[Music] hello everyone welcome to my youtube channel in today's episode i'm going to show you how we can create clouds using the unity particle system so let's get started start by creating a new particle system and rename it to clouds underscore particle system reset its transform and set its y position to 100 okay set the max particle size to three and after that check pre-warm and we need a texture for our clouds uh maybe something like this this or like this you can create it in photoshop or you can look for one on internet i will drag and drop this texture into my project check alpha's transparency a new material and rename it to clouds underscore matte and set shader to legacy shader particles alpha blended drag and drop your texture here drag and drop this material onto your clouds particle system like this okay now here you can see your clouds okay next is set the start lifetime to random between two constants and [Music] the values will be 15 and 20. the start speed will also be random between two constants and the values will be zero point five and one and start size will also render between two constants so the values will be 50 and 150 [Music] okay that looks great we will select a gray color and reduce its transparency to 75 okay then [Music] set the emission to 5 because we do not need that much emission now inside shape module we will select a box a box looks great now set the scale to 600 and 600 so basically this is how our clouds are going to generate okay i think 600 is a bit too big of a space so let's change it to 500 and 500 that's better now check color over lifetime [Music] add two keyframes here set this one to zero and this one also to zero after that set rotation over lifetime set random between two constants and the values will be minus five and five so that's it this is how they will look from below [Music] so i think the rotation should be a bit more minus 20 to 20. now they are moving 10 is enough minus 10 to 10. so you reduce the opacity and it's ready 300 would be enough okay now restart it and this is how you create clouds using the unity particle system so i hope you enjoyed the tutorial make sure to hit the like button and subscribe to our youtube channel for more videos we will see you in a new video goodbye
