It's coming. We know in the year two thousand, the Lord will take us into the kingdom of heaven. Following Brother Lin and walking the path he led, will make us overcomers and we will be raptured! Now it seems that we don't know God's voice, nor do we accept what the Spirit says to the churches. How can we hope to receive God's new name? How can we be the Philadelphia Church, be raptured before Him? Only God's words are truth. Only God's words can be man's life. Man's word, no matter how pleasant it is, is not the truth. And man's spiritual theory, no matter how profound it is, can't purify or change man, which can only deceive and corrupt us, and harm. Men used by God are not God incarnate, and don't have the divine substance or the truth and life, so they're unable to do God's work of saving man. Men used by God can only assist with God's work, which is their duty as a man. But religious leaders, though respected, are not those who are used by God. Only Christ is the truth, the way, and the life. This is because Christ has divine substance, and He does God's work on behalf of God. It's only Christ who can perfect man and save man. Worshiping man, praising man, obeying man is the same thing as betraying God! Only accepting the judgment and chastisement from Christ and attaining perfection is truly being raptured into the kingdom of heaven. Just those who accept Almighty God's judgment and chastisement are made overcomers. And they'll have a place in the kingdom of heaven. Hallelujah! (Amen!) Brothers and sisters, those of the Local Church are greatly blessed! (Amen!) Brother Lin has delivered a message to all of us here. That's amazing! Two thousand is the year that the Lord is coming to take us! Amen! Now then, we have been given some signs, and from them we can say with some certainty. The Lord is at the doors! Amen! We are the generation of the last days. A most blessed generation! (Amen!) Each of us, in body and soul will be saved, be raptured alive! Amen! Hallelujah! (Amen!) Brothers and sisters, the day the Lord arrives is at hand. Maybe He'll return for us the day our praise reaches its peak! Amen! Furthermore, with the time we have left here, we have work to do. If we want the Lord's promises, there's a price that we pay. (Yes, absolutely.) We know that but as long as we work hard and forsake all things. If we suffer for the Lord, then at the right time, He will reward us and we will rule with Him! Amen! In the future, some of us will rule five cities at one time! And some, some will rule ten of them! Amen! That's right! At that time, we'll be kings ruling with God! Amen! I heard that your daughter is evangelizing now. She's not going to college. It's such a crucial time. Pursuing life will serve her well. She's out of high school, so she's an adult. She wants to pursue life. Because soon we will all be raptured! I agree. Focus on life. (Yes!) Hey, did you really just quit your job? Yeah, I have all I need. I figured I should live for God. What matters a lot is to pursue life. It is the way to go. I don't want to miss out on the rapture! You're right. If we gain life, we'll be raptured. What a blessing it is! (Right.) Hallelujah! Amen! Praise the Lord! Let us now break bread. (Amen!) The year went by. The Lord never came. The church has suffered a lot and so have I. Few people show up. They've lost their faith. For the meeting, hardly anybody came. I know. The church has taken a hit. It's not just us. Yes, you're right. I've been to several meetings. It seems some churches are thinking of splitting. Many co-workers are reflecting. They're doubting their path. They're not sure if it's right. Everyone has a different point of view and the debates are becoming heated. They all are quite arrogant, quite conceited. They're vying for power, many of them. They've started forming factions. I think we may be going our separate ways. During all of these years, our church appears prosperous outwardly, yet we have no life entry at all. Could it be that it's the Holy Spirit who's guiding our efforts? Maybe not. It's just man's work. Paul said that to him to live is Christ. Brother Lin said "God became man that man may become God." Do you think that's true? That man could be Christ, be God? Is it true that's what God wants for us? And why aren't we sent some confirmation? Everyone desires to be Christ, to be God. Does it mean we believe? I'm afraid that we've reached an impasse. The people's fire was from wanting to be God-like, to become as one with God and to rule with Him. Do you think that's all right? It seems to me that's not believing in God, but wanting power and position. Do you see what I'm trying to say? I have a bad feeling about all this. It seems wrong, the path I mean. You said something that Paul said that to him to live was Christ. Brother Lin said we can become God and Christ. We just don't have God's person. I get it. This may be a problem. To be honest, I'm not sure. But I'm wondering why were we not raptured in 2000? Did the Lord just not return? Or are we walking on the wrong path? I wish I knew. We've followed Brother Lin's path for so long. We're not transformed at all. We've become arrogant. We're more self-conceited than ever. Think about it. It's worse with some. Some people think they're God, and feel others should obey them. They're no different from the archangel. Is that pursuit in accordance with God's heart? Brother Lin wasn't raptured alive. He passed away instead. Imagine… That's sure a hard pill to swallow. Someone like him… Brother Lin devoted his life, yet didn't become an overcomer. You and I, what hope do we have? I feel we should keep searching the truth. Yes. If we can't solve these problems, well then, the church will stay empty. We can't let that happen. Now the time has come to settle these things. Brother Lin raised the theory to try and be like Christ. If that thought comes from God, shouldn't it be blessed by God? Why did he die instead? We should figure that out. I think that's important. (Mm.) For we know, if this path comes from God and is led by the Holy Spirit, then it should never end up like this. If it comes from Satan or from mankind, it will destroy itself in the end. Zhigang, what do you think? Is God revealing Himself? Will this matter show us His will? I think that may be the case. So then were we on the wrong path? If so, we do need to seek the truth. But let's keep this between us for the time being. Later on, we can reveal it to others, show them the way. We've done well, so why is the church suddenly empty? Who can explain it? Tell me what does God want us to see? What does he mean by that? Everyone, I think we need to reflect. Some introspection couldn't hurt. (Yes.) I've been having trouble with something. It's Brother Lin. Why did he die? What happened? God rules over everything. If He's truly guiding us to this path, why did this happen? How could he say such a thing? Am I wrong? You disagree? You're not wrong. Brother Lin wasn't raptured alive. No. Maybe we're on the wrong path after all. We need to look harder. Would God save man in order to make him God? I don't know. Why have we failed? (Yes, why?) It's a problem. That's not what God wants. All that from God will thrive while that from man will perish. It is definite. That is what the Bible says. Wait a minute. Remember the prophecy in Revelation. Firstfruits are reaped before the harvest. They'll accept the blessings of the new Jerusalem. And the overcomers, they're the firstfruits. (Amen.) What we do now is become overcomers. We don't give up. (Amen.) We should never doubt it. (Amen.) Brother Zhao's right. We should be overcomers I believe. The Lord desires it, so we do it. Brother Lin's made clear the path for us to pursue. We know what we must do. As long as we stay on the path that we were given, we'll be overcomers. (Amen.) Don't forget we have morning watch, practice the vital groups in meetings, and try to mingle our spirits with the Lord's. We've always done this. And even so, nothing's different. I agree. Yeah. I don't think that we're on the right path to becoming overcomers. How can you say it won't work? (Yeah!) Brother Lin said if we can digest and assimilate the Lord's words, and then receive the Spirit's work within, through praying, studying, reciting and preaching, we'll have the overcoming life. And once we've achieved that, we'll succeed! We'll overcome Satan! We'll overcome the world! Isn't that what overcomers mean? (Amen!) So if we stay on the path that Brother Lin showed us, then we will finally become overcomers! Then we just need to give it some more time! (Yes.) I don't see the problem! (Me neither. It's true!) Brother Ma! Brother Sun! We've followed this path for over a decade. And so far, we've achieved little. There's been no confirmation from the Holy Spirit. We've all learned the Bible, the verses, and that's all fine. But who here's renewed? Who has become an overcomer? Not one of us! It's true. You must agree. Brother Lin was never raptured alive to be an overcomer. What hope do the rest of us have? How can we expect better? So what do we do about it? Quiet down! Everyone, we know Brother Lin died. He wasn't raptured. But it doesn't prove anything. It doesn't mean we're on the wrong path. We should still call on the Lord's name, and read His words, exercise our minds and spirits. Thus we will live out the life of God, become the overcomers in this age, and be raptured alive to meet the Lord! (Amen!) In this crucial time, we co-workers, should sustain the brothers and sisters and strive to strengthen their faith, thus we are faithful to the Lord! (Amen!) Of course we're all concerned. It's normal. But we should trust in the Lord and try to be hopeful. (Amen!) Sorry, but I don't get it. It doesn't make sense. If Brother Lin was right, then why wasn't he raptured? Are you so sure if we follow this path, the same won't happen to us? If it is the right path, then where's the Holy Spirit? Where is His guidance? And where is God's blessing? Well? Brother Zhao, how do you explain it? Recently, I've carefully studied the Bible prophecies for the Lord's return. The thing is, they've been fulfilled. So then, what does it mean? That the Lord's come back? What? It's just that we're not raptured. Maybe others have gone first. Hmm. It could happen. Such a quick and pure understanding is only found in those who have quite a good caliber. (Yes.) Since you accept Almighty God, you've already been raptured before God's throne. Really? If you can very eagerly eat and drink God's word, experience His work, then you are attending the feast of the Lamb. And you could be made overcomers before the disaster. Thanks be to God. His God-man theory is so deceptive. And it has harmed our brothers and sisters so deeply. Yes. I'm glad that we now accept Almighty God. It's His love for us and His salvation to us. They wrongly believe that "God became man that man may become God." They hope to live to be Christ and God in the future. They expect to be raptured by the Lord and reign with Him. And then, they'll truly seek and accept the work of Almighty God in the last days. (Mm.) Mm. I'm afraid that it won't be easy. These are people who worship Brother Lin. (Mm.) That's right. For years now, they've read the words he wrote. They believe they're experts on the Bible. They're arrogant as a result, conceited. So it'll take some time. Just be patient. Unless you make the truth clear, they won't be convinced. (Yeah!) You'd better get ready for it. Almighty God's word can conquer all of humankind, (Mm.) except for the absurd ones unable to know the truth. There's nothing we can do for them. Right. We know some about your church, a couple things. We know they worship man a lot and they know the Bible well. It'll be difficult for them to accept the true way. True. (That's right.) First impressions are strong. Yeah, sure. Besides, since they're already familiar with the Bible, they feel they know everything, quite conceited. Mm. It will be quite difficult for them to be raptured. It can be said they're facing great danger. With the disposition of the archangel, how could they obey and accept the incarnate Christ? Mm. In my eyes, if they make it, it is a rapture in peril. Everyone, we have believed in the Lord in the Local Church for a long time. And we've held tight to the view "God became man that man may become God" as our highest vision, haven't we? All of us who belong to the Local Church have tried to live to be God and Christ. We want to reign side by side with God. (Yes.) However, whether it is a path that's after God's heart, I have doubts. Therefore, I've invited two brothers of the Church of Almighty God here. They will discuss with us and help us to sort out the viewpoint of "God became man that man may become God," and if it's really in accordance with God's will or the truth. (Yes.) Ask yourself, can humans become God? And become Christ? If we can answer that, just imagine, the rest is simple. Go on then. Let's clear this up. Yes, I'm eager as well. I want to know the answer. I do too. Brother Guo. "God became man that man may become God" is our highest vision given to us by Brother Lin. You're not saying you doubt it? Brother Lin taught us that and he made it pretty clear. If we follow the path he showed us, we can become God and Christ. There's nothing for us to doubt! What's more, this is important, in which case, it should be in the Bible. It should be confirmed by the Lord and the Holy Spirit. But there's nothing about it in the Bible. Ask yourselves why. You see, how can we not have doubts then? Yeah. I have to admit the God-man theory always confused me. Because I've lived by it for so long, yet nothing has changed, much less improved. It seems it's not confirmed by the Holy Spirit. I feel this view comes from man's mind, from his imagination. Yes. If it's the work of the Holy Spirit, then we should've seen some change and some progress after so long. Right. (Yes.) But there's been no growth. Instead we are arrogant, quite conceited. That's right. Yes. We consider ourselves spiritual, the son of God, the manifestation of God. Instead of being obedient to Him, we expect others to obey us and treat us as God. Our disposition is more like the archangel. In that sense, we're way off. (Yes.) That's what the problem is. See what I mean? Yeah. Honestly, when I first heard this view from Brother Lin, I wondered how can man be God. Later, he fellowshiped that God is a life-bestowing God. He bestows His life disposition upon man, so we can become God. It seemed to make sense, but after so many years, tell me, what evidence have we seen? We've seen no one who's truly lived out God's life disposition. Even Brother Lin himself didn't succeed in living out God's life disposition. It's true. So I'm convinced now that this viewpoint isn't from God. It came from man. We created it, and it's our imagination. (Right.) After discussing this with Brother Yang from the Church of Almighty God, I felt much clearer. God created man and man is man in substance. Right. Amen. After man's corruption, God started His management work of saving man. God would finally make us ones who are after His heart, obey and worship Him. Mm. God presents His will so clearly and plainly. He redeemed in the Age of Grace, judges, and purifies in the last days, all of which is to save us from Satan's influence and corruption, and make us holy, the way He intended. (Right.) God won't make corrupt mankind into Gods. So in that case, the viewpoint that we've held for years now is from corrupt man's mind. It greatly contradicts what God wanted. It's a vast misinterpretation, and it seems to me that it's actually heresy! Brother Guo. "God became man that man may become God" is the highest vision in Brother Lin's preachings. (Amen.) It's true God created man. His plan is obvious. He wanted man to become God. And as man didn't have God's life disposition, it was easy for Satan to tempt him. God saving us is to dispense His life disposition into us. Tell me then, if we have God's life disposition, don't we then become God? Amen! That's all. Is there anything wrong? Right! God became man that He could dispense His life into us. When we have the life of God, then we become God. Am I wrong? I think not! Brother Sun, it's hard to say. We said it already. We've tried this without any results. Right. It's true. That's what we've said for a while. No results at all. Everyone, that's why they're here with us. I think they'll have some answers. Well, we could use some. Believers in your church said "God became man so that man may become God." The meaning of your words is that God is incarnated as a man just in order to make man God. According to the viewpoint your church has held, God's creating man is also to make them God. Now ask yourselves, is this really what God wants? We should really measure it according to God's words. (Yes. That's true.) At the creation, God's words tell us clearly what God created is man, living man with a spirit, who is a created being. Mm. Yes. And man is created to rule over all living things on the earth to glorify and manifest God. (Amen.) I think we need to focus more on God's word. When creating man, God never says that He made God, (That's right.) much less that He created man in order to make him God. That's true. If someone misinterprets God's word, taking creating man for creating God, what problem is this? Is it merely distorting the facts? Misinterpreting God's word? Or is there unspeakable malintent behind it? We all know God is the Creator and man is His creation. (Mm.) Man and God are totally different in substance. Right. Yes. Just as Almighty God says, Amen. God's word is one hundred percent the truth. (Yes.) He's both faithful and honest, without any deception in Him. (Yes. Amen.) So God's word is eternal truth. It is entirely without fault. This is good. God said He made man in His image, so He made man. Why think that He made God then? That's something the archangel would say, because the archangel always desires to be God and to be equal. Satan is a great corruptor. All it needs to do to deceive us is let us misinterpret God's word and then let us follow it. So we've misunderstood as the words of God creating God. It’s a grave resistance and blasphemy against God, a gravest offense to Him. Yes. If one misinterprets God's word carelessly and distorts the facts, this is a serious problem. It's not just a simple problem of misinterpreting God's word. If that comes from Satan, it could be very grave. Right! So your words that "God became man that man may become God" is false, illogical. It's our own misinterpretation out of Satan. Yes. We need to see this fact clearly. If one doesn't repent and holds on to this view, I promise the outcome is dire. (Amen.) Ah, it's blowing. Thinking God's creating man is creating God is blasphemous. Yes, the nature of this is serious. (It is!) Everyone, what's the thing we should seek above all else? We need to understand God's will. What kind of result is God after, when He strives to redeem and save mankind? I'm asking what kind of man does God hope to make in the end? It's a vision for believers. It involves the truth of God's work. And the path that we choose to follow must be in accordance with the word of God. Never should we be deceived into following man and walking the path of resisting God. He's right. Right. We should know by now that after mankind's corruption, we lose the glory of God and the testimony to Him. All that man lives out is corrupt satanic disposition. No human likeness at all. We've become devils who disobey, who resist and even betray our God. It's a fact. In order to save mankind, God was incarnated in the Age of Grace and offered Himself up so that we would be redeemed. Now in the Age of Kingdom, God is incarnated again in order to bring judgment in the last days, and express the truth that will purify and save us. So then, man can gain truth and cast away all of the old corruption, live out a meaningful life and enter into rest. (Right.) This is what God hopes to achieve by saving mankind. Amen. So there's hope. Shall we read the word of Almighty God? Allow me. (Mm.) According to the words of Almighty God, we're sure that the aim of managing mankind with the three stages of work, is to make a group who know God, obey God and testify God. God has been incarnated twice for the purpose of saving man completely from the influence of Satan, so that man can attain sanctity and be of the same mind with God. (Mm.) God's word has explained it quite clearly and quite thoroughly. In that case, the work of God is definitely not to make man God. (Mm.) From the beginning of God's management to the last days, all the former saints approved by God and blessed by Him are those who align with His heart. Saints like Abraham and Job and Peter and so on, they have God's approval and blessing as proof. These people were regarded very highly and emulated by other saints throughout the ages. (Mm.) It's safe to say they're in the kingdom of heaven. But did God say these people are God? He didn't. (Mm-hm.) Right. Never has God made such a claim. He only said that they had the greatest faith, were perfect in that they feared God and shunned all evil and knew God. Clearly, this is the best we can hope for for ourselves. This is why He saved us. (Right.) God hopes that one day we can become like Abraham and Job, and the perfected man will be like Peter who knows God. Amen! This is the truth. It says so right in the Bible. It can't be refuted. That's right. Amen! We're fortunate that the will of God has been made clear. Those approved and blessed by Him are the ones that He'll make complete in the end. (Right.) They're the ones He'll gain in the end. You see our belief in God should be based on God’s requirements. Take Abraham, take Job and Peter as our examples, seek truth fervently and obey God's work, and we will be perfected. Amen! This is the path we should take as believers. Right! So it's proven we weren't made for the purpose of becoming God. Mm. Right. In addition, this was never mentioned by Jehovah God in the Age of Law. (Mm.) And yet again, Jesus didn't mention it in the Age of Grace. In the Age of Kingdom, Almighty God makes it more clear for us. He never said He'd make man into God. Right. Yes. I agree. Therefore, we can be sure that your viewpoint about man becoming God did not originate from God Himself. It's from man's imagination, out of Satan. Right. Yes. Brothers and sisters, God's disposition cannot be offended. Satan wanted to be God and considered itself equal. God was offended by this. Therefore, Satan was struck down in midair. If man tries to become God, isn't that from Satan? Isn't that the point of view of the archangel? Isn't it mankind's own desire? You're right! It's the truth. What they say makes sense. God created man so that man could glorify God and testify God. God has never said He will make man into God. We believed Brother Lin when he said that "God created man so that man becomes God." We believed them as God's own words. But now it seems they were never God's words at all. Yes. I for one agree. It makes sense to me. God was incarnated, so He could save us from sin, (Right.) so we can become holy and be after His heart. (Mm-hm.) It's clear now that God never meant to make us God. I agree. There's no doubt in my mind now. It seems that the viewpoint we've held on to for years never came from God. You're right. It's from man and it's from Satan. (Right.) Man wanting to be God, that's man's own ambition, right? (Yes.) It's the archangel's disposition! I totally agree. (Yes.) I can't believe that our viewpoint that we've been following for our whole lives never came from God. (I know.) The hard part is realizing that Brother Lin could steer us wrong. I know. It goes to show that man is unreliable. Well, I've thought that for a while. (I've thought that too.) So does this mean that we've been on the wrong path all along? Yes, we took the wrong one. Can you imagine? How dangerous it is! Brother Meng, Brother Yang. I've listened to what you've told us. I agree. Praise God. And the words of Almighty God are all truth, I believe. No doubt about it. But what then do we make of God's words in Genesis? I don't get it. Since God made man in His own image, does that then mean that we have the image of God? If it's true, are we man or God? Anyone who has experienced God's end-time work and knows Him can confirm that the truth, what God has and is expressed by God are just one ten thousandth or one trillionth of God's life disposition. Yes. God is the Creator and the source of life for all. Compared to God's real life disposition, His being He expresses to us is microscopic. It's merely a drop in the ocean. Yes. Absolutely true. That's true. Actually, we're doing well if we can live out one drop of truth in that ocean. That's right. (Amen.) The truth that we can live out is limited. Even if we spend all our lives pursuing it, we can never live out all the truth that God's capable of expressing. Yes. I see. This has been acknowledged by those who've experienced God's work. (Amen!) Some day in the future, when God's work ends, if we can live out the smallest bit of His being, a little of His image, it still can't be said that we've become God. It makes sense, right? Because God is the Creator, the substance of His life can't be fathomed. Amen. God created and governs the whole universe. His life is all-inclusive and fills all things. We can't describe His greatness using the words that we have. (Yes.) Yes, I agree. What God has expressed in the work He does is just a bit of what He is. There's an infinite amount besides that. Even if man could live out all the truth that God expresses in His work, it still won't mean that man obtains God's image, Amen. He's right. Yes. much less that he possesses the whole truth or gains the truth. (Right.) So then, even if man lives out a bit of God's image, how can we say that he becomes God? It's not a possibility. (He's right. Definitely not.) Therefore, that "Man has God's image and can become God" is foundless. (Right.) It just doesn't compute. You're right. If we live out a bit of God's image through our experiencing God's work, we still won't become God. (Mm.) Well! Here's an example. It's not exactly the same, but it still may help. So there's a son and a father. The son and the father look a lot alike. But their characters are different, very different, and their personalities. Yes. It makes sense. I agree. Even though they're related, it's impossible that they have the same attribute. The paths they walk aren't the same either. Well said. Exactly. He's right. That was good. And sometimes, a man can be good but his son not as much. (Mm.) They may look alike, tied by blood, but they're not the same. Right! (Mm, right.) In some families, the father resists God while the son obeys Him and believes. That's proof enough that looking like someone and sharing a bloodline doesn't mean you have the same attribute. Right! Wow, that's a good way to put it. Yeah! So then, even if we manage to live out a little of God's image, it doesn't mean that we have the substance of His life. Man can never become God. Saints such as Abraham and Job and Peter, all bore a resounding witness. They gained God's approval, and were in the kingdom of heaven. (Mm.) And yet, God never claimed that they were God as well. (Mm. Right.) He only says they are the one of the greatest faith, the one perfected, and the one loving God. They were examples. Yes. Right. It's true. Furthermore, God has never said that man can become God by believing. The Bible tells us that the archangel wanted to be equal to God. So God became offended, and then, He struck it into midair. (Yes.) Therefore, whoever attempts to become God will end up being cursed by God, just like the archangel. (It's true. Yes.) In the past, we thought that man with God's image could be God. According to what you say, God can be the God with His person and also the God only with life disposition but without His person. If so, there'd be more than one and He wouldn't be unique. (Yes.) Therefore, what you're saying is polytheistic, with no basis in the Bible, no accord with God's word. It's not right. Yes, I do wonder that sometimes. Furthermore, God without His person but with life disposition doesn't even exist. (Mm.) When you say Jesus became the life-giving Spirit after He resurrected, are you certain, there's basis for that? Did the Lord Jesus actually say that after His resurrection? If the Lord Jesus never said that, then tell me, what gives you the authority? I've never heard it said Lord Jesus claimed to be the life-giving Spirit. Neither has the Holy Spirit said. On what basis are you saying that the Lord Jesus said He's the life-giving One? Yes, that makes sense. This is what the Lord Jesus said, The Lord Jesus didn't say that the life-giving Spirit would come on us. If it was the life-giving Spirit, then why didn't He Himself say it? Man insists on telling us that the Holy Spirit who comes to work is the life-giving Spirit. This theory was created by man. (Yes.) Even if man experiences the Holy Spirit's work and gains life, he still can't profess the Holy Spirit is the life-giving Spirit. (Mm.) The Holy Spirit is only the Holy Spirit. So then, whether it's before or it's after the crucifixion, we know for certain the same One does His work and that's the Holy Spirit. He's right. Oh yes. The Holy Spirit doesn't change. He is forever the Holy Spirit. No matter how much His work may progress, He's the One who does it. (Mm.) It's not that the Holy Spirit's work is just sometimes His work, sometimes that of the life-giving Spirit or the Spirit of the resurrection. Such a thing doesn't make sense. (Yes.) The Holy Spirit is almighty and His work is comprehensive. He can not only express God's voice, but also perform signs and wonders. He can supply the church and bestow upon man the life and the truth, save and perfect man, and lead the whole of mankind. (Yes.) The Holy Spirit is omnipotent, omnipresent, and fills all things. If we define Him as one or another kind of spirit by His work, aren't we being ridiculous? Only false prophets, antichrists and deceivers speak such nonsense. Absolutely. Earlier you mentioned, "God's Spirit indwells in man and is mingled with their spirit to be one." On what ground did you say that? Did God ever say that or the Holy Spirit confirm it? Has anyone's experience or testimony proven it? When the Lord Jesus did His work, He never said His Spirit would combine with that of man, and neither did the Holy Spirit. (You're right.) And it's not prophesied in the Bible either. Besides, among all the saints, can you name one whose spirit combined together with God's Spirit? Who do you know that can bear such witness? Who can say? (No one.) Right. There's no one. In fact, all those with life experience can attest that when the Holy Spirit works on man, He enlightens us to understand the truth in what God says. He leads us and He moves us to experience God's word, so we can know God. (Right.) But the Holy Spirit will never be our life. (I see.) When we speak to Him through prayer, He sometimes gives us faith or grants strength. Sometimes He lets us feel His presence. Sometimes He reveals His words within us or shows us His will. But the Holy Spirit will never be man's life. We all acknowledge that fact. So now, no matter how we pray or try to commune with Him, it'll never happen that our spirit is mingled with God's. (Mm.) When the Holy Spirit performs His work, man can understand the truth, free from Satan's influence, return to God and be able to obey and worship God. Then God's work of saving us will be complete. (Mm.) The Holy Spirit's work will also end. (Yes.) Because man will have already gained the truth as life, (Mm.) and the Holy Spirit's purpose will be fulfilled. (Amen. Right. Yes, I agree.) Moreover, if we're constantly mingling, it will bring about an assumption that we're God's equals, which tells us that we can be God. (Mm.) If we keep doing this feeling we're God's equal, we'll become antichrists and archangels. (Yes. Amen. We will.) So there's no way this can help us. It's harming us. It's so dangerous. It's very deceptive. Brothers and sisters, actually, the Holy Spirit's at work. He works for our salvation. And we can all experience that. The Holy Spirit often illuminates us inside. He helps us know truth, know God. And He often admonishes, disciplines, and comforts and guides us, to lead us to His presence. (Yes.) Even so, He won't be our life. But searches and reveals us and helps us know ourselves. What the Holy Spirit does is the work of saving man. This is apparent to all of us. (Mm.) The essence of the Holy Spirit's work never changes over the ages or in the last days. So the saying concerning the mingling of two spirits will never conform to God's actual works. (Sure.) So far there's been no evidence that anyone in the Age of Grace had his spirit mingled with God's, or has lived out His image. Almighty God has never said that man's spirit will be mingled with God's in the last days, so that they can become God alive. So we can say for sure then that the statement regarding the spirits mingling has no basis in God's word and comes entirely from man's notion. It doesn't align with the Holy Spirit's work. It comes from Satan. It's Satan's deception. (Yes…) Before, we didn't grasp what work the Holy Spirit will do on us. But today, it's much more clear to me and I'm grateful for that. (Mm.) The Holy Spirit's aim is to guide us all to know the truth, enter into reality, and to one day be holy. (You're right. Yeah.) Even so, He won't be man's life. Right, that won't happen. So then, we all agree that the two spirits won't be mingled. It's a false statement. Yes. It is. No wonder we've never seen any change and after all that time. Mm-hm. Yes. Without knowing the Holy Spirit's work and having the truth, we're easily deceived. (Right.) Absolutely! I thought “The Holy Spirit indwells us and our two spirits became one,” such a spiritual thing. (Mm.) If they really did so, just think we would become God and be so blessed. (Yes.) Anyway, it's quite a shock that we were deceived instead of gaining truth. Yes. It's scary how effective Satan is. We must always be on guard. It is so scary. We once tried to live Christ out and be God. We wanted to be equal to God. Instead we fell in Satan's trap! We did. (We sure did.) Clearly, man has been corrupted by Satan too deeply. After God's redemption, they still desire to be God just the same. (Yes.) What's more, they search through God's words to find any evidence they can to support their own want. (Mm.) Doesn't this sound just like the archangel? Recall how the archangel became Satan. Wasn't it because of its ambition to stand side by side with God? Yes, it was. Yeah. After it was cast into midair, it assumed dominion over the earth. It proceeded to corrupt, to control and deceive us to turn us against God, and to follow and worship it instead. This is the result of Satan's corruption of mankind. (Yes.) How does the theory "God became man that man may become God" even benefit man? It doesn't. It only results in one thing, man's desire to be God's equal. (Mm. Yes.) Those who have been deceived by this false theory become more arrogant. I agree. Then they want people to obey them more, to obey and worship them as God to satisfy their desire. (That's true.) So then, whether we're able to accept God's judgment in the last days will determine whether we'll be raptured before His throne, and granted entrance to His kingdom. What? The Lord's returned to make a group of overcomers? Impossible! Brother Lin was our leader. He taught the Local Church how to be overcomers. If we stick to the path he showed us, we'll surely be overcomers! (Amen!) Overcomers come from the Local Church! (Amen!) And the Rapture? We're going first! So He can directly express truth, express God's righteous disposition and what God has and is. He can disclose the mystery of God's management plan, and open a new age and end the old age. All of mankind is moving forward with the work that God's performing. With God's work comes a new age as the old one ends, all of mankind moves forward into that new age. (Yes.) This is sufficient proof that the work of God incarnate guides the entire age to progress forward. However, man's work can't open a new age or end the old. Also, another substantial difference is that God incarnate's work and His word are expressions of divinity, not mixed with human thought or logic and reasoning. It's the original meaning of God's Spirit, not mixed with human will. Every word God incarnate has expressed is the truth with power and authority, so they can be man's life and change his disposition. They can purify and perfect and save him. Finally, man can be taken into good destination. (Yes. Amen.) The people used by God, however, are human and not God incarnate. So they can't usher in a new age or end an old age, nor can they lead man in the direction of a new age. Their work is unrelated to God's management. Instead, they give cooperation in humanity based on God's work, and fellowship about their experience. This experience and knowledge represent what man has and is, with man's imagination, logic, reasoning and all his lessons and so on. Although most accord with the truth and can bring man some support, supply and help, they are not the truth and they can't be man's life. Only when man's work cooperates with God's work, can it result in purifying, in saving and perfecting man. This is the difference between the work of God incarnate and that of the man that's used by God. (Yes.) Brothers and sisters, this will make sense once we look at the facts of God's work and those of man. When the Lord Jesus came to work, He said that the kingdom of heaven was near and man should repent. He did a stage of work of redeeming us, ushering in the Age of Grace and ending the Age of Law. So then, the new era of man began then from the Age of Grace. Lord Jesus expressed His disposition of mercy and love, so man could be redeemed through the sin offering. Man was no longer cursed or condemned then, but qualified to come before God to pray and cry out to Him, and to enjoy truth and grace given him by God. After Jesus finished His work and ascended into heaven, His apostles carried on the work of ministering to man based on the work and words of Jesus. They fellowshiped about their experience and knowledge of God's word, so as to guide the chosen to practice the Lord's word and spread the Lord's salvation, established churches and ministered to believers. They cooperated with God's work according to the word of the Lord Jesus. They did what He taught them which was performing man's duty. The letters that they wrote and what they said told us of their knowledge and experiences about the word and work of the Lord Jesus. They were certainly in line with truth, and yet they still couldn't be seen as equal with the Lord's work and words. Mm. Yes, absolutely. Christ of the last days, Almighty God, comes to start the Age of Kingdom and end the Age of Grace. The Age of Kingdom begins with Almighty God's work as we know. Almighty God has carried out the work of judgment beginning with God's house. He's disclosed all the mysteries of God's six-thousand-year management plan, expressed all the truth of cleansing and saving mankind, revealed His holy and righteous substance to mankind, and His majesty, wrath, and unoffendable disposition, so as to deliver man from his corrupt disposition and from Satan's influence and finally bring man to the beautiful destination. Almighty God's words have made it clear that God incarnate is God's Spirit realized in the flesh. Although He has normal humanity, His substance is divinity. The substance of a man used by God is human. That's all he is. There's not a bit of divine substance. Christ with divine substance means that God's innate disposition, His righteous, holy substance, what God has and what God is, His almightiness, and His wisdom of all things, as well as His great authority are realized in the flesh. This flesh is the one with the divine substance, is the practical God who does His work of saving mankind on earth. Because Christ has the divine substance, His emotional state, and His attitudes, viewpoints and opinions on people, events, and His thoughts are all truth, all the time, and the expression of His life disposition along with His holy substance. Christ can completely represent God, can express God's voice, God's life disposition, what He has and is in His identity, and can bestow on man the truth, the way, and the life, which is way beyond us, way beyond our grasp. It's because Christ has complete divinity that He can directly express God's word at any time or place, rather than convey it like some kind of a prophet. Christ only expresses truth and does God's work here in the new age. He never expresses the experience of God's words. Because Christ has complete divinity, He can express truth at any time to supply and water and shepherd, lead the whole of mankind. It's because Christ has complete divinity that He can undertake the work of God. He can lead mankind and redeem them. He can conquer them. He can save them and end the whole former age. (Amen.) But men used by God are human in substance with no divinity, only humanity. So they can only do man's work, only man's duty. Although they have the enlightenment from God, the perfection of the Holy Spirit, they can merely assist in God's work and share their experience. Most of their words accord with the truth and edify others, but they're not the truth and are not on a par with God's words. (Yes.) Brothers and sisters, we must be clear on this. What God incarnate does is the initiation and conclusion of an age. He speaks the entire truth and leads all of mankind. But the men used by God or having the work of the Holy Spirit are still not divine. They're assisting with God's work and doing the duty of man. What they express are merely the experiences and knowledge of God's words, and the words in accordance with truth. Also, no matter how long they work or what they say, they're just fellowshiping on the experience and the knowledge of God's word. They exalt and testify about God. This is the essential difference between God incarnate and men used by God, or the men who have the work of the Holy Spirit. Yeah. We know God incarnate has the divine substance. So then, His word and work is without man's notion, imagination, and logic, and He directly expresses God's divine being and the original meaning of God's Spirit. Just like in the Age of Grace, Jesus revealed the mystery of the kingdom of heaven. He brought the way of repentance to man, expressed the disposition of love and mercy. All this is the expression of God's Spirit, as well as His disposition and all that He has and is, which is beyond the reach of human thinking. In the last days, Almighty God expresses all the truth to purify, save, and perfect man. He displays all of God's holiness to us along with His righteousness, and reveals all the mysteries of His management plan, like the mystery of His incarnation, the difference between the work of God and of man, the purpose of God's management plan, the inner truth of God's three stages of work, the source of man's corruption, how he should break free from sin and attain God's salvation, the destination of man, etc. What Almighty God does is the expression of the divinity, and the original meaning of God's Spirit, which cannot be envisioned in the mind of humankind. The works, words, and disposition of God incarnate are all enough to prove that the substance of God incarnate is the divine substance. We must remember His identity is the unique God Himself. (Amen.) And men used by God can't do the work of divinity in His stead, nor can they express the original meaning of His spirit. But they can only assist with the work of God to the best of their ability. They express their knowledge and they lead God's chosen to enter the reality of God's word, testifying and serving Him as man's duty. Man is able to fathom their work, and all of their works are attainable in man's mind, and can be reached by experience. They are what man has and is. Because both God incarnate and man used by God are very different, the nature of their work is different, like their substance. The difference between God incarnate and man used by God is the difference between God and man. One is God's substance while the other is man's substance. Only He with divine substance can do God's work, while mankind can only do the work of man. Men used by God are not God incarnate, and don't have the divine substance or the truth and life, so they're unable to do God's work of saving man. Men used by God can only assist with God's work, which is their duty as a man. (Amen!) But religious leaders, though respected, are not those who are used by God. It's something that believers of God need to understand. Almighty God's words have made it so clear! Though Christ has normal humanity, the substance of His life is divine. Right. (Yes.) His work and words are the direct expression of God's divinity. (Amen.) Man used by God is that a man with no divinity. So he can't express truth or do the work of God. (Amen.) I'm so grateful. We still need to determine the difference between the work of men used by God and the work of religious leaders and other important figures. This is also very important. If we don't know the difference between God's work and the work of men, or if we can't figure out the difference between men used by God and hypocritical Pharisees, we're likely to go astray, follow man and lose the true way. Just like when the Lord Jesus came to work, and the whole Jews followed the hypocritical Pharisees and forsook Lord Jesus. We know Almighty God does judgment work. Many religious people are deceived by the leaders of their church just as the Pharisees before, lied to, bound. They forsake Christ in the last days. You really don't want that to happen. No, we don't. In order to follow God, we should know the religious leaders' hypocritical substance, which is like that of the Pharisees. They work and serve God by their gifts and talents. They treat the Bible as a textbook and decipher it with logic and reasoning. What they preach is biblical knowledge and theology. And what they preach and focus on is man's word in the Bible. Shouldn't they exalt God's word instead? Isn't that where they should focus? They use man's word to replace Lord Jesus' word, making His words ring hollow. This kind of work runs contrary to God's intention. This is the core of the Pharisees' resistance to God. Yes. Why do they resist God? It's blasphemy. Why would they do so? Religious people have always accepted the leadership of the Pharisees. For many years, they believe in God, gain no truth or life. All they get are some biblical knowledge and theology. So then, they become arrogant, self-conceited, more contemptuous, without reverence for God. Gradually God loses His place in man's heart. And before he knows it, man finds himself on the path of resistance to God. There are many church leaders and religious figures who are actually misinterpreting the Bible. They attempt to spread absurd fallacies which conform to people's already faulty ideas, getting people controlled and deceived. And as a result, people start to accept their fallacies as God's word and truth. And then, things start to fall apart. (Yes.) These church figures and religious leaders are the very antichrists that God exposes during His end-time work of judgment. Yes. It's true. This is strong enough proof that the work of these so-called leaders and the "great" religious figures doesn't come from the Holy Spirit, but is the deceit and affliction of today's Pharisees. They are the ones who resist and betray God. They're the ones who re-crucify Him and will end up cursed by Him. Yes. It's true. They don't revere God. Indeed they are. Brothers and sisters, until now, some people haven't been aware. They treat those people in charge of the church, the deceivers, as men used by the Holy Spirit, and consider what they say, all the fallacious talk, as the light from the Holy Spirit and even as God's word the truth. So then, every word that God Himself expresses has the truth within it. God has expressed many truths during every stage of His work. And these truths are the precious life that God chooses to bestow on man. Amen. Brothers and sisters, What God has expressed to us during His work, twice becoming flesh are the truth. (Amen!) This is like the words the Lord Jesus expressed to us during the Age of Grace. In those words, mankind sees God's disposition, God's love, and the substance of His holiness. Just like Lord Jesus' love toward all of mankind, His mercy, and forbearance, Lord Jesus required that mankind love God with all his heart to love his neighbor, to be light and salt, and so on. When Christ of the last days, Almighty God, comes, He expresses all the truth of judging, purifying and perfecting man. All these truths are the reality of life that man should possess in the Age of Kingdom. (Amen.) Christ of the last days reveals to man God's disposition of righteousness, majesty, wrath, and intolerance of offense. He discloses the mystery of God's management plan of saving mankind, the mystery of God's three stages of work, the inside truth and substance of every stage of His work, and the mystery of His incarnation. He reveals how God gives judgment in the last days, what the kingdom of Christ is, how God reveals the end of every person, rewards good and punishes evil. He reveals God's righteousness, what His holiness is, the symbolic meaning of God's disposition and His emotions. He unveils righteousness and evilness, all things positive and all things negative. He shows the substance and fact of man's corruption by Satan. He shows the way to fear God and how to shun evil, what the real human life is, how we can live out a meaningful life, and how to make the most of it. Almighty God has revealed all these truths and all the mysteries for man to know and see, so they can fear God, shun evil, obey God, and worship Him. (Amen!) The truth Almighty God expresses is the way of eternal life mankind should have. Amen! Those who agree to accept all the truth expressed by God as a way of life, are people who gain the eternal life. Those who refuse to accept all the truth expressed to them by God, will head toward destruction. So then, all the truths expressed by Almighty God in the last days, are God's work of beginning an age and ending an age, when the last days arrive. (Amen!) Men used by God are the ones God saves and perfects. Their duty in God's work that they strive to perform is to assist in the work of God and to lead God's chosen people. So then, their words that are in accordance with the truth, are a result of the Holy Spirit's work. Though they are of benefit to man, they cannot be called truth, God's word. The reason for this is man's words are of his own knowledge of truth, are his own point of view, and understanding, and they involve human impurity. Besides, man's experience and knowledge about the truth is limited. No matter how much man enters into the truth, it doesn't mean he possesses the substance of the truth, or completely lives out the image of the truth either. (Right.) So then, even if he's lived out some realities of the truth, it still stands that what he expresses is in line with the truth, but can never be considered as on the same par. (Amen!) Only the words expressed by the incarnate God are the truth. That is to say, only God has the substance of truth. Only God is the truth. (Amen!) No matter how many years man has believed in God, he is always as a newborn baby before Him. (Yes.) He can never possibly live out the image of God. So then, the men used by God and the men with the work of the Holy Spirit, their words can only be viewed in line with truth, and not considered the truth itself. (Amen!) This is a fact that no one can deny. If one considers man's words to be the truth, he's not just resisting God. He's blaspheming against Him! Yes. Completely blasphemous. To people who have no truth, they sound so reasonable. They seem to tally with the truth and are accepted. But after a while people realize those words are empty and lack reality. They're clearly man's imaginings and they're no help. Some theories are ridiculous and stand against the truth. You've quoted Brother Lin a lot. His theories of "God became man that man may become God" and "God's Spirit and man's spirit are mingled as one" were accepted by many people then. But it didn't take very long and they were found ridiculous and absurd. They're impractical and invalid. That's right. I agree. Yes. It's true. If we accept God's work and the nourishment of His word and understand some truth, we'll be able to see that man's word falls short of the word of God and of the truth. (Amen. Yes.) Man's word, no matter how pleasant it is, is not the truth. (Yes.) And man's spiritual theory, no matter how profound it is, can't purify or change man. Especially religious figures and leaders of the church, their words are specious fallacies, which can only deceive and corrupt us, and harm. (Yeah.) If man doesn't accept God's word and experience His work, he'll never break free from the deception and the bondage of all the false shepherds and the antichrists. (Yes.) And he'll never escape the influence of Satan. (Amen.) And so, worshiping and following man is the same as resisting God and betraying Him. Yes. All those who follow all the false shepherds and antichrists are doomed to weep and gnash their teeth when the disaster occurs. (Yes.) Thank Almighty God for revealing the truth and the mystery. We understand there's a difference between man's word and the truth God reveals. They can't even be compared. Right. Yes. God's word is the truth. It can purify and save man and be man's life. Amen. The fallacies of the religious leaders, all the people who claim to show us the way, can only deceive, corrupt us and harm us. It's the truth. Yes. It's true. Though I read the Bible and prayed in the Lord's name all of this time, I never grasped or practiced the words of the Lord Jesus, but spent all these years to follow Brother Lin. In name, I believe in the Lord Jesus. But in practice, I followed Brother Lin. I'm believing and following man. I'm a blind guide to all of you. Yes, if we refuse to follow the Lord Jesus' word, but exalt and testify Brother Lin's words, and even practice them as if they were the words of God, aren't we just following and obeying man? (Yes!) Then we're not following and believing in God! (Yes!) In the past, we believed in the Lord Jesus in name, but in fact we lived on man's words instead. We followed man. Even if the word of Almighty God is the truth, is the true way, we won't accept Him unless He raptures us to the kingdom of heaven! Brothers and sisters, no matter what, we can't deny the Lord's name and betray Brother Lin. Brother Wang, Brother Sun! What is this all about? If the religious leaders and elders exalt and testify themselves to make us follow them, then lead us astray, we should be opposing them! Amen! Especially those false shepherds, apostles, we should betray them even more! Betraying them is betraying Satan! (Amen!) We believers should betray Satan and return before God! Looking back now, the path that we followed was the path of antichrists. Yes. It's true. I feel as if I'm at the edge of a tall cliff. Below me lies the bottomless chasm. (Yes.) How dangerous! (Yes.
