh letter holder here that we put to keep our reservations and stuff in place yeah yeah very nice and also since I have my jackery what I did was when I took the refrigerator out and put ventilation fans in there I also added a relay back there so I can hook up my jackery 12 volts directly to my um oh to my refrigerator tonight when we're boondocking oh I don't use my battery up as much of course when I go to lithium that won't be a problem right absolutely but you know what it's always good I feel to have a backup even though I've got the jackery and I've got lithium batteries you know but with that jackery you can always take it with you if you guys are going hiking somewhere and you just need extra power or sitting out a little bit away from the van yeah so that's cool also replace is that the Jackie 1000 you have 1500 the 1500 okay it's also replaced the uh the little silver board they had there's I guess it's cardboard with metal so I can put magnets and stuff in there so now I need to start buying some magnetic um uh things when we go to our national parks oh that's cool I see you guys going a lot of different places this is nice so I have that for my cutting board most people have those I use that for um my Keurig in the morning and stuff like that we're from Louisiana so obviously right we wanted that right very nice that's cool yeah so that's some of the mods yeah so also I put some stick on mirrors back there so the wife can do whatever she needs to do in the morning her makeup her hair or whatever the case may be but uh yeah those are just stick on not high high quality but it it it it uh it does the trick yep another thing we did was seat covers um I think I got those from lighting the Box uh they have various sizes so just to protect the um the the upholstery on the seats and stuff like that now it's light in the box is that an Amazon product or is it no it's that's the name of the company or Chinese company and stuff like that but they have an app and uh you can look it's easy to customize things yeah people ask me that all the time uh you know how can they customize stuff for their beds so light in the Box light in the boxes okay I did that for other people had some other ones but they were a little bit too large these have smaller sizes for for the bench seats and stuff like that so they fit as you can see pretty tight yeah so I also cut the uh the TV um Mount uh so it wouldn't stick out and stick out so those were cut and I put some plastic plugs in there so I have a Alexa Echo dot in there that we use too if you want to listen to some music and stuff like that I took the Jensen system out and put a Kinder little amplifier oh cool and a 12 volt um Sony CD player so I also have a 12 volt to 12 volt regulated power supply back there so that I don't I don't get all that noise and stuff like that yeah so even though you um remove those speakers from the back you guys still listen to music and you still find the well we listened to yeah like I said two of these speakers were in series with the back speaker right and then two speakers was for the um yeah well what was the Jensen now is the Kenner but uh yeah okay and I made some some shells there to put all different things in there um yeah I love this your shelving it really maximizes that use of space yeah another thing I'm working on uh it's not done yet but if if you guys want to cut that out that's fine I don't know it's good to show our works in progress lithionics 320 amp hour battery in there yeah I've got some of the wiring kind of so you've already got the lithionics pack that's going in here well I don't have it yet I'm going to order that oh you're ordering it okay yeah and uh but yeah so I just need when I get home the battery the old battery comes out I got a couple of cables to run for my generator okay we'll be done hopefully for uh Indiana how easy is that installation so far for you well for me it's not bad I've worked electronics and avionics all my life so you know I had to modify obviously the uh the little cubby back here uh but I think some of the newer Vans have the the inverter here mine's underneath the driver's passenger seat so I guess if you had the new one you couldn't you couldn't put it here sun visor or sun cover for the front here that's different from from what I see everyone else using what's this yeah I I don't remember the the name and the company I bought that probably I bought this probably Euro campers but um it's just a Ford Transit a windshield um sun shade I got the one with the the roll down screens so you can get some light too as well yeah so you can still open the windows even yeah so obviously I have I have the vent in the window as well if you can see that I see that behind there yeah maybe um let's see yeah maybe some of it you know yeah I think I got that from Euro campers I think so and if we're somewheres for just overnight we have a curtain that we actually snap in place I put some snaps there and we'll just put a curtain the blackout yeah so uh we'll do that so you like this better than using the shades that comes with this I hate the shades that come with this so they stay at home we used them for the first couple of trips but uh yeah I like this better okay awesome yeah that's a great idea I saw some of the guys with the gallerias using something similar not the same thing but something else I thought yeah that's cool and this would be a lot easier to tuck away yeah absolutely those big heavy things yeah yeah I keep them well I keep it in the back or if we're traveling I'll just put it I have a little case that I keep it on the back of the seat so it fits in there yeah it's fold it up and I see this bag here is the storage yeah yeah all right awesome well Ricky thanks for your service and thanks for uh giving us this very cool walkthrough I think the folks out there will get some good ideas from what you're doing hope so yeah it's great meeting you as well same thing same here yeah awesome thank you of my trusted trusted members that's always on no you expect to see you know here's something yeah you know my brain is going on around here you know my brain is always going that's a good thing and you're smiling too keeps me sharp right right see you later a day so we've got Dave uh should I call you David okay so everybody calls me soup so that's why I have my thing line is uh Dave soup oh Dave soup okay last name is super oh very cool super Dave yeah I remember Super Dave but I got this up at uh Sunshine State you did awesome two years ago sweet cool very cool and uh and so this is a 2020 Coachman uh 21 21 and 20 chassis really chassis yeah okay that was the last one they had uh you know there was they had two they had I think they had a a c uh that was pending and they had this one so we went and looked at it and we drove it around is this an Orbee uh or yeah RV yeah oh cool yeah awesome that's what we wanted we're in the RB did we have to make like a subsection just the RB guys uh yeah I wanted the RB because of the bigger shower yeah absolutely and I you know I think this has more you know storage because of the all the you know the little cubicles yeah yeah I agree with you yeah yeah or even behind the doors you know all those little spots yeah so if you want to run us through some some uh some upgrades that you've done because basically in this video we want to show folks oh okay a couple of things that people have done we did a similar thing last year people seem to like it so uh what do you want to show us is there anything on the outside that's uh I made this because people were buying a silver you know the metal ones that were I said well I can you know I made this that is what what oh this is wood oh no it's not wood but it's 3D printed yeah oh cool and I my friend at the bike shop because I work at a Santos Bike Shop oh cool so he has a 3D printer so I made it out of wood first to get the right dimensions and stuff and then I gave it to him and he scanned it oh cool so he made me a flat one and I glued it down but over about a month or so it broke off so I said uh how about if we make it uh L-shaped because it's screwed into the band back here right uh so this has been on there for over a year now oh cool and it hasn't even degraded or anything oh nice yeah we need something like that so I told him I said well how much to something like this cost to make he says about a nickel oh wow but awesome everyone needs that so that stops the door there and you can you can get it oh yeah but if you opened it it would just go there naturally yeah that's the problem with with the RV is that since you have this big wall yeah you don't need to see and then and these don't have this yeah so when you're in here you had to reach way back here to grab the door now you know now I just have to grab it when I come in I heard someone here at the Meetup had a bunch of those yeah so you're the guy well no uh Corvette Joe has something the L-shaped one and he has 3M tape on the back of them oh but I don't know how long that would hold up right okay because ICA glued mine yeah the first one and it broke and it still didn't hold yeah yeah depending on the weather humidity and stuff like that here in Florida two screws aren't going to come out yeah absolutely that's that's a good idea I like that but yeah and then you know and then the truma thing you know and uh I put a rubber thing behind it so I didn't scratch this yes that's cool and then this is you know because we bike a lot so swing out yeah and this is the this is the this one swings out to 120 actually so you can go out even further with the bikes oh that's cool yeah but uh how much weight can you get on that uh that's designed for I think like 60 pounds each tray this thing's pretty beefy yeah I got this at the shop okay so good you know and and you were talking about these um in the in the rare bath that you could see that stuff in I agree with you I use these because uh you know the expandable hoses when you plug them in and put water in them they grow and then they're all over the ground these just they don't expand once you plug them in so how long does this go these are 25 foot 25 feet oh usually that's what you need and then this one's uh 50. oh okay so where'd you get these from and these are all Quick Connect uh cool well you can either get them online and you know uh on Amazon or I think uh Camping World actually Camping World do you know you remember what they're called yeah they're really easy to you know put in you know uh you know because the you know coach came with this one yeah for the pork yeah uh and then I carry a expandable ladder yeah yeah well I can let me just lower this that way it's uh so this is uh you know so I can get underneath because I have a I have a tube um a sewer tube on the passenger side underneath oh okay with a you know 15 foot you know tube you know sewer hose in it okay uh because I don't keep the sewer stuff back here oh I see okay I don't want it inside yeah yeah yeah get it out of the way so you you expanded the one that it came with yeah okay so I use this that's right we actually used this the other day when the person's uh awning yeah someone's already yeah they didn't have any way to cut it off yeah at the coach so I took this over there and they were able to get up and cut the rest of it off oh cool okay yeah ladder comes in handy yeah so I'll ever open your Awning in the in the very now I actually had mine part way open and I figured oh I'm gonna I should go back and close it but it had closed itself so yeah yeah you know sometimes it can't react fast you know yeah no I know they go in real slow yeah and if you have to open it people say just open it like halfway or something yeah so I know she used the curtains here because you have to come out and put them in so I found that one curtain fits right here you know you just put velcro and it covers the windows so yeah so I had interesting very you know your brain works a little differently I like it so the curtains that came with it fit exactly on this spot here yeah you know and it covers both sides and because I like to look out the back window when I'm driving right I mean I can't see much but yeah yeah I like what you can still see it gives you a sense of security you know I hate to have to get out of the van and put these on both doors and then shut the doors and you know some people just leave them on all the time but you know I like to be able to use the windows yeah I agree good idea and then I made uh you know see that's nice yeah everything yeah we've been trying to find one the right size for that that you could just buy but I don't care yeah I just I built this one because I had some cedar I could push this back yeah I'll hold it back for you I bought some uh I had some cedar laying around that the idea of this is that you know a lot of times if you're sitting on an angle water stays in the trough yeah so that way you know when you come walking in you know this dries pretty quick right okay all right and then I put you know locks on here because I've had this drawer come out and just break off oh really broke the track wow so I put these you know these connectors in here you know the Child Safety things you know everything too far uh yeah just so yeah so can't come open and somebody like this I made for the for the you know quick connect and you know that it was just a rubber okay thing not a big deal okay so you know instead of putting hose in if you just wanted a faucet or outside oh I see you just poke this in it's the same thing as this the hose that came with it and then it just has it on off oh this is a quick connect one yeah you just poke it in the side of the van yeah and uh oh sweet somebody said where do you buy those I said I said you buy all the parts online and then put it together you've got really good ideas but uh I like your toilet paper holder yeah actually it stays better on this cabinet than it did on the plastic which is really weird you'd think it would stay better on there but it fell off of there I put that on there probably it's been on there for a couple months wow and it hasn't moved or falling off yet okay interesting okay so which is kind of weird that this is a better surface to put it on than the white you know I find that to be true yeah I think the problem is because yeah we bought the twins which are a little bit bigger than these are beds but they're uh but you know they're like sleeping bag you know they slip over the whole uh you know the mattress and then it's like a sleeping bag it's got to ZIP down this thing and it's called Betty's Betty's yeah b-e-d-d-y-s okay where did you find those online online yeah okay there's other companies uh you know Ken from you know the sales person from the for Sunshine State yes yeah he uses a different I forgot what he used uh you can ask him about it uh he told me about them you know there's different companies but uh we found this one online and we like the patterns because they have different you know different batteries yeah yeah it's got a nice and uh yeah and you can zip it from either side you know so if you want to have your head up this end you can zip it that way if you want to you know cool so either way you can zip it you know yeah that's cool but and then I've heard about those this is my first time seeing them what's that the baddies oh yeah yeah they're pretty nice I mean they're a little bit bigger like I said they're a little bit bigger than uh you know than than the mattress itself because you know obviously you're not twins you know yeah mattresses we sleep well they're a little smaller but you just push the excess down behind the back you know yeah and uh they work great and they're very comfortable they're and I have two inch foam under oh there too I bought a a uh a full-size uh or or a queen one or the other and I just cut it in hand and put one on each side oh uh you know so memory foam yeah just remember two inch Memory Foam on the there okay the beds are a little hard and that makes a big difference oh yeah it's like night and day okay it was yeah much better okay nice nice yeah it was like playing on a board at first you know it's like oh my God this is awesome yeah yeah I think they're using a better foam now but yeah that yeah our beds are hard as a rock yeah you know but I know and I got rid of the uh the wind no covers because I didn't like those because they were too heavy and bulky so I bought Weather Tech and just poke in and uh and they have you know silver on one side black on the other okay so you know if you want heat you know you put the black out if you want to reflect you put the silver out okay so this is the ice maker I didn't want to drill into the uh into this so I put it on another platform I cut it the same size okay you know and then it's just fastened I made just it's fast in the same way this is it just has a metal bracket that slides behind the counter and it doesn't go anywhere yeah it can't move yeah it fits into that Gap so it's not bolted down so I have to drill any hole I don't want I don't want to drill any holes if I don't have to yeah anywhere awesome uh you know because for some reason I ever trade this in or whatever I don't wanna you know counters full of holes you know when I can just mounted something else then it just slides in the back so now I know why I would want an ice maker why did you want an ice maker because I use a lot of ice yes I'm with you to stay cool and it makes ice every 10 minutes wow that is awesome you know and if you don't use it it just melts back into the Container oh it just keeps recycling it's on now does it filter it stops uh when it's full you know and then when you take the ice out then it then it starts up again okay so right now it's full so it's it's idle you know but this is just you know it's 110 but it's running off the solar I don't have anything else on and it hardly uses any juice you know I like that Lola but always have ice I knew you would yep I told him about a little ice cream yeah and as soon as you plug these in within I don't know 10-15 minutes ice pops out okay and the longer it stays on uh the the you know the thicker the ice gets so where's the water source you pour the water yeah you have to pour water in yeah I carry bottles of you know bottles of water in here yeah and then whenever empty I can just fold them up and stick them out that's right so I don't have a big container empty container in a way you know these bags of water just you know you just fold the bags up and chill them in a drawer okay awesome and that's all about space you know I mean you need the space absolutely the beds look great from this side oh yeah but uh I see you like old lights what's that oh yeah I got tons of them yeah it's always good to have a lot of things they're awesome yeah I need to have timers on them they have a three and nine second timer yeah it cuts off yeah yeah yeah yeah the table uh I took the post out I didn't like that because it was in the way for one and uh so I remounted it here I made a little bracket for it uh I mounted the the uh the thing here for it and uh it just you know this just pops out it's all connected yeah so you change the location so I made a smaller table gotcha you know and uh and I actually screwed this to this so this is an extra piece I put on here so this would sit on here you know and then this just sits there that's pretty much it yeah and then these are the WeatherTech uh you know windows covers yeah yeah they're real light they're you know work great and then you built your little uh your little table top here oh yeah this yeah which you know it's just velcro to the floor over here comes apart just pops out yeah but which is cool we just climb over the seat yeah that's a good idea you know it gives you sort of extra it just seemed like a waste waste in space yeah you know I agree uh one of the things I was gonna tell you I mean obviously you know it's not here but since we have a rear bath I always think about it myself right you know this space here would be cool to also have some extra storage like you have in the back yeah right you know since it's it's probably a void I'm that's one of those because I never put the TV out here me neither I don't use any of these things yeah I mean it's cool trying to figure out what that I can do with those it'll be nice to another another thing that's racking around in my brain trying to figure out it's like oh yeah what can I use this space if I had the skills I would just go into it and redo it yeah see I don't want to cut anything yeah yeah because I'm afraid that screwing something up like that's why I add stuff you know it'll be nice if we could get Coachmen to do it here you know because then you you know why because even if you didn't go in here and make an indentation to store stuff yeah if you put maybe a Molly panel or two out here you could always strap in emergency stuff like so flashlights umbrellas and things like that if you're out here people put uh you know tables that fold down you know that just clamp up yeah so I think some stuff like that in my opinion would be cool you know maybe if someone at Coachman is looking at this yeah you know for the rear bath guys give us a little extra yeah because something is a wasted wall yeah you know yeah I mean it's yeah in a band you have to use everything oh yeah and these I had to replace these okay The Coachman sent me the whole kit oh cool and it took a little time to get them off and put new ones down but uh yeah they were all beat up you know it's starting to come up yeah well not so much that but I you know from climbing in and out with my bike shoes on I shoot they got chewed up I wasn't really paying much attention yeah those black shoes so I actually said this was all chewed up too I sanded all this down and resprayed it I actually found spray paint at the Home Depot that was almost exactly the same color as the you know silver it's a little bit darker but not too bad oh so you can't really no I can't tell he could you know I could see it around the edge a little bit so it's a little bit darker but it's not not too bad if you're covering most of it up yeah yeah so and I'm sure you'll mess it up again oh yeah yeah so you know try something else yeah right exactly people gave me ideas to just go online and get it but I figured I'll call Coachman and see if they have the Sticky Kits you know right and then I put the same thing back on there so they sent them to me for free so okay cool awesome Dave thank you hey I appreciate that a lot of nice uh things that you've done yeah it's uh I'm always coming up with something you know I'm sure I'll have more stuff absolutely we'll see you when we see you here next year or if we see you somewhere else this year yeah yeah they were talking about the you know the uh Middlebury one you know thought of you know maybe signing up for that okay yeah I think we'll be there this year yeah yeah we haven't done that yet so that oh yeah we haven't done it either so yeah we're talking to Deb I remember last name but she says like 700 bucks six days you know factory tour yeah you know to fix stuff for you some nice activities and uh you know they have full hookups they got their own Campground and stuff so that's a pretty good price I think yeah yeah you know yeah so yeah we're gonna try it out this year yeah all right thanks Dave all right sure thanks so it is Sunday morning and I think everyone's getting ready to pack up and leave from the meet up here so I think we'll have breakfast the Sunshine State RV guys are supposed to be bringing us breakfast here so we'll have breakfast um everyone here is probably going to pack up and get out of here Lola and I may go back to the show spend some time hanging out in the ssrv booth but uh yeah it's really cool it's always good to see you know other people that are into van life in this case you know the folks that own Beyonds and there's still a whole bunch of Beyonds here on Sunday so there's a bunch behind me hours of somewhere back there there's Beyonds everywhere there in the sun there's some Beyonds over here on this side there's actually some novas and uh we got some gallerias out there but way back there more Beyonds so I do lower my handlebars okay can you loosen those up before you so you can loosen it first oh you loosen it here yeah it's just four four bolts yeah that's okay position it in front of the rack and then I pull it back but I pop a wheelie so I use my rear yeah okay and I sit it on the rack right there okay that's gonna allow me to slide it in almost almost there we go so the front wheels version then the rear wheels next correct and then also same for this one I'll pull that down and then the way these work these ratchet okay easy okay um what I also like about this rack once I put the cover on here the cover goes in front of the license plate but when my rack is up you can see this license plate right but now you can't see it but watch this this is really nice rack attack wonderful and these are wired they are wired so there is a cable that when you want the lights to work left right rear brake you power those from the toe receptacle down there yeah yeah yeah okay and I also I love the cover this is this is made by obsidian okay okay and first of all these are it's reflective tape and this also comes with grommets gotcha and so that once we put it on there it does come with two straps that affix underneath they're fine and they work but I actually you know I use a few extra straps just to stop it from flapping and sure those grommets are nice because I can route them right around route them around there yeah that's pretty cool yeah how much do each of these bikes weigh without the battery I think they weigh about 65 pounds as you yeah I think it's 63 you know 1665 if you travel with the battery which we don't because some people will steal the batteries but even though they're lockable we choose to travel with those off those are another well I think four or five pounds I got you yeah so and I was gonna say it's got to make it a little easier to load the bike without the weight of the battery now one other thing here so these e-bikes come with um what would be considered fat tires okay right so when we we purposefully bought this rack both to accommodate the weight but also the space of the tires so we had to install a spacer kit here oh you that I I did that one right just to make sure there was enough with so which brand bikes are these e-bikes so these are both rad Runner Brad Runner and rad Runner Plus and uh they're you know there's some minor differences they're very similar bikes red Runner plus comes with a banana seat and fold down pegs so that if two people wanted to ride you know a passenger you could do that yeah and it has a heavier duty front suspension a bigger light we could do it all over again I'd probably buy two of the green ones the rad runners okay because there's about a 400 difference really okay gotcha all right and the mistake I made looking at the e-bikes is I I over emphasized the importance of uh battery life you know oh my gosh how strong is this one versus that one yeah because quite frankly we've never you know run out of juice they last quite a long time because they should take about 40 miles or something 70. 70 miles it depends on also how fast right right but or without a shirt and pedal assist versus the throttle right so you know there's a hand throw but I mean the other things to consider are weight are they foldable right on that type of thing and then when we lock them which we should have done before we put the cover on your Amy there's the foldable really make sure yeah it's foldable really a very big feature or not really because if you're gonna have a rack you don't really need calories we had a uh he has just traded up to an echo Steve but he actually removed he was a Solo Traveler uh-huh he removed his passenger seat oh yeah and he folded it up in a bin yeah and put it in a bin now there's this other couple hanging Lola strange don't know if you've ever seen him oh yeah I don't know these um electric scooters oh that's yeah those are pretty cool I think that might be good then you wouldn't lighter it's very it's like it's much lighter and easy yeah I like that plan so where do you have a uh do you have a hit for that uh and anything can be cut through so you're all you're really trying to do is delay them have them go someplace else so there's a couple locks one's called kryptonite kind of shaped like a u-bolt those are fine um we actually like this as well this is this is just a knockoff brand West biking but it reminds me of those old-fashioned um tape rollers that would fold but what this allows us to do is the length we were after and it's a little more difficult to cut through than the cable but you're going to want to secure your back tire not your front because the front tire is removable to the frame okay and these store on the bike there's a really nice they you know they float up yeah when you arrive yeah really really nice little area that they they store in there you go that's it so next the only thing we'll do is we'll put some straps on here just to just to stop this and say and save life of the cup so you've got the first you got the rad bikes so we got that we got the rack correct which the rack is what's right the rack is the the model is called rack Rak attach it's from a company called one up okay um actually they were separate companies one up bought rack attach and there's two pieces to this okay there's the the actual um hitch that goes goes into your receiver and the rack itself that falls down I mean okay and then the cover and the cover and then the ties and one last consideration we didn't show this but this actually pivots okay the rack the rack does it both correct it pivots and it tilts down which allows us access to you know the back doors and transport egg use your e-bikes but guess what they tell the audience oh Rob and Amy Rizzo and uh we also have a channel called Beyond The Adventure Beyond now is that where we do metal work or is that where you do the art view work that's what we do that is where we do the RV traveling and we have a Coachman beyond beyond the adventure and I'm also a metal detectorist and I have a channel called the history Digger the history digger I am I'm ready when he is all right thank you morning Russ how are you today I'm good beautiful babe it sure is no wind I appreciate that yeah first time morning Shelley how was your weekend it was perfect loved being here right morning guys good morning [Music] hello who's here good morning any words of inspiration and the word of inspirational um profoundly grateful that's what it is grateful yeah for all of you every one of us we are I mean it's an amazing group but but it's all about the it's all it comes back to full circle to the people every time that's right so I always share every time well my I think I said it last year year before and I keep saying it you know like you and Hank you thought you were buying a van and you did you knew you'd be traveling and exploring and going to new places and you are but you didn't expect all this all these beautiful people it was just wasn't on our radar and look what we got talk about a gif I say it's a gift from God you know fantastic phenomenal yep so thank you so much uh yeah I think it ended up being about 75. yes 60 Beyond but then we had plus we had day timers too so I thank you to you and Hank a stranger palooza site for covering everything filming it documenting it for history for history and Beyond and Beyond thank you Lola you're a doll all right look who I found Nick Schmidt of sunshine state RVs number one dealer of almost State of Florida number three in the country whole country number three it has been great I have not been back here as much as I wanted because we've been so busy uh selling these beautiful RVs but uh this has been a great Thursday night was phenomenal there's hundreds of people here hanging out and everybody that walked into our little booth of the show just talked about how how thankful and welcoming and and pleasant to everybody in this group was so this has been a great group a great weekend and uh Lola it's cool that that you're like the uh brand ambassador for Coachman Class B's I mean how cool is that right like I mean you're quitting your pharmacist's job to do this right you know I'm not not quite not yet all right all right I'll talk to coach they need to anti up their ambassadorship so you can quit your day job and just travel on the road and do this full time living the class beach living beyond your dreams that's good yep dinner this is huge yeah yeah appreciate it it's dinner for 200 people 200 people were here yep was awesome yes yes it was good today we're getting breakfast Panera Bread yep yep Panera's pulling up any minute now we're gonna do Bagels coffee and like a little send off for everybody to you know thank them for coming and hanging out you know this is a huge asset to us as sales as a sales team to say hey don't take my word for it don't take my sales people who've never lived into beyond go back there there's 50 Beyond 60 Beyonds and gallerias and Nova's back there I mean Steve from the Galleria Group sold single-handedly sold a Galleria for us yesterday single-handedly guy walked in and said Steve sold it the best sales is is talking to somebody who's in it and experience it and loving the light that's right and at the booth I would say you had everything oh my God everything we did we did lots of Road Track Road Winnebago Dynamax Dynamax was there yeah I mean your booth was cranking yeah yeah and I think a lot of times we brought folks over here we mentioned this whole Gathering the buyers you know wanted to come over again your team brought them over and gave an opportunity to kind of mingle and we actually had Shelly one of our sales staff camping here all weekend with you guys in and Beyond yeah you know I think all you do for all these folks yes you guys are still servicing their vehicles matter of fact Monday and Tuesday you carved out both days oh they're slam full I made the announcement Thursday night Friday at 9 30 Ryan my my service guy called me he's at Nick I got more Beyonds and gallerias and novas coming in Monday and Tuesday than I know what to do with he's like stop telling people so yes everybody Monday and Tuesday all day is just for this group here so so we we want to you know show everyone not just that you know we want to feed you guys we want to gather you guys but also there to fix your reviews for you awesome Nick thank you so much yes thank you Lola appreciate you guys and also the brand of Coachmen and and and you know obviously you know this is not my brand I mean I didn't make this I don't build it I just sell them and try to help everybody but it's just so cool that everybody's goal here is a to enjoy your life have a great RV have freedom but also to really build a brand and to help our dealership so you know from a from a small business owner to all of you guys I say thank you you know our team thanks you guys for all the Praises I know Shelly it has been camping with you guys have you guys met Shelley yes oh yeah did she sing karaoke last night no we're not telling okay in in Bethany and Stephanie for setting all this up they've done a great job [Applause] and everybody you know coming Cole's done a great job too Cole actually sold an RV [Applause] cool that that you guys should build in this brand in this community and it's great so so many familiar faces um I say thank you guys thank you to everybody I don't always remember everybody's name perfect but I'm about 50 about 50 the name tax help um but but yeah so breakfast is here um everything is done you guys kind of start wandering out whenever you want um if you guys have appointments tomorrow we'll see you again tomorrow or uh Tuesday I've talked to a few already and uh it's been cool a few people upgraded their crossfits to Beyond that's that's pretty neat foreign [Applause] it's like Woodstock yeah [Laughter] [Applause] for more some empty spots over there yeah I don't know why we can't have more so hopefully we can have a hundred next year we had 50 this year again allegedly David we have 50 worst teams right there we have 50 50. oh yeah sure sure no more than that no more no more they charged me per night oh it was 20. yeah so okay awesome well thank you guys bless you have safe travels and uh if you guys need anything at all you know where we're at and thank you thanks to you guys [Applause] amazing [Laughter] good morning Chuck hey Lola so this is our our Ford Transit and this is a bug wall fact this just arrived uh we installed it last Sunday and so this is our first trip with it but uh it's really good quality material at the bottom here uh covering up our garage it's insulated material so that'll insulate and then you can roll this up [Music] do a better job of it installed this bug wall it took 15 minutes okay and so you you pull off this rope start at the top you pull off the rubber The Grommet no this stuff okay the the door seal you pull out pull that off you clean the flange uh you put they they Supply some tape with it you put the tape up you position it where you want it and then you just go along and pound pound it back down you come down the sides pulling it tight pounding it down okay you trim the edge and you're good to go okay so there's no you don't have to cut all right no no no no no nothing nothing like that uh you can zip this entire panel off we can roll it up to get it out of the way uh the nice thing about it is I can access the stuff in my in my garage here and still not have bugs come in exactly it comes with a a solid uh very heavy but clear heavy vinyl they will zip over so like if you're snowboarding or something you can protect your bed and still get to your garage so um It's Made in the USA by a guy in South Carolina okay and uh like I said this is our first trip with it and so far it's it's it's performed better than we hoped it would oh it looks great it looks great fits really well too I like that he makes them also for um uh the Sprinter and the ram okay and you can depending on where your bed is you can customize how high you want this section to be or if you have like the D model uh you can get a full screen and and if you're going to do that they have them also with a magnetic closure in the middle I see uh and they also sell them for the side doors too so there are so there are some customizations oh yeah yeah totally yeah yeah when when you when you go to the website you can customize all that stuff and is this the website thebugwall.com yeah okay got that all right what else does the blood wall make I saw that and went right to it so you'd have to go to the website and see check that out yeah all right great and what else do you have on the outside here we added these um no seam screens for the front okay and made by a guy in his garage it's really heavy duty no seam screening and certainly enough bolts on it to hold it together and you just lower the window down and it slips in and you push the window back up again and you have ventilation in the front I see okay that's another easy mod to do yeah yeah we like that yeah the only thing that we don't have to drill holes or cut yeah yeah and or yeah or do anything but you know one of the things is that like my wife will sit and we'll put the max air fan on and she'll be sitting in the back with the windows open and she's really really comfortable I'm sitting in this chair and if we have the the door closed it's kind of like you're sweating it out and so this and also with our little dog this could start some ventilation as well that's great that's awesome it's where is that available it's a guy named Greg Johnson and and you just message him if you go out to uh our Facebook the the Beyond Facebook site it's out there or also the embassy Facebook site also Embassy uh RV Facebook site also has contacts for them okay and his name is Greg Johnson Greg Johnson yeah all right you bet hey great talking to you hi Nicole now and Kelly Natalie Ellie got it so now you've got something interesting in your bathroom we have a bidet so we installed this bought it on Amazon it's a whole toilet seat cover by uh hibbit is the name of the company okay and so basically the line that comes out at the bottom uh you just retrofit that um with but this is the standard ceremy toilet um so you just had to buy some components my husband knows more about that I don't know anything about it um and then yeah this is just the toilet lid gotcha so I imagine I imagine the kid probably came with all the components needed to get it set up um we did have to buy some some component retrofit an RV but it wasn't that difficult and then we did I will say um we did have to um Notch out right here on the toilet lid because you see where the porcelain toilet has this little bump I see so in order to get the toilet seat to lift all the way all the way up I have to notch it out a little bit yeah just want to let people know we just took an angle grinder it's plastic and it wasn't a big deal it was easy to do yeah okay all right so the function of this is that you use the switch on that side that's just a little switch watch out because I don't mind and then it comes out gotcha washes your tiny or your front side interesting that keeps you all fresh and clean so the funny thing about this I just I just saw this video about the history of the day right Hank shared it with me and it was so interesting that when I heard that there was owners here that actually had this I had to come see it absolutely so this is this is a really cool one little Rave about also these we were at um a home show there was some vendors selling these Camp champ champ but if you notice my van doesn't have that typical chemical smell and these are like microbes or something okay and we came across this at a home show I think Tampa um and a blue one and then this clear one and there's no smell whatsoever it's the blue and the clear two different types of products two one is like one you use it all the time and then one is like a deep clean like ever so many months that you put it in there and let it sit overnight but I love those because there's no chemical odor anymore no you're absolutely right so it smells just like my household bathroom yeah I'll definitely look that up and see if it's a big one and you can get it on Amazon oh we ordered it and then my husband went to Amazon found it and so that we could have it in our other one in Georgia okay perfect so I'll definitely put a link in this video here for people I don't I'm not affiliated with them I just it is important with a small space like to make sure that all the odors the smells are kept out of there that's the biggest reason why I actually don't cook in the in the coach I prefer to cook outside so it doesn't sync everything up yeah yeah so I think you'll enjoy those if you hunt them down on Amazon will do all righty thank you so much for showing this to me I appreciate it thank you okay hopefully you guys got an opportunity to check out some really cool rigs let us know what you think about that I think the final one Lola we should just do ours we should just show our rig which is this one right here this is Morgan our van and I think we can just just quickly go through it and show you guys what we use what you know we don't use how we have it set up and all that kind of stuff new things since last video yeah but you know we could bring people all the way up to speed so starting right here this is my uh ham radio antenna so I am a ham radio probably not a very good one I do have a ham radio set up in here I went to the stubby yeah yeah we did so we did a stubby antenna yeah which lots of people have done have done probably seen that on a lot of people's Vans here's something everyone needs to get like you know I always tell people don't go rush out and buy a bunch of stuff but chairs always helpful we bought these at Walmart yeah there's a lot of expensive really cool chairs or you could just get some cheap ones because you're probably going to leave these things behind the expensive ones I hope you don't yeah uh we've got a Bucky's mat here but Matt is always good uh this is just like probably just a cheap mat I saw Bucky's and I like Bucky's so I got it but a mat is always very useful uh Lola just picked this up on the way here because the other mat we had those get messed up all the time yeah and this actually is not the best because it makes a lot of a lot of dirt so I this is probably not going to get used but it's cool for being it's cool for being out here yeah so just uh out here that I could see we did meet the guys from sea sucker at SEMA show at the end of last year so this is the cup holder from sea sucker it's I put it on here this morning it's holding good on the door but if you if you slide that door in Lola we've got some other stuff and Lola took some of the stuff down because everyone has to get out of here soon at some point they're going to come kick us out so here's the table today so this here is the kitchen it's a sea sucker kitchen assembly so here is where I had the sink uh set up earlier when I was cooking over the weekend this is the paper towel holder which comes in handy to wipe things up this is a spice rack where I was putting the salt and pepper and everything and then here I had the garbage yeah yeah so and then also we've got recovery boards these are match tracks and so they've got you know this has been on here for a while now since I got the recovery boards and basically you know they hold up so we actually drive with this this will remove cup holder we'll remove and put inside but this actually stays out here it's been great and I know people have asked me before well how do you keep someone from stealing it we have these straps I can't remember the name of them now but Lola could put something in the description that there's actually a steel cord through this so if you want to steal these you'll have to cut that plus if something happened and I wasn't paying attention it would hold it but these have been pretty good you know you just check and make sure you're not seeing orange but these These are good like I'm shaking the van so um we've got the backpack from illuminesce and the ladder Pelican Brief yeah in case yeah I did an upgrade for this which I think I have a short or something out but I keep the dirty hoses in here and um of course I got this uh shovel and everything from aluminess as well yeah and the ladder on the side there yeah I think that's everything that's out here so far um yeah we use these scooters they're all-wheel drive so both Wheels uh are powered um you can't inflate the tires or anything like that so it's kind of bumpy but because it's all-wheel drive you can ride over grass and all that kind of stuff oh Lola you're gonna give us a demo oh let's see how much skills you have let's turn that thing on go for it let's see come on and there you go look Lola's a pro now don't run me over yeah there you go so we use those just to zip around and I think Lola's we didn't even charge and it's been fine um did you turn it off yeah and mine I had to charge up but so these are pretty good in an event you charge it up one time and you should relatively be fine um in my experience unless you're just using it all the time Crocs are always good to have oh yeah so you know you get out of your shoes after you've been walking around all day you could just slip in and out use them to shower yeah but we've got we've got different ones for that so now let's go into the van I don't know obviously excuse me yeah Lola that box has a bunch of the other parts let me put the lights on in here um so look out so this box has a bunch of the other parts that Lola was using from sea sucker there's a link in the description sometimes we will get a code from them to save money but it is an affiliate link so we get a little bit of money when you guys buy sea sucker stuff using that um so big thanks to that oh let me do this so we saw Matt from Matt's RVs yesterday and he's got this liquefied RV toilet treatment that he gave us uh to try out so I'm gonna try that out and share that with you guys but congratulations to him very cool guy he's always been really cool with us so shout out to Matt's RV reviews liquefied one of the things people ask us about a lot is the bed can you do this on your own Lola without me listen and so this is our bed it's all connected and we've we've done a video with the board we had a board that we put across it but there was actually a gentleman which I'm my apologies your name is escaping me that's on the users group that came up with a really good idea for this uh of some slats that he got from uh Ikea Ikea oh by the way we got a Dometic this bag has a blanket in it that we use you put on there I don't know almost got our Hest pillows pillow yes these are really good originally we were using just regular household pillows and then we came across this at Overland Expo West last year and we picked that up and these are Hess pillows and this is what I love about it yep compact you just zip this bad boy up in this memory foam and shredded memory foam in here and you can request more if you want like a thicker foam or a thicker pillow you can request more and they will send it to you but it's memory foam so it just conforms to your head so I really like that it's easy to pack up too so I'm gonna throw this over to you and that there I'm gonna try to do this one-handed but this is actually easier from what we saw so should be relatively easy to show this to you guys let's just move some of the stuff over so now there's gonna be there's obviously a gap when you shift this over so our Gap is filled by uh our friend Rodney gave us this from his van I think he has a seat yeah so that could flip back up don't worry about being super neat Lola we don't have time for the video okay so here's the slats so just show that here I'll help you lift this up Lola so there's the slats you can actually just pull that out that's it it's actually a lot easier so that's here lift this up never easy to uh record something and do it at the same time but don't worry about being okay I'm gonna just let you go Lola because yeah so basically if you lift this up don't worry about I think people get the idea I think you guys could see that so really relatively quickly if I was uh hands-free here I could actually show you guys that so really quickly we could uh fold this up and if you look at this I'll just show you it's the luroy okay from Ikea Leroy there's the code and everything so this you can really just roll up into a bundle and then you can pack that away so that's cool this is what it looks like you can put your table back up yep and all that stuff so I think that's is that it yeah that's to me the biggest new addition we got this weekend we trusted out this weekend and that's what we used right the whole weekend oh you know what Lola there is a bonus but you're gonna hate me for this you got to put all the pull all the cushions over here so I'm just gonna do this now yeah put everything over here just follow the captain Lola follow the instructions of the captain El Capitan the copied tuti copy oh I know what church is okay just don't don't there you go now you got to move this out the way listen I didn't sign it to be there right over here okay just pop it up can I pop it up like this no no no just pop it this way pop it this way okay cool now this is our old board that you guys can see down here and we've just got it in because we we didn't have time to like test out just seeing all this stuff with us on the road so we'll move this this won't be in the van anymore because of the luroy which works awesomely we're gonna flip this up Lola all right watch your toes watch your toes all right so check this out guys so we've had some uh improvements here let's put it that way to the battleborn system so before we had the eight d right batteries I think I'm saying that right we had the eight DS one was inside one was outside but I think because of that difference there was a problem and one of them you know just like really got into bad shape and we had to replace it but battleborn um gave us two of these game changers instead to try out because we had to put them right next to each other so big thanks for to battleborn for helping us out with that um this I think is a better setup they're right next to each other so they're going to charge at the same rate and that was what the problem was and then these you know as you can see we were able to tuck in there and the guys at sunshine state RV were able to move if you remember I'll try to find some old footage and roll it all in so now this is our setup two batteries same size as the 8D so these are 270 each so 540 it's all here the inverter is right here these are the DC to DC Chargers two of them right there and then all the other gubbins that I'm not an expert of but a lot of that works a lot better now and because the batteries looks better cleaner yeah they cleaned it up for me so one of the things I would say is that you know I I'm telling people that if it was me I'll just buy with a lithium setup obviously I bought it with a generator and the agms and I wanted a generator but I wanted lithium so you do these upgrades you know sometimes there's a learning curve for it I think with me I've learned a lot from this next time around I would just buy it but if you do this you're gonna have to figure out some stuff because the old components the old components aren't going to necessarily work as well with you know with your van the way it was made that's just you should just expect that right you may have to change a bunch of things so we have and I think this is working a lot better now we've got no problems charging Etc you know ultimately here I think it's a good setup you know we just had to learn some things about like separating them we thought we could do it by having one inside and one outside and running the same the longest length cable going there is the length of cable for the one that was inside but remember you also have like temperature difference as well so all of those things together not a good idea if you're going to do it have all the batteries in the same place that's what we have going on here so I think that's it right Lola yeah much better system yeah so there you go I'll give you guys one last look I'll jump outside Lola pack all of this up woman we got it again yeah we got to get out of here before we get in trouble I delegate that job to you all right okay oh and the bag fell out here so that's okay because you can just throw it in the washer yeah here you go there you go Lola catch it foreign so anyway having a little fun with Lola we are probably gonna get kicked out of this way soon though so we gotta go so there you go are you coming out to end this with me Boo come on I'll let you come out I'll let you be on this one Lola doesn't get all my jokes I don't think Lola gets all my very funny jokes about stuff so well all your jokes aren't funny oh okay so anyway all right guys so I think happy anniversary by the way oh yeah happy anniversary I have allowed Lola to be married to me for 24 years yes you have I feel like a saint how do they sanctify you as a saint I have no idea what does that thing called somebody will tell me you know put in for me to be sanctified so no thanks for dealing with me for being married to me for 24 years I think we've known each other for 27 yes 27 years so anyway I hope you guys enjoyed that and I hope you got some good ideas from what we saw here very cool things and it was a lot of fun hanging out with the guys here at the Beyond Meetup in Ocala at the Ocala RV Show yeah uh Ocala Horse Park has been awesome to everyone here and we appreciate those guys and uh you know big thanks everyone here was so open and welcoming and all that kind of stuff with me and why you moved why are you moving why are you moving so anyway your arm isn't in my face okay there you go you happy with that yes right so big thanks to all the folks out here that we saw that watch the channel and support us we really we love you guys big thanks to Dean for doing this Sunshine organizing everyone yeah Sunshine State and Coachman as well for doing all that stuff uh for the sake of my arm I'm gonna get out of here but big thanks we'll see you all right bye guys
