they've got to go shopping like during the quarantine thing um that quarantine so yeah that's how we work they didn't get to go pick out like any of their summer clothes i just did it and got like you know too small something that they didn't love i just had to go buy guesses so they get to go pick out some things today so they are a little excited for that right good stuff so we're going to go do that today we're going to take james draw prop go ahead to church and then go do some shopping and bring you along so ready for a good day you guys ready for a good day all right let's go bye have a where brooklyn gets her jeans here and we know that they fit because when it like the summer time was here and we had to like find pants that fit and when you couldn't try anything on or return anything we're like in the store stretching it across or trying to get to work and i'm like i feel like this will work so i think this one is so we had to go by like it's hard oh look at the mini doggy look at that that's funny sorry but yeah so it's kind of hard when you're a teenager going from like girls 14 16 to teen because it's not like you go to one or two yeah or three or four it did well it just depends on what your size is so we just had to guess but we did catch up guessing so we're gonna go in here get some jeans and then if anything else is on sale but if not we'll go over to tj maxx and go in there so we're gonna go there looking cute okay we're gonna go in maddie and air oil one second see we got maddie and i are looking here look at brooklyn pick this one out look at how cute that is what i found in clearance this is like literally like 10 bucks or something ridiculous i got that for me and i got this this is really pretty i have um another brown one like this this one and then that one and these are like they're sixteen dollars so that's how i think that's cute that's so cute for full time so we did good and these would be good for summer just comfy and four every five so we don't know so we both spot two their jeans for like twelve dollars you can't even get those out there they're normally like 40. walmart doesn't even sell jeans for twelve dollars and they're like nice and this is like really nice so we're gonna put these in from the truck we got room in the truck yeah we do we're gonna go run over to tj maxx decided to drive instead of walk through the mall because it's on the other side so we're gonna go there it is super sunny we're gonna go over to tj maxx we found for maddie for twelve dollars let me see your other thing maddie look at to go with her jeans and this how fancy would you find brooklyn this is the fuzzies look at this oh it'd be real tight on the arms i've had a shirt like that do you like that feeling because i had christian and i read that book and i was like genius and it was just all principles of running his business the way that um that god would have it not working on sundays doing different things it was a really good business book and i was like that was a pretty it's a little small book like 80 pages or something but it's just a good i'm going to give you guys that how did you do it true we have to get that book so we're gonna get some chick play some delicious lunch and then go ahead to walmart it's raining and lovely and sad it's nice that we have some clothes yeah you guys got a lot of good stuff today betty maddy hit the jackpot for clothes maddy's usually the hand-me-down girl because she's got her and her hand-me-downs then we get clothes they're usually her size so she usually doesn't get a whole lot of new stuff but today was maddy's day because she just put that and she's like i like this i like this so she had a lot of cute stuff so autumn's got to get a few more things i think brooklyn was almost done so we're just gonna yeah some more pants and stuff so garments secret things we look so white i know it's so weird the colors there point it down there we go sorry down working those cameras up all right so we're gonna get lunch you know the delicious so many fries i mean i can take those sauces the thing that they love this look at delicious chick-fil-a got like it was good i got this the girl club it's funny everybody like i said i just saw them we don't go there all the time so we don't know chick-fil-a like don't buy chick-fil-a so then we're driving by them like oh look at the menu there's so many more things and so i said i'm just used to everybody going there that knows everything but we're like they had all these things so we're not we're not what's the word born into the chick-fil-a world which is kind of implanted here so all right we're gonna eat we go shopping okay can't go wrong with chick-fil-a so i'm getting introduced to this whole k-pop world over so then i was just it called me mold and i'm okay with that i was like did he have the same blue color hair in the last video and i see he's kind of like no i said i was like blonde i'm like one of those pups like you know little cake pops and stuff like is k-pop and k-pop like the same thing they're because of the curl for hair because they have different colors pops okay pops k-5 that's okay i'm old mom i'm okay sure okay yeah it's good there's yeah you know your teens are gonna listen to music mama's just don't get freaked but it's at least it's not like i guess yeah it's for the sauce i'm loving the sauce i don't usually like sweet i mean i'll try it it's pretty good try it with the sauce delicious all right we're gonna go in and we're gonna finish this then we're some masks for the kids you know it's always a good day when you kind of mess with your kids so donuts and video game ones we've got some people here let's go to nicknames and bones what oh it's a decorative bath down here we need some a shot oh no shower curtain right over here i need a shower curtain the boys bathroom i have to do gray as much as i don't want to do gray i'm gonna have to do a nobody's in there i need that for the girls but they don't even have any which is weird do you not sell shower curtain liners yes that's a pretty shower set oh good broken oh there we go broken found more okay we need the liners look for the oh that's what i have in there should i just get that again or should i do this one for the boys i guess it doesn't matter i like that one i still like one more of those because that's the only purple one right that one and then i need them look at this blue one right here looking oh that was cute then you need liners right here i need i think is this all they have i hate to have the thick one for you guys but we got pillows okay two of those we need to get sheets i forgot pillowcases probably this water i named me some bissell i don't want spot does that just mean she's growing up i think so all right let's go get some shoes i lost my cart she wanted to push the car but i lost her now because uh she's looking at her fun magazine how much fun let's find some leggings here oh 14 16 for autumn this is what it's the leggings we buy every single year for beginning of time four dollars all right i'm just gonna go for the green pants here and got tank friendlies that's what you wear all right let's go find lauren stuff for late lauren's uh for lauren's like you know bachelorette party so since you know usually by the bride some you know pajamas and so i'm having the girls get her pajamas so this is what maddie and autumn picked out for her so because that'll be the fun one so they got that for her so much fun cats and bunnies and dolls i love it so cute so the girls are going to pick up something for her jaden and brooklyn are going to go with ashlynn myself and tracy see anything broken you're gonna look through here that's what you're doing and so when i talked to her i was like um you guys are gonna go buy whatever you guys want for your bedroom attire so i said that's gonna be a personal preference so i talked to tracy and i said i'm more practical and she's like i am too i said let's do groceries for them for a week so we are actually gonna buy them groceries for our gift because you know you can go on bedroom attire but you're still gonna have to eat that week so we decided to do a week's worth of groceries so we're going to actually do that for her bachelor has the mom the girls are going to get a funny funny pajamas all right lauren yeah closing wants to get to that can't adult today brooklyn's going to get jess hanging around for her so with a little sloths on there so those would be fun fun jammies for oh good so that's kind of weird nobody's even in it that's kind of fun oh that's a pretty one you want to get another one these are what is it mega oh it's like uh there's a sword and they stand on like that for a dollar this one and then these are really good water bottles you grab some of those so we'll get this for this one you pick one you get one brooklyn and i'll do gold paper you want to get a different we should get her that one because that's what she says forever yeah but she doesn't need a huge bag it's just little wizard that way oh yeah so we got some bags for lauren's home last night and then she's like i really don't want to be here so her face i call this one so her face she's like laying because her all her stuff is here so she's sleeping on maddie's little bed on the bottom yeah like you know by herself and she's just like she's like oh i really don't even want to be i really just don't want to be like great laura we don't even want you here why don't you get air matches and sleep in the living room i'm gonna sleep here matthew can sleep on the couch so living lauren's still fighting with all that she's like twenty-one we're doing that completely so she is uh yeah she's very much rather be here she came home so she could uh come watch the boys too thank you for that i'll be gone for the rest of the week thursday i'll come back thursday but only thursday we're getting a marriage certificate thursday so exciting so it's common wedding is coming soon really soon really soon like i came like when you said 25 days or whatever i was like what i'm it because it's disgusting so we're gonna be securing everybody we got the whole car jaden everett and the boys are back there so we're gonna go head home and hello oliver i know you wanted to stay home we had to come to lawrence well now we're going now we're gonna call your feet all right let me turn that on right here all right we just got home busy busy day it is 4 30 right now it's been a long good day but maxine's over there she look at her she just her bacon balls haven't squeaked in a long time and so okay look at her what's wrong with the bacon ball it's got a couple pointy things on it like the um you know like the little plastic tags the tags like there's they made it weird so it kind of pokes off but makes me laugh she's like i don't touch this thing so big she's super excited they didn't she usually has the pink ones which are down the hallway but those are all non-squiggers so we got that mixing and then what else do we got we have more more of these do you know what that is she's like uh i do can i have one so maxine is loving her little bacon ball in her little treat now so everybody's getting all their stuff tried on maddie just tried on her clothes do you love all your clothes maddie [Music] she has new stuff and she's growing up so she's she's getting to the girl age where it's all new things and all the girl things and she gives me one more no all new girl stuff which is exciting so we are glad to get that done so now the boys are like i want to get stuff and i'm like you guys are going thursday so thursday will be the boys trip today it's the thing so jensen he just keep it in the trash it doesn't drip he just opened the pizza sauce for me right now so what i'm gonna do it's 4 30. i pulled pizza crust yesterday remember and i just dropped it on me and we did not eat it because he was just today and we just didn't need to eat it so i'm going to make some this is maddie what is this this is my favorite dress that is very favorite it's good and modest it's all good yes super excited so she's loving all her stuff brooklyn's trying her stuff on autumn up there so many great deals today for so cheap i was like i was amazed at how cheap everything was at the store really like twelve dollars for a pair of jeans for a childhood they're like no they're like six dollars at goodwill when you buy them so that's actually a really good deal for brand new really nice things so i'm pulling the pizza crust right now jensen is gonna put some sauce on it for some cheese and pepperoni we're gonna put in the oven cause i gotta put everything away work on life talk to you guys and all that good stuff so jensen comes but jensen's going to make pizza today ready to pizza jensen all right you're going to make it yeah yeah [Music] okay now those are pizzas yes yes he's like don't put all these on there i'm like it is a pepperoni supreme pizza so we're going to stick these in the oven to get them bacon for dinner yeah like little brown ones watch your face do i put the pepperonis no all the sauce just the sauce in there [Music] i think i can put it all in one green container i'm not the great do the wrong one because i agree it'll be too big to freeze it so i'd rather do enough all right so what the pizzas are cooking i'm just kind of like getting myself together like what i have to do try to pick up get things the girls are trying to close good thing is i bought two pairs of pants for brooklyn brooklyn's the bigger size and autumn is the smaller size so that works out really good so i'm like okay we're just gonna go through and see what she actually needs because they're 12 12 which is awesome they'll go through and get their betty note jensen's pouring all the pizza stuff i forgot jane wanted me to save sauce so she gave the rest of that perfect so we put those in the freezer you put it right here you have the sausages put it real carefully okay [Music] all right and then put the containers put in the sink it's dirty thanks jensen all right so just i just filled all my pizza sauce into containers i left a little bit for jason so cleaning up getting things up put the water bottles in the sink what i'm gonna be doing tonight because it's going on five i'm gonna have to edit this video answer comments do emails all things i didn't do because we were out running for shopping today so but it is less stuff for life that is the day that i do this week even though you've had a whole lot in this video lauren's house tour all the shopping all the fun that we've been doing so this week is we're in 38 weeks all right so it's about paying off a small debt most of americans are in debt majority of americans are in debt or have some form of debt i think i remember doing a dave ramsey class one time it was like most the average number is like 35 000 in debt ah that's a lot of money being debt and guess what it does the bible talks about how you're slave to the lender oh you like don't owe a man anything because you become slave to lender that is so true because you just get bogged down you get bogged down you just have that spur-of-the-moment purchase and i just gotta have gotta have gotta have it's so cute we have learned like that we didn't have a lot of money which is great so for so many years we just had to do without or we did with less or we did with different and so i think that in our own past like what we've done it's like okay well we want that couch so we're going to save up until we have cash to buy that couch or we need a car okay let's save up if you can because sometimes it's impossible and you have to have a vehicle but looking to and go okay i'm going to save up so i can buy that car cash you know things like that groceries i don't watch youtube videos see people buying all organic food and lettuce which is awesome and then gmo and all these things are really expensive and then realize my super budget is super tiny and go i'm gonna buy that anyways no i have to do with what i can do for my family that's why i think one time i mentioned some about if you can feed your if you can only feed your i say only you can only feed your kids box macaroni and cheese and hot dogs don't feel bad for it because you do what you can do and not saying that it's gonna be great long term but god gives you the grace that that's how you can afford the time then that's how you're going to be okay and your kids will be fine eating it so you do what you can you formulate a plan you know before back in the day we were much more strict with our budget than we are now we never had things around my house i didn't have knickknacks i didn't have wall hangs go back and see my blog planet nutsoplane.com you can see pictures i did like a managers of their home and you can see different snapshots because i didn't have a camera you can just see different snapshots of my home and they're just very plain very plain i didn't have anything in the wall except we made some pictures with like decoupage one time that was it because it was easier to clean and keep cleaning so having more things makes it clean more things so the less stuff more life okay mama that's fizzy i like filming early because i don't get interrupted so you have to bear with my interruption so being in debt why is it important to pay off a debt because you know what if you're not slave to the lender it's so much more freeing in your life so how do you make that change you know how you do it you do it one bite at a time you look and you go okay is there a bunch of stuff in my house that i can sell and get rid of to make some money even if it's just a little bit here and there to put towards that debt to pay it off we're going to do that this week can i come back in coffee this week not eat out a whole month on coffee or drink out drink out all month long for coffee and put that money i saved and put it towards my debt can we choose to not eat out every single week if you do it every single week maybe just do it once a week during the once during the month and save that money and put it towards paying off the debt you know if you're going to have a garage sale like people go to garage sale still i when i was had garage sales i kind of left when i go to garage sales and people sit there mark everything with prices which i get that but in reality and then if you ask them if they take a lower price they say no but in reality they're putting them out there because they want to get rid of them so what does it matter what they get for it like just what's gonna happen is nobody's gonna buy it you have to put it back in your house my favorite way i did a garage sale is i put everything outside and i said take a bag whatever you want so i basically got a bag and i was like how about two dollars how about three dollars how about four dollars whatever just make it you know fair to the people but enough to get it out of your house because all you can do is scoop that back and put it back in your closet or attic or back in your garage it's gonna sit there for another three four years until you get sick of seeing it again and you're gonna pitch it to goodwill so have a great shot just get rid of it just get rid of it and say whatever don't say a quarter item say how about a bag for five dollars whatever you put in the bag for five dollars what really yes let them do it for clothing if you just if you don't do big appliances just to help get rid of it especially if you have a lot of things and then it also gets rid of things in your household so i know back in the day when we needed to pay off some debt i was like i have a lot of things accumulated in my house i can definitely sell off some things to make some money to pay off that you want to get and pay off that debt i want that mentality paid it out but it starts with doing something if you just pay the minimum amount do every single month forget it that credit card is just going to have it forever and ever and ever so look around your home today and go what can i do to pay off my debt sell something make a sale dude i think the facebook marketplace is a great place that people sell things now sell things on there you can make i think i so i know i sold i sold our futon i bought it for downstairs for an extra bed it was the most uncomfortable futon ever and i was like but it took up space wasn't really matching so i sold it i mean i don't even know it was half the price half the price but it's something that was in the way not going to get rid of so you know what let somebody else take it i sold my desk in my bedroom i bought that desk when i did my bedroom redo and then greg and to move into a shop so he didn't use the desk anymore well instead of having that desk that really didn't fit anything because it was a computer tower desk so i sold it got rid of it made the money for it instead of it sitting there taking up space taking my money so less stuff more life just move it i think this is there you go look at that that's dinner people that's gonna be dinner for the kids when they're hungry i'm like that'll work so i'm just gonna go over here and sit and get some stuff done and then um we're gonna be good i should go outside and talk to you guys let me do that all right so now that i've got my video i always like to show you at least what we're having for dinner you know if we have anything for dinner besides leftovers or a peanut butter jelly sandwich no just kidding sometimes we do paper and jelly sandwich i'm okay with peanut butter and jelly sandwich so today is gonna walk and see where i'm walking today has been a great day like a wonderful day i feel busy and like like it's been like running which is good that's tuesday that's how it goes and i'm okay with that i got their clothes that's all that matters because we're getting countdown to lauren's wedding and kids are gonna need clothes and you know gonna go oh let me show you these look at these things i can't believe just in the last like few weeks or months or probably about last week these things have like popped up so hugely i am definitely gonna get these next year these were just amazing right here they grew in my pots the one pots did good and then after the rain they got a little crazy with these i love the way this looks i'm loving how this stuff hangs down ruby so today has been a wonderful day like a great day one of those days where i'm like okay i wasn't feeling awesome this morning my allergies would bother me it rains and then it makes it awesome you know outside and you just feel everything and i had a little slow moving start but i got there and i did it and i'm like okay i feel good i feel good so now i'm not gonna do a whole lot of put away tomorrow you'll see me put more away putting things up for the shower curtains up things that i bought today get that done you know school all that fun stuff that we do when we're at home so tonight the girls will put the sheets on the bed they're gonna hang up all making sure sorry make sure there's nothing there maybe they're gonna hang up all their clothes put all that stuff away all the good things that kids uh will do which is awesome we're in a pizza it's gonna be a good chill night a good relaxing night i'm looking forward to it so i'm working on comments you guys thank you so can't because i have plans i mean i could have canceled but i'm glad i didn't because look at my day it worked out good so then i just got going and i moved and i'm like okay god you're gonna have to help me today i'm gonna look to you for encouragement and i did and i didn't dwell on how i was feeling even though i didn't feel the greatest and i was like all right lauren let's go look to you i'm just gonna okay my day we're gonna have a great day and i did and i had a wonderful day and here i am it's five o'clock at night and i feel good i really really do i'll get some good sleep tonight again and i'll just like my day is good so when you're having a bad day just when you wake up first thing you might feel yucky just go okay i'm feeling those symptoms i'm feeling that 150 or even 100 or even 90 but i'm gonna i'm gonna have a good day i'm gonna smile i'm gonna love my kids we had a fun time the day was not it wasn't uplifting music christian that i listened to every day long but my girls had a fun time showing me their kpop i call it kpop cake pop that's what that's the name of it that red perch was the cake pop kids but i got to see a little bit more of i mean i know what they do but now i get to see a little bit more they share be open to those things mom find out what your kids listen to don't freak out when you hear somebody and you're like oh my gosh she that person's the devil or that person's is or these people are evil don't do that kids are implies to think i used to think that you had to listen to this my kids should only listen to this they should only read books like this they should only and you can do that but one day they're gonna see the other side and they are gonna want to see what it is why is it i couldn't do it why could i not do these things let me share with you some wisdom that i've learned okay my older ones i was like then when they got the chance to it was like what is all this not that they were crazy and all that stuff but you know if i would have just allowed it if i would have just picked my battles pick your battles that's one thing lauren reminds me that a lot she's so good she's the girls were doing something let's do it i was like and she's like mom big battles your battles and i'm like you're right and i learned that because i know when we moved here we moved to a very southern baptist area we're not saying about those baptists but i remember she had her hair long her hair was purple she dyed it purple nobody down here died hair at the time at all and so she dyed her hair purple like the ends and that's okay it was fun i did it and i remember how judged she got and how people looked at her and at church the churches we attended they just looked at her and just kind of shunned her and i was like it's hair people it is hair hair grows back but guess what your heart i'm talking to other people your heart won't grow back it will be the same it'll be the same condemning so mamas aunts grandmas whoever you are when your kids are listening to this music and you're like what is it and i really did think i was kind of like do i have to listen to it find out what they're listening to and sit with them and hear it there was some today they put out and i was like ooh that girl's a little bit too much shaking her stuff that she should not be shaking so we got to talk about things we got to talk about their song we have to talk about the lyrics to things that they're listening to i got to talk about the way that that person perceives like like is that person really that way or is that the way that her company makes her appear look at her interview like how different she is versus when she's on stage performing it's like a performance like a fake person that she's being like an actor or an actress and so talk talk talk talk don't freak don't freak i mean if they're just jumping in okay and then talking about what they're listening to find these things out if you freak out they just run the other way mamas they do you just gotta talk so today was a k-pop introduction for me i've heard it before but i got to hear a little bit more today the whole car right now so it's okay we i you know what i smiled and enjoyed fun little song and so i'm like okay good day my girls had a good day but if i would have been like we are not going to listen to this music only mom's music guess what they would have not had a fun day they might have but they might have been like sure mom it's so much fun to shop with you it's so much now i'm not sure that my kids remember going shopping with their mom and having a good time listening to cake pop i'm gonna call it so build those bonds build those bombs mom pick your battles on what's important and leave the rest aside that's what you do all right i'm trusting you tell me i'm telling you this because i've learned from my mistakes i used to be the gotta be this way but i realized that doesn't work you gotta you gotta pick your battles on she's like i love this so nice all right so tomorrow is showing like 85 degrees sunny i hope and nice so tomorrow we are hoping for the pool i'm gonna go right now i'm gonna go inside and work on this video it's gonna take me about probably about two hours to edit it i'm glad i got to go do lauren's house tour which is exciting so i'm gonna go and edit this eat pizza make sure the kids get their stuff put away and that's it and then go to bed tonight tomorrow will be another day with amy i don't know we'll probably make some baking so we haven't done baking in a while maybe i don't know sometimes baking or some food at least some food baking at least to get something to you know put in the freezer and then instead of doing it all on friday so i think we're gonna do that and then we're gonna do school clean up get the house together and uh hopefully get the pool tomorrow that's my goal that's my goal but if it changes it might change but let's let's hope for i'm hoping for some sunshine i miss my pool i want to use a floatie and get there so the kids can play because summer is coming to an end i'm going along for summer but it'll be good i'll be here again next year right all right so i'm going pick your battles pick your battles pick your battles pick your battles with your daughters moms pick your daughters pick your battles with your mom don't always make everything be a fight just go okay mom really wants me to do this i'm going to do this and if not talk to her talk to her and share why don't yell don't scream just talk and the moms listen to what they're saying it'll go so much better so much better so but if you have a rule and that's your rule stick with your rule that's what you do but then done something i promise you there's so much worse ruby i promise you so much worse in the world that if you wish you would have bend a little bit you probably would want to so all right i'm gonna go have a fantastic fantastic wonderful rest of your
