Christina Applegate Gets Standing Ovation at Emmy Awards in Rare Appearance

Love and Marriage go together like a horse and carriage this I tell you brother you can't have one without the other thank you so much oh my God Christina Applegate tears up during her standing ovation at the Emmy Awards it is my honor to introduce Christina Applegate the actress uses a cane as she steps on stage Monday a rare appearance for the TV vet oh by the way I have a disease um anyway um Christina shared her Ms diagnosis back in 2021 which came as Christina was filming the third and final season of dead to me you're totally shaming me with disability by standing up it's fine okay um body not by OIC after a couple of jokes Christina reflects on her decades spanning career including the Netflix dramedy a series that she says will most likely be her final role some of you may know me as Kelly Bundy from Married with Children um thank you we don't we don't have to applaud every time I do something um or Samantha from Samantha Who or probably maybe my last job from Jen Harding from dead to me thank you that was scary yeah Christina's performance landed her a nod for outstanding lead actress what are you doing how did you good behavior yeah of course and on our co-star James Marsen told us she's more than deserving of it's amazing I love seeing her nominated I mean she's family to me we we went through so much on the those three seasons of that show and she deserves everything and just makes me so happy to see her here and that stunning dress it's it's by Christian Serano the fashion designer shared this behind the scenes moment on the gram reminding Christina you are Divine and I will dress you any day of the week what a woman but very few of you probably know me from that debut I'm going to cry more than I've been crying baby Bert Grizzle on Days of Our Lives it was really a breakout rule is there a picture oh look at that my first acting role was in Little House in the prairie I was 11 compared to Christina Applegate I was a late bloomer yeah Christina's career is second to none and now as she battles Ms in the spotlight the nights honores pay tribute Christina Applegate did incredible work in dead to me it's been an honor to play funny flawed complex characters like the women nominated for supporting actress in a comedy series the Emmy goes to IO get your ass up here congratulations thank you so much yeah my goodness Christina Applegate gave you the trophy yeah I mean just such a special performer somebody I've been watched my whole life um such such an amazing woman um and I'm so like in awe of her her career but also her journey um one of my best friends has Ms and so I I it's just like so cool to to receive that moment from her thank you so much oh my [Music] God
