[Music] hey yo what's going on welcome to another episode of mac eats today we are in chinatown in san francisco and we are about to try all the hidden gems in the city where all the locals go to for food that's right mac eats in san francisco this is gonna be delicious so here we are first stop we are on stockton street at new golden daisy and um i heard that their chicken wings are out of this world and we're here to try it you know there's line there's a line all the way over here this chicken wing has to be busting because there's no reason that there would be a line like this if it's not so let's try it out so here we are um i got the lovely lady here frying the chicken wings and um i don't know it looks like kind of normal process that i've seen uh how people fried chicken wings i don't know but everybody says that these chicken wings are amazing and i smell it it smells really good in here and um she's hooking it up i can't wait to taste it so they've been here for 40 years uh it's it's you know it's a it's an og spot og spot where the locals go to you know um and that's what mac eats is all about we could go to the fancy things and but we're not we're for the people and we're gonna go to where the locals eat where the people eat and i wanna try these chicken wings so here we have it ladies and gentlemen we have the chicken wings these chicken wings smell amazing i'm not gonna lie we're gonna try it out i have some really good chicken wings and i'm a really tough critic on chicken wings so hopefully these chicken wings pass the chinamac test so here we go first chicken wing here we go let's get it it's nice and crispy you can tell by the bubbles when it's bubbly you know this [ __ ] is crispy so let's try it out wow it's so crispy whatever they use to flavor it it's like the flavor is there i can see why this place is so popular the chicken wing is amazing really good flavored really well um it's just really good and and the meat is just like it falls off the bone delicious this place is fire [Music] so here we are at our second location and we are at new london cafe aka the pork chop house so this place has been here for more than 50 years and they are known for their pork chop uh i've heard about this pork chop place in new york city so i can't wait to taste it uh and see if the hype is really really really worth it you know what i'm saying uh so let's go try it out right now like y'all can't smell it but the aroma is coming out of into the street it smells amazing i just hope that it tastes just as good as it smells you know what i mean cause you know i'm gonna tell you if it's not good i'm gonna let you know you know that so here we have it the famous pork chop over rice marinated pork chop um i can't wait to dig in i heard a lot about this pork chop place and i really want to see what all the hype is about right so we're going to try right now we got the pork chop right here it smells really good really good the smell is just like potent you know the sauce smells great so we're going to try it right now let's see hmm yes sir hmm [Music] a pork chop is nice and tender i usually try to stay away from the pork chops but when i eat them i don't like them like dry i hate that that's why i really don't like pork chops like that because a lot of times it's dry this pork chop is nothing it's definitely not dropped it's nice and tender amazing cooked to perfection um the gravy that smothered on this pork chop is amazing and it tastes really good like really good and the rice i know it just looks really plain like plain ripe rice but if you eat rice you know like good rice you know this is special rice this is amazing really good they did an excellent job 10 bucks it was pretty expensive it kind of surprised me ten dollars you know back home i could get this probably for like seven bucks you know but it's really good and um if you want a good pork chop meal this is the place [Music] yo golden gate fortune cookie this is the oldest fortune cookie place in america 58 years has been here and um their fortune cookies are bombed so hold up we about to try a fortune cookie right now and we about to read my fortune first it says soon someone new coming into your life will become a very good friend that sounds good and you hear that music in this house yo so now we are at our third spot and this spot i'm not gonna lie is amazing already i already know because this is the first spot that i went to when i came into san francisco and when i had this food it was it blew my mind it was so delicious everything from the soup to the meal to the fish everything so we're about to reorder some of the things that i ordered the first time and i'm about to show you how amazing this place is one of the hidden gems in san francisco's chinatown thank you yeah yeah [Music] and so right now uh the the chef here is about to show me how to cook should make a one ton right let's get it wow let me get my okay ninja oh just put a little soy sauce in there [Music] no it's like different meat like beef stock so it's like different bones uh chicken bones uh beef bones all together in one it's a stock that they use for this uh wonton so one ton is like a it's sort of like a dumpling and it's a a hong kong like a hong kong dish that's famous what i smell it already let's get it oh we put some soy sauce some pepper so basically he said that the the pepper that they use is a special chinese pepper and that's what gives the dish the flavor you know nobody has ever allowed me to come back and cook my guy right here is allowing me to cook right now so now now here we have it we about to put this broth this soup into the one ton whoa look at this amazing woo i smell it it smells amazing i'm oh [ __ ] which one should i get let me get let me see this one this one come here come in whoa i got him i got him oh oh oh yes sir here we go how you doing what's up guys what's up yes this is that's that duck right there this is the duck that i had last time come on keep it coming keep it coming yes sir this is the vegetables amazing it smells so good let's go and go inside yes sir that's the fish that's the fish i caught right there you smell that yeah i smell that now smell that come here look come closer come closer look you smell that mmm wow i cooked this and i caught that what's up first what we're gonna do is we're gonna get some tea for the palette some tea for the palette it clears up uh your system and also while you're eating you should also drink tea to kind of you know bring the food down well thank you guys yes sir all right yo this smells amazing so here we go this is how we do it we put some rice on the plate bow and let's try this first let's try our vegetables start it off nice and light yo delicious delicious hold on hold on hold on and this is the baylor look you got to put the juice of the fish on the rice we gonna get a nice piece of fish right here right here boom put that right there we're gonna get a nice piece of duck right here wow it looks good it is it it smells amazing can you smell it yes oh wow beautiful all right so here we go here we go pete take a piece of duck [Music] so good in chinese you call that the chop that's the that's the sauce like the you know the gravy oh my god so good so good we're to try this fish oh man i love fish when it's like it's not too like fishy you know it's just cooked properly and this is how this fish is right here amazing i'm in heaven right now hold up let me just let me just save it a moment in heaven so good so good now we're gonna try this one ton which i had help you know i helped make you know what i mean some of this soup um yeah i am international rap star all right so here we have it this is the one ton mean right so i'm gonna try to broth it's a little salty but let's go hold on let's see what the ones [Music] but it's delicious so good so good yo just got done eating i'm so full i'm so happy chinatown has really good food amazing if you are ever in the san francisco area make sure you come into chinatown make sure you try all the places that i just displayed to y'all but also try the other places they are super super hidden gems inside chinatown food that will just rock your socks man san francisco chinatown thumbs up the food was amazing until next time i'll see you on the next
