Chillin' with the Benham Bros.

well if you've been anywhere close to social media lately you know kind of what's going on with my twin sister and i i have been cashing checks that his mouth has written my entire life but you know what we actually do believe the same thing so a lot of people have said what are you guys going to do you know i mean what do you do now well we're going to keep doing what we've always done right now specifically we're going to finish helping six families flip houses this morning i actually woke up and got a good workout in did a really good bible study with some buddies so i did all of that while this guy was sleeping what were you i got up and worked out you did yeah what'd you hit 75 burpees that's that's not a word so you know when we were we played baseball our dad taught us always run through first base so when you hit a ball directly back to the pitcher and you're out before you even get out of the batter's box you have a choice to make do i just walk back to the dugout or do i run through first base we've chosen all right hey we're out we ain't even out of the batter's box and we're out you're a loser you know what we're gonna run through first base we're gonna finish this for these six families they deserve it they came to us wanting to learn how to flip with or without cameras we're gonna teach them how to flip the reason why because we live from the inside out we don't live from the outside in we don't need media we don't need other people to tell us how to live we live from the inside out when we were 12 years old and accepted jesus into our hearts he changed our lives and we live by a code with three c's christ character and contentment you see we have jesus christ in our heart and because of that we love people we love everyone and we also do our best to build character into our lives and the way god builds character is to go through hard times to hard times produce perseverance and perseverance character and character hope and david learned that in the minor leagues as his batting average was just below 200 whatever it was not it was higher than that but anyway uh and then the last one is contentment jason and i are content you know we're content we're content number one that we're christians we're content that we are husbands we are fathers we're content with our community we're content to serve the lord whether we're pushing a broom or swinging a bat we don't need a tv show although we would love one but it's okay we're content so with christ character and contentment nothing can stop you we promised that we would give jesus glory whether in victory or defeat so it sure seems like we've been defeated lately but you know what god is bigger than all of this on our ride over to where we are right now i passed a funeral home that was in the middle of a procession you know what that family has experienced some defeat and they need god and and followers of god to go up and encourage them so we just want to encourage the community of people that are out there there are millions of americans right now who have flooded in and are supporting my brother and i and we just want to say thank you god is bigger than this and i look forward to seeing what happens and let's turn our energy and effort back to our communities let's go out and be salt and light let's love others let's continue to love god and be the transformed people that jesus made us and we love you guys and then when this is all over i i will share a few pieces of good dirt on this guy whatever and and i think you guys will really i got more dirt on you that is bull yeah i got it all right you you can shut the camera
