sort of a collection of songs from my albums done in a more kind of acoustic jazz style but one of the real keys to the album and to the live performances we're doing now is the virtuosity of the musicians that i get to share the stage with each evening and the gifts they bring to the stage and tonight is certainly no exception again introduce these fine players to you now from new york city you might not be as familiar with this is from a 1996 album a song about missing the one you love when you're far from home as we are a lot of the time traveling on tour but you always have the moon and just kind of doing his own thing but a woman comes along and enters his frame of reference and he's all turned around doesn't know what to do and uh excuse me let me get this right it's a tune every new day kind of uh looking at your glasses being half full these days things are pretty tough but you need to keep that uh that mindset because you never know what tomorrow might bring and it's
