quad okay so 1500 budget no more it could have been less but no more than that all right any ATV it must run and drive no blown up no trans issues you know it's gotta run and drive okay I mean maybe trans issues it's missing second gear if you guys got a 660 Raptor wait is someone got a raptor no anyway uh no engine swaps it's important also you can only have one set of tires we may be going to the dunes if you want to run paddles you have to run them the whole time so and it must be purchased from a complete stranger there were some back door deals I heard back door just trying to squash that right I already have a front door dude so yeah we're going to be taking these things to the dunes we're going to be taking a mud we're gonna be maybe there's another surprise other stuff there's some surprise stuff that's going to be really cool so uh yeah got a list of challenges those will come later let's just reveal these things all right Dougie your first bud oh man all right so what do you got under this tarp dude what is it I am so excited quads are really interesting because there's just so much variation in what you can do and the list of challenges is varied widely as well so there's a lot of angles you can take um so I chose you know to go with something that I have experienced in the past experience a lot of quas but have some experience with so when these challenges you know throw us some issues they'll be able to overcome them and work through them okay um I'm very excited I'm excited I paid okay 760 dollars it was 750 dollars but I didn't hence how did you get it so cheap I know what you guys are gonna say when you see this you're gonna say ah it's too big it's too heavy it looks like it's been run into a tree all right oh it looks like it's been on fire because it's all melted but I'm gonna show you what I'll tell you what you mess with the bear and gets closed oh oh so this I believe is a 99 Grizzly 600. how do you believe that well I'm not I'm not positive on the year okay it's a 99 though dude this thing is sick it does run it does time are you sure things are things things are bad it you know yeah it caught on fire so who caught it on fire I didn't do that okay this owner caught it on fire and then said ah I don't want to mess with this anymore now I'm a little scared of it honestly that's a great deal this is a great quad so she needs some love and needs some stuff uh bolted down and uh you know some wires fixed and things like that but uh I think it's gonna work great it's a beast it's a 600 yeah it's four wheel drive the four-wheel drive does work okay so wow let me look all the way around on this sucker dude oh my gosh well lassaran in 2011. that was 12 years ago my man alone it's it's about yeah the exhaust you know has some issues uh aesthetically very bad but yeah I'd say mechanically oh yeah the starter clutch pretty bad as well but it works okay okay you're gonna want to go to your computer right now and start ordering maybe a whole new one Rocky Mountain please so yeah I guess I forgot to mention so this month on Rocky Mountain you guys remember we always do the monthly give back right any purchase dude let's hear this sucker honestly it sounds great dude it's a lot of quad dude it's uh yeah I sort of shot for the moon on this one you know it needs uh needs a lot of tune-up but I'm depending on being able to get it was something that's actually pretty dang good nice nice well you got roughly half of the budget left for repairs dude why was yours Wow money to spend feeling pretty good about it all right well I I guess we're on the Knicks you ready tarp tarp let me tell you got back from Florida what was it three days ago maybe yeah okay I'm talking I had so many feelers out I don't honestly remember what I bought but I can tell you these feelers here's the barrel here's the bottom of the barrel here's where we're at oh no but this one right here dude this is the one okay so you pay how much did you pay for I unfortunately paid 1 500 Americans no so you are maxed out on the budget dude oh it's pretty good though yeah this thing's gonna be tough you know there's things it does do there's things it doesn't do okay how about the list of it does do does do starts up okay drives how fast you're getting there some things may or may not be connected I may I mean I have uh you know a drive that pushes you back or a drive that goes fast you don't have high gear I wouldn't worry about it too much look at the stitching custom dude the tuning Forks custom there used to be a winch oh uh Cloud's gone what's up with all the chains on this thing I've never seen one of these in person and it's got so many chains one chain there two chains dude I mean on demand foreign how many chains does a man need okay okay okay last written in 19. so that's good to see it's an interesting place but dude we made it we're in it made in America dude Polaris for Life dude yeah so that's Max budget you good with the welder I think people realize fifteen hundred dollars is really hard to find a good person yeah it was a struggle how you got that for that I mean I sort of see it but it was on fire it had to be on fire I mean you have to start at freaking 2 000 bucks and then you know weasel your way into a deal dude these people do not like me it sounds like Doug started at the bottom and weaseld his way up oh man oh yeah let's hear it okay I think I heard this one pull in wow wow I mean that ain't bad dude yeah get it get it there you go get it it doesn't look too bad really it doesn't sound good either but it's because it's a 425 it's not a 450 so that it's that 25 CC's really throws you out anyway well hey congrats on that buy sorry not a budget though that that that's tough dude I actually don't need nothing dude maybe just a little Lube on the Chain I don't know okay all right well up next we got uh Matt X3 cover does that mean we have a BRP product uh maybe oh maybe but probably not so you know I came across the same stuff as uh these guys did I'm getting a little nervous now seeing this the first two machines revealed but uh you know I ended up getting uh well let's just say you know Budweiser is a self-proclaimed king of beers oh oh yeah Suzuki claims oh [Laughter] my gosh what is this thing this thing has slow range super slow range and the slowest range this is basically a 15 speed transmission I've never seen one of these what is this it's a unknown year Suzuki King Quad what yes I think that's yeah so what'd you get for this bad dog 1500 bucks oh my gosh this thing is horrible dude hey what are you gonna do this is a 300 Quad 10 years ago like some it's unbelievable like that in two days the options are limited to say the least why is the motor so far in the back look at how far you know it's a simple machine that's how I used to do it man back in 1972 look at all the dead space in there oh yeah okay also four-wheel drive it's got a front locking diff seriously it's everything it does have a locking see we've got independent rear suspension wait what was it really yeah are you serious oh yeah it's the king quad it's the king of quads this is like the TRX 700 before she came out dude I don't know how much more I got to tell you it's the king of quads look at it it's got It's got like X3 steering shafts for axles you see those things all right so what do we got in here a little tool kit still has a tool kit probably not from this machine maybe it is dude that looks pretty much wow I didn't even know that was in there okay all right here all kinds of sweet stuff there's random piece of fuel line we got pieces of metal oh wow I love this shifter she's gonna be wearing like a mini excavator before he takes off seriously yeah that's honestly the only reason I bought it because I love levers and it has all the levers look at that too it's a great speedometer well does it start yeah I mean let's uh hear this bad dog oh dude if there was a quick start challenge he would have got it he got it that thing is nuts she starts right up that's like an auto clutch unit oh yeah okay so it does have an auto clutch okay blowing belts out on the trail it's gonna be whizzing right by it wow wow oh hey you remember how that worked out last time last time you got something super specific yeah that was dude I got a race machine last time this is the complete opposite for this challenge I'm not I'm learning from my mistakes what is going on up there all that's broken used to be up oh yeah I used to be a rear brake but uh not anymore wow wow man 1500 doesn't get you much these days boys nope not at all wow well Steve it's your turn bud you ready oh you guys are not ready all right are you jacked or what I am super excited I've been losing my mind since Friday so I have like this really specific plan like the exact quad picked out I knew it was going to dominate I spent a long time looking couldn't find one well it's almost the exact opposite but I feel really excited about it okay okay yeah let's go dude it's not even four-wheel drive but I'm kind of in love with it this thing is sick what are we even looking at dude I think it's a 2001 Polaris Trail Boss oh 325 I think okay okay yeah wow looking for a two-stroke couldn't get one man these lights have become popular on all things cheap yeah oh heck yeah what's that mean four eight it's almost like a two-wheel drive utility quad which is maybe like the worst of Both Worlds wooly boogers no Carlisle Striker dang it oh Carlos up close man this uh looks pretty complete yeah well what about the brakes though Steve that doesn't look complete it unfortunately has zero brakes it runs great though so I don't know what'd you give for oh no oh oh no it's got the McPherson it's the classic Polaris uh standard front suspension is that two times four it's two wheel drive but it has four wheels it's got a concentric Drive concentric drive that's a funny way to say CBG they named it the trail boss so I don't think Polaris would lie about that that's a good point right you're right four stroke wow okay well yeah a lot of a lot of quads in this area for Polaris were two strokes yeah interesting well so here it runs let's hear it run yep oh no joke nothing wow okay that's maybe the best runner so far sounds smooth quiet yeah it is quiet yeah if there was a quick start Matt and Steve would be like one and one on top he's a little extra duct tape yep I see that and other than the brakes issue I think it's actually a pretty good shape yeah I think Rocky Mountain Lab was covered on brakes no problem no problem yeah oh man and yeah that's gonna be important oh what we got under here look at that size of that shot that shot dude oh oh tool kit oh you got toolkit a mechanical pencil on a pen it's a zebra no is there any left eye oh good fine oops something I just lost some change pretty cool that's awesome I can sell that stuff for ten dollars buy some grapes between Rocky Mountain and Mickey's I'm sure we'll figure something out but wow goodbye Steve this is awesome yeah that's a neat little so funny looking something I was gonna have buddies Drive places pay them outside of the budget and drive Place 1500 bucks to buy you can pay to drive anyways I don't know I don't know about that and uh ran into multiple of you guys that already said hey Doug or Steve bought this called on the grizzly couldn't get the grizzly [Laughter] get me back I'll give him that one so found one I think I did all right I went a different direction than everybody else I think a little bit but we'll see okay all right all right all right oh oh wait what oh this is nice dude didn't bother to wash it huh I mean I didn't realize the rules yet but so what are we looking at here Michael this is a 98 or a 99 sport 400 l two stroke two-wheel drive two-wheel drive two-wheel drive I'd find a four wheel on some guys were budging on it so we're gonna go with the two wheel drive we'll make it work nice with a two-stroke nice and it was close it's like 30 minutes even better I love the colors that is pure 90s right there Buzz look at that sucker so I had mentioned I Steve had called on this guy's a big fan and he says Steve messaged me on this machine oh this is out of Mount Pleasant yeah oh no the guy goes I feel really bad I didn't see till this morning I missed Steve's message and I went perfect I'm coming to get it Steve already had his bot for fairness oh my gosh so yeah this is uh this is the runner this we're going with okay it looks pretty tough so McPherson struts again stay on the air box is falling apart a little bit but we got rock and roll so yeah you're not wrong okay what else about this thing so these are straight axles in the back this is a two-wheel drive unit yep she's also got some custom shot because it's got another eyelet welded on top of an eyelet for the shock so we're doing all right we're not in the Florida lift kit am I looking at pretty interesting exhaust heat wrap up here not really doing anything like but it still works I have front brakes I don't have rears okay um but it does run and drive okay liquid liquid cool liquid cool it's funny because under here it says liquid cool but then they just made their own stickers it's actually just cool liquid cool liquid cool well oh dude the rent all bars yeah this is 90 staple 400 two-stroke too she's gonna be a big dog I paid oh no budget left so again it was super tough because I mean I know a lot of the stuff that I was looking at here guys was the same thing so it's you guys know the strong one yeah this thing kind of smells like a dog's been living on it you guys smell that it literally all these scratches you did live outside so okay she'll clean up she's gonna be a good girl when I'm done well will it run is the next question it did the last one started it blew the head pipe off okay everyone watch out [Applause] okay okay like you said CD is going to work when she runs all right wow all right we get the idea dude it literally looks like it's been sitting outside for since 1996. listen she's a gym a 400 two-stroke that's a big dog yeah real big dog people don't realize when these first came out they were actually really impressive a few little yeah yeah they make a lot of power with these things well interestante boys I guess uh I'm the last dude we're on I'm the last Mohican here Papa Leo one to go let's do it oh Leonardo you might say this is cheating cheating uh-huh I saw this coming from a mile away yeah challenge right so what did I do I bought one in February months ago really sorry about that okay okay but what that does mean is I got pick of the litter uh actually it means I bought the first one I could find because it's such a smoking deal okay there are some issues there are some issues yeah okay and we're okay with that but I did pay a thousand bucks for it okay so you're doing way better than us so far I'm doing real good compared to Mike's free micro junk too so in honor of becoming a true Polaris man I bought it like this what is that a little more a little more okay so this is a 400 two-stroke wow this is the four wheel drive four times four yeah yeah it's four times four front tires are on backwards uh yeah I got a pretty unique machine last time so I thought out of the box and needed one of these I knew with the mudding challenge with the drag challenge with any sort of climbing four-wheel drive is going to be important so I got this going fast is also important so a two-stroke boom got him two and one it's like the only two-stroke four-wheel drive that's a nuts deal super cool looking quad well it seems like it might be a nuts deal okay okay so when I went to pick it up last week the guy goes yeah you remember we talked about how it was just leaking coolant and I'm like yeah I remember that it was too late it was too late so it's leaking some coolant um somewhere I don't know where probably out of the engine I mean that tank looks like it's new and then also uh the belt exploded and took out the case so Rocky mom's gonna have to help me with that other than that I think it's a pretty decent one it's got the zip ties cut too at a perfect like uh 40 degree angle just to cut your fingers oh really get it as soon as you as soon as you put your hands yeah that's a good place for those what about rear brakes this is the first time trying them okay there's no similar issues we're doing well and the transmission's a little a little if oh nope I don't know what we'll get it we'll get it yeah but you got some nice LEDs here dude so when you get stranded in the woods this is I have no idea how to start it's cool man it's in reverse what's this guy is this a choke I think that's your light switch or is that just a make-believe lover that just lives there oh oh no is there a pull start on these yes oh yeah it should be right there but unfortunately oh that's another one so me and you are backwards I need a battery to make mine work you need a pull start it doesn't start dude minus 100 points boom got him can I get a jump box mat okay I do feel bad that I bought it early because I wasn't in a rush to find it but I also came across it before I was even thinking about buying one and I said this thing fits the bill perfectly so you know you got to keep that W for this challenge just like the last one dude real simple sorry guys I can't have an honest competition around here I don't know what they say every Strokes are only fast if they're not four-wheel drive so if they're not four times also the throttle cable is very sticky so I was worried about starting it in gear and it just totaling two JP so I don't think you're neutral Oh wrong button [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] takes to turn off oh is that a chainsaw is there even oil in there dude there's definitely oh there's cooling coming out of even more makes you feel any better he's actively dripping okay and I think if there was a loosest chain competition I would win that man Mike's was pretty loose I don't know look at this sucker wow oh no yup you won you won you got you got to say mine was pretty loose and didn't skip going on that's pretty bad and that feels decent this is a this is a gem if you can get her fixed up oh yeah bypass on these suckers dude this is the Scrambler I know how Mike Reed was falsely saying the Scrambler didn't exist yet but that's just for people that couldn't afford a Scrambler just like Mike Reed oh Oh leaving the Leo just all the harshness ah wow yeah so who knows I think this is a good performer but it needs to be a good runner too and that's yourselves on this one dude I thought the sleds were garbage I like the variation yeah that we've got okay going into this and uh I like that nobody bought like an obvious solution you get a Marketplace you're looking for a 1500 quad you got the blasters of Warriors that kind of stuff popping up but everybody fought a little bit out of the box and tried to really consider you know the challenges and find something that's going to work yeah how did nobody get a blaster man they're faster but the king quad is just calling them the levers man delivers I'm curious on that I went to Flint I went 30 minutes that Grizzly was literally across the road from our old chap [Laughter] mine is only 15 minutes away wow yeah I went to Freeland how far did you go minutes away this is where she lived dude she's acclimated to the weather here what else is funny too is like you guys were talking about it's like basically like there was multiple quads where I uh or you know I'd ask I'm like would you take 1500 two people already asked me that it turns out just praying that somebody was in a cave yeah it didn't work out cheap pod cheap quad cheap quad challenge it's gonna be awesome got a list of challenges that are going to be very fun I think first we all probably need a little bit of time with these I'll need a little bit of Maintenance I'll need a little bit of love a little bit repairs a little bit of cooling to at least give him an honest shot at making it through these challenges so we'll take a little time we'll do that but then we'll get into this quickly like
