what up y'all today i got myself a chicago style pizza you know i rep the shy see red chicago style pizza became a pretty popular thing in korea about i want to say like eight years ago just started sprouting up everywhere different uh chains and brands trying to capitalize and it's pretty much always bogus you know you know i've seen stuff like this and like this they're just not doing it right especially with the crust it's a true sham and i was looking at my app and i found this place you know i haven't had a decent chicago style pizza since the last time i was in chicago anyway this place caught my eye and it looked pretty decent a lot better than the other things i've been seeing so hopefully this will be all right it smells good uh i haven't opened this yet as you can see but i'm going to do that right now this had high reviews but you know you don't trust the reviews okay that ain't looking too bad you know the tricky with the large box and the small pizza but i like this actually that it holds it together you know what i'm saying this should be just cheese and sauce but one thing i'm noticing right off the bat you gotta dust it with some some parm like that maybe a little bit of mix with ramado and some secret herbs and spices and a lot of times oh dude a lot of times what you would do is uh you would before you bake it you throw on some of this parmesan and then throw it in the oven that's a trick that only few know about but yeah this is looking pretty good see this crust right here it's thin people think chicago pizza should be like super doughy and thick and that's not how it should be it should be kind of a buttery crust and if you do it right it's good i'm hoping this is buttery i'm hoping this is good i'm hoping i get some cheese pull let's go for a slice here okay yeah that ain't bad that is not bad at all let's take a look at the bottom not bad i mean i i would have preferred it without this pattern whenever you see a pizza with that kind of pattern you always have to be cautious but this is looking good so far let me take a bite all right not bad i've definitely had a lot worse a lot of things i like about this pizza i probably need some more parm i like that the it's cheap it's got a good cheese pull they're not adding anything you don't need it's cheese sauce and um and a crust on the bottom the crust isn't overly thick or doughy it holds up well in the hand and compared to what i've had here in korea this is definitely a notch above for sure i thought really terrible chicago style pizzas so anything that's not terrible is a you know it's a nice surprise that being said this doesn't hold a candle man this wouldn't hold a candle to literally any chicago pizza spot in chicago and i i don't think you haven't been to a mall i'm not actually from chicago but i went there a lot growing up i was pretty close and i bet you that honestly like even just some random unknown spot up there would have better chicago style pizza than this that's the levels we're dealing with there's a lot of good places there's a lot of places i don't really can't you know i like them all lose though is my favorite for sure by far shout out lou's [Applause] blue malnottis that is and yeah this wow so it's it's crazy because if i compare this pizza to other chicago style pizzas i've had in korea this is like a 10 to one but if i compare this to lose lose is like a 50 to 1 for this you know i mean yeah but i like again you see this right here you see that crust this is what you should be going for the consistent kind of maybe not the exact consistency but the thickness and everything like it ain't too thick it's not a bad cross could it be butterier yeah the sauce could definitely use some work i think you really have to throw down some cheese and some herbs and then throw it in the oven i want to say that with the sauce you should not you shouldn't cook it and then put it on the pizza and then cook it again i want to say that it's better i mean teach their own i guess but i feel like if you just put the sauce on raw like uncooked and then through an oven like it'll cook a bit in love and i like sauce that almost has like a fresh element to it and i'm not sure i don't think i've really showed you a close-up i'm bad that's what we're working with hmm this sauce to me tastes like overly cooked in the cheese i like the cheese cheese is good work a little bit on the crust and the sauce and you this would be awesome but yeah the bowls man we back we back i've been watching i've watched every single bulls game for the past i want to say four years every single one four terrible years it's oh wow so bad but we're finally back we got a squad man we definitely got a little swag going i feel like anything could happen we're being slept on though definitely getting slept on hopefully we can put something together shout out man i'll be watching a lot of bulls content shout out man shout out to bull central gotta throw you gotta throw that guy in there and and also windy city breeze i mean i can go on probably been one of my biggest passions for like the last few years so just wanted to throw it out there before i kill this i do want to give you a quick cross-section view to me the crust is a little bit too doughy on the bottom but it's as you can see like it's not too thick but it's a little bit too doughy you got the cheese and the sauce so i mean this isn't really that thick of a pizza i like the ratios uh for the most part on this it's they're not trying to like blow your mind and make a super tall pizza because that's not really what it is the cheese definitely saves it it's carrying the load feeling though real feeling i'll tell you what sometimes like you know me love pizza i can max it sometimes i get full off of two slices of lose it's it's happened before which is crazy very hearty very filling very tasty [Applause] you know i enjoyed that but i'm gonna have to find a way to get my hands on some lumonadis because i heard that they do frozen pizzas that taste really good like almost like the og stuff that you get at the at the restaurant i don't know if they ship overseas i've seen some links that that said that they would ship overseas i don't know if that's i don't know if i can trust them though you know i mean they're a little bit fishy the links and it costs like 100 or like i don't know 100 150 or something so i'm have to look into it but yeah that's it for this one you know i just was craving a good decent little chicago style pizza and i think i
