hi today I'm going to show you how to make an actual line analysis using the map the map is a tool for topological analysis developed by the University College of London and it is possible to do some some types of analysis such as convex based analysis actual line analysis segment analysis facility graph analysis between others you can find a link to download some work on the UCL webpage and it's very easy to install it and it's also free first you have to draw draw a map on AutoCAD with all the obstacles in your your area such as the blocks in the rain the rail and the water rivers or things like that then you have to export this file as a DXF format a and now we could we can go to the map and start working on it after creating a new new file you can import your plan from AutoCAD then the map will be visible in the drawing layer list an actual map can be draw by hand as well as generated automatically to draw on actual map first you need to create a new map and the map type is an actual map please okay and here you can start drawing actual lines after click clicking on the drawing icon so I'm going to generate a line along this street and and one along this one going to turn off this layer because we are going to use an easiest way to do this to automatically make an actual map we can use this tool and these to create an all actual line map which is a map which uniformly covered the open space with actual lines and now we can start analyzing the the map you have to go to tools actual convex page and choose run graph analysis here we have to make sure that this option is activate and we can set the radius as N or two or three then we have to just wait and voila on the website all the processed maps are presented you can find here a connectivity analysis which is a number of elements connected to a certain element the red line shows the streets with the highest connectivity values while the blue ones and show the shows the the less connected ones integration is defined as a degree value which a node is integrated or segregated from a system as a whole or a partial and the values from the integration shows number of turns to be made to to moving the street and represent how easy from I space in the street can be reached the red lines show the streets with the highest integration values while the the blue ones show the most segregated ones and finally another value that we get is the choice of betweenness and this value indicates how often an element is passed when calculating the shortest path between element by clicking on actual convex page we can create a with reduce line map we are going to turn off some of the layers to see the line we have to run again the graph analysis to convert the result with a all line maps and we can see here that this red line has a thirty 33 points of connectivity this one just just for terms of integration if we if we put the cursor out on a line we could consider the results we can export these big results I take in on edit export screen and we can select a EPS file to work later in in illustrator for instance once on use trader we could add some legends and change the stroke of the lungs and and that was all for this tutorial thank you so much
