[Music] hi this is Annie and today I will be showing you how to make chicken feet with black bean sauce please continue watching if you want to learn how to make it [Music] I have some chicken feet that I bought from my local Asian grocery store first you want to just snip the nails off and all you want to do is take a clean pair of sharp scissors and cut it at an angle just to get that nail off once you're done snipping off all the nails make sure that you wash the chicken feet thoroughly under cold water next you want to squeeze all of the water out of the chicken feet [Music] and all you have to really do is just squeeze it and drain out all the water in the next step we're gonna take some paper towels and actually dry them here I have a piece of paper towel that I'm drawing the chicken feet on and all I'm doing is just trying to squeeze out all of the excess water we want to keep the chicken feet as dry as possible so that when we fry it it won't pop so much [Music] I have about 1 cup of oil that I've heated to a really hot tub it's here and all I'm doing is is adding these chicken feet into the oil you want to make sure that the oil is really hot before you put the second solution I also advise that you wear safety goggles for burns and also gloves rubber gloves on your hands that you avoid you want to turn the you can see appealing the chicken feet will be golden and crispy and when it looks like this you can take it off of the heat here you can see a list of the other ingredients that I'm using corn starch sliced ginger green onion soy sauce brown sugar black bean oyster sauce chopped garlic and also some water [Music] in a pressure cooker I added a little bit of oil and putting in some chopped garlic and ginger just to get them to sweat then you can add in the chicken feet and you also want to stir this so they they don't burn next you want to add in the oyster sauce and the soy sauce you can also add the black bean sauce [Music] now you can also add some water stir it up a little bit [Music] put on the lid and snap it into place now you want to get the moisture out and you'll see steam rising that little pop when the steam starts to come out put the little ringer on the top then it's going to rotate like this if it dance is too fast you want to lower the heat so you want to keep it just like this after 30 minutes place the pressures of the under some cold water and look at that little indicator right there when the steam has gone you'll see it go down there you go you see that see how it went lower that means it's okay and safe to open the pressure cooker now put the pressure cooker back on the stove and put that back on high you'll be adding the rest of the ingredients from this point on brown sugar [Applause] [Music] [Music] green onion if you like it spicy now you can slice some Thai chilies and add it to your dish if you don't like it you can skip this stuff stir that around a little bit [Music] [Applause] then you can add the cornstarch with water and this will thicken the sauce [Music] [Applause] [Music] here is our finished chicken feet it's really delicious and super soft and gooey the flavor is out of this world I hope you try this recipe please subscribe to my channel if you like this video I would appreciate it very much thank you [Music]
