I read Hoshi's interview from latest Anan magazine (trans), where he says he never regarded dancing as a job, never had that mentality and that's really amazing, since on the creative side of it, he and Dino keep pouring fresh ideas into their choreographies, making each of them unique and not bound by any genre.
They're getting inspired by every day objects which only they can see association with a dance movement. Someone on twitter noticed that here The8 imitates turning a page in a book made of Vernon's hands, which corresponds with the lyrics "This story is about saving you, but you know? At the end, you are going to save me" and that's just...beautiful ;-;
Seventeen's choreographies always somehow tug on my feelings, there's always an underlying meaning to them and it's clear they were made with love by the creators ;-;
That's some difficult and confusing footwork right there, especially while transitioning, but they still end up floating very gracefully o.o
I like how they make a sharp movement whenever there's an emphasis in the song, it really highlights the part and makes the whole performance more dynamic and engaging. It's slow and graceful at parts and boom, sharp stress and immediately smooth and fluent again.
Jun's part towards the end remains my favourite, he begins his movement so beautifully T_T he's such a pretty boy.
Type of choreography:
- Easy
- Medium
- Hard
- Seventeen
Seriously though, their choreo are always fun to watch. There's always something new and that's what I like about for the most part when it comes to their choreographies.
The part starting at 1:22 where it starts with Dino and transitions to Vernon is so impressive.
God when I watch Seventeen's choreography it makes me think about how much trust they have to have in each other when they are moving in such tight formations or just even when they move together as a unit. Watching them dance is unlike anything else
They're sooooo so smooth! Especially the arm movements at the "happy ending" part, ugh! These boys could dance to the most energetic song but their synchronization makes me feel so serene for some reason, it's just so satisfying to watch (and re-watch and then re-watch again)
