A powerful interpretation, one that shows adequate restraint. This piece, unlike its "counterpart," the Appassionata, is defined by restraint and almost Mozartian precision. While some (myself included) disagree with some of the choices in this interpretation--his placement of the grace notes is my biggest gripe--one would be deaf to ignore the execution. A fantastic performance indeed.
