hello and welcome to my channel at working with age in this session of CCNA series I'll be discussing about Cisco DNA Center the session is divided into following topics what is cisco DNA what is intent-based networking Cisco DNA Center controller and one of the benefits of you having a Cisco DNA central Cisco DNA also known as Cisco digital network architecture is Cisco's and architecture for enterprise networks it provides an open extensible and software driven approach that makes the network simpler to manage more agile and responsive to business needs cisco DNA is an intelligent system that encompasses policy automation analytics and open platform capabilities to deliver on all required aspects of an intern based network in case if you do not know what an intern base network is intent-based networking or i BN is a form of a network administration that incorporates AI also known as artificial intelligence network orchestration and machine learning to automate administrative tasks across a network the goal of Ibn or intern intent-based networking is to reduce the complexity of creating managing and enforcing network policies and reduce the manual labor associated with traditional configuration management cisco DNA is your team's bridge to an intern based network cisco DNA is a powerful network controller and management dashboard that lets you take charge of your network cisco DNA center is at the heart of Cisco digital network architecture and is the only centralized intent-based network management system to bring all this functionality into an integrated controller and present it to a single pane of glass cisco DNA central has two notable roles first the controller in a network that uses Cisco Software Defined access also known as SDA SDA and DNS central go together work closely together and any serious use of SDA requires the use of DNA Center ii rollers as a network management platform for traditional network devices with an expectation that one day DNA Center may become Cisco's primary enterprise network management platform the innocent row can manage traditional network devices Cisco DNA Center exists as a software application that Cisco delivers pre-installed on a Cisco DNA Center appliance the software follows the same general control architecture as shown in the figure Cisco DNA Center includes a robust not bound rest api along with the series of southbound api's for most of us the northbound API matches the most because as the user of SDA networks you interact with SDA using Cisco DNA centers northbound REST API or the GUI interface Cisco DNA Center supports several southbound api's so that the controller can communicate with the devices it manages you can think of these as two categories critical to support additional networking devices or software versions like telnet SSH and SNMP protocol to support more recent networking devices or software division such as net cons or risk on Cisco DNA center enables you to do lot of things such as automate it allows configuration and provisioning of thousands of networked devices across your enterprise in minutes not ours automation reduces manual operation and the cost associated with human errors resulting in more uptime and improved security another thing that DNA Center enables is secure policy based on business needs you can deploy group based secure access and the network segmentation which is coordinating Center you apply policy to users our application instead of your network devices another thing that DNS cetera enables is assurance Cisco DNA Center our users you works wired and wireless devices to create sensors everywhere providing real-time feedback based on actual network conditions with a quick check of health scores on the success coordination to dashboard you can see where there is a performance issue and identify the most likely cost in minutes another feature that DNA Center enables is extend Lacko system the new Cisco DNA Center platform IT can have integrated Cisco solutions and third-party technologies into a single network operation Cisco DNA central allows you to run the network with open interfaces that's it for today's session about DNA Center in the next session I will be discussing about endpoints please do like share and subscribe and share your comments thank you for watching
