Chase Southwest Priority, World of Hyatt, Sapphire Preferred. The Winning Trio?

lately about the american express credit cards and how amazing they are and they still are amazing i stand by my word um they have amazing sign up bonuses i still see often 100k for the platinum and 70k for the gold at least on my end and i already have the credit card so i think it's very easy to find those offers but really there's many people that don't want to spend the money for the annual fees and they don't have a good use case scenario maybe they have one trip that they want to go or two trips that they want to go but they're not frequent flyers and in that case it doesn't make sense uh for many people to get all those expensive credit cards and maintain them long term for the first year it's always a good idea to get them both the platinum and the gold are amazing long term too but if you're not traveler and you don't have a good use case scenario for what they offer and the benefits they offer then of course i mean you can get them the first year get the amazing sign up bonus and get rid of them if you want to have a setup that you can keep long term then i think it's hard to go wrong with chase especially the co-branded credit cards are always an amazing offer i find and i have a great experience with them now keep in mind that the setup you're going to see is based on my use case scenario my experience and i have a great amount of experience with these companies and these credit cards so without any further ado let's go to the presentation and take it from there i think this trio is the winning trio because it offers value and a lot of options so the credit cards that we are examining today uh is the chase uh world of hyatt the chase southwest priority and chase sapphire preferred and i will explain the reasons right now first wherever you go you need a hotel and hyatt is big enough to have multiple locations but also it offers an amazing value for money the kind of hotel you're getting on a category one hyatt like a hyatt place is really something that uh i find in my experience that hilton or marriott are struggling to to match they're consistent they offer breakfast and overall the whole experience is amazing every time i've been to a hyatt place for example it's been amazing lately i went to the andas in um in costa rica uh which is basically like a five-star resort and it was excellent uh honestly i had the best time and i would highly suggest that uh you visit hyatt hotels if you haven't the hyatt credit card offers amazing multipliers when it comes in usage in the hyatt uh hotels it has 9x now other credit cards may seem that they have more uh or better multipliers but hyatt points are excellent like one point is two cents uh value so this uh 9x is like 18 back 18 back for everything you spend amazing value guys um it offers one night free every anniversary year so every time you keep your credit card you're going to get an anniversary night up to category 4 which is 15 000 points which based on the evaluation is about 300 so up to 300 that helps to pay the annual fee and a whole lot more uh the sign up bonus is not great right now 30 000 points for 3 000 span i i spent 6 000 for uh 60 000 um it's not it's not available anymore not at this point at least it does offer up to 60. it tells you uh in the descriptions that uh they will give you twice the amount of points for uh every dollar you spend so instead of one you get two but honestly i don't think it's worth it uh there's much better ways to spend that money and make a bigger profit than spending it on this credit card so thirty thousand i'll be happy with it it's exactly 50 of what i spent on my credit card and 50 on the points i got so it's a fair deal at the end of the day the uh the roi is identical with what i got when i got my credit card once you hit the minimum spend and you spend about three thousand three thousand dollars and i have the three thousand dollars because that's what the minimum is the minimum spend on based on a 2x i consider if you get this credit card obviously you don't want to be spending on it on the hyatt all day you're not going to do that you're going to spend it on average things like restaurants and travel regular travel the extended travel category that chase has and that will give you 2x the two eggs will give you 6 000 points so 36 000 points total which is guys seven days in a category one hyatt you can go to a hyatt place for seven days a full week that's that's incredible it's incredible it looks like it's not a lot of points but with hyatt it's crazy then you need to get there somehow and unless you're planning to have a long road trip you're probably going to get a plane if you get a plane one of the best companies i find that are out there and are budget friendly is southwest southwest is by far my favorite the only reason why i got the american airlines if you remember was because southwest wasn't flying in costa rica during the pandemic they just resumed their flights and i'm planning to use them next time uh but yeah they offer like two suitcases for free incredible like you pay uh 30 to 100 in every other company to get one suitcase and you get with southwest 2 for free i mean incredible and then this credit card specifically pays for itself every year this is why the annual fee credit cards are my favorite because they always cover their their cost if you're traveling it's so easy to cover their cost and uh have some money in the pocket in the end so they offer seven and a half thousand points every year plus 75 dollars every year so that's easily about 180 dollars of value which covers easily the 149 dollar annual fee plus you're getting four priority boardings and with priority boardings with southwest that's very important because you get in the plane based on the number on your ticket and that might mean that in a full flight you might not get enough overhead space for your carry-on you might not get the seat that you wanted but this basically guarantees if it's available that you're going to get in the first 15 people and that gives you plenty of room to do whatever you want i've used it on my flights to costa rica in the past and i loved it every time i hear it's going to be a full flight i'm going directly to the desk and i'm asking for a priority pass it's about dollar value they charge me every time fifty dollars for it and i get back the money in a couple of days so yeah four times that means 200 value incredible incredible incredible um the sign up bonus is only 40 000 but for a thousand dollars uh like thousand dollars spent in three months 40 000 points unbelievable value at five cents per point this is six hundred dollars even if you take out the uh annual fee you're left with 450 450 there's no other credit card that will let you spend only a thousand dollars and you will give you this kind of value 63 percent 64 almost uh the roi for travel guys incredible incredible uh almost 50 after paying the annual fee guys all these credit cards i'm showing here are a no-brainer you should really jump on them of course if you don't like southwest that's a different story if you don't like hyatt for some reason i don't know why he wouldn't like hi but yeah anyway as we see here um even though these credit cards are incredible right now they don't have the best signup bonuses and to make up for it we bring the chase sapphire preferred to the game the card itself is dated i stand by whatever i said in the previous videos i'm sorry some of you are very big fans of it i know it has great insurances and all these kind of things but yeah boring like i'm falling asleep just talking about it but sign a bonus 80 000 points plus 50 dollars for groceries it doesn't get better than that and and the spending is only four thousand like they didn't even change the spending four thousand so cash value we're looking at eight hundred and fifty dollars eight hundred and fifty dollars on a 95 dollar annual fee credit card you can pay this credit card for nine years nine years like but even better is that you can transfer these points to either southwest or hyatt and in that case you can get that 1.5 evaluation for the southwest case or two points for uh the hyatt so these eighty thousand points eight hundred dollars is like sixteen hundred dollars if you transfer to hyatt so you can stay beyond us like between these two credit cards a full week at the anders five star resort full week full week seven days you're gonna love it or you can spend a month it's almost a month guys we're looking almost 30 days if you add the points you're getting from the spending uh plus the bonuses between the hyde credit card and the sapphire preferred you can stay a month in a category one hotel like a good place a month a month good luck finding another credit card system that offers you this incredible incredible but as incredible as this is the sapphire preferred is dated dated dated so it really doesn't worth it to keep it for the next year so what do you do you downgrade it you downgrade it and you get the chase freedom flex the flex credit card is gonna give you 5x on rotating categories you're gonna get a ton of value with three thousand dollars on five x categories you can get fifteen thousand this is a point maker credit card now you won't be able to transfer these points to the other credit cards but i believe that if you keep the sapphire preferred you won't ever make good enough points to be able to transfer to the other credit cards so my system would be to downgrade to this credit card for a year collect all the points i want and wherever i feel like i'm ready i upgrade to a chase up i preferred again you can easily go up and down with a chase system and then transfer your points you're going to pay 95 to be able to do that but if at the end of the year you have points because of this credit card then it makes sense the chase sapphire preferred only offers uh that one or two x categories you'll never make it to those points so it doesn't make sense so you downgrade you keep the flex you charge everything on it well the 5x categories save up a lot of points and then transfer them to the other credit cards uh now we see here that the other credit cards the southwest priority we it still gives a lot of value even after the annual fee is out of the equation because it offers that 75 it offers that seven and a half thousand points so immediately it's about 180 value uh then we're looking at 200 on priority boarding it's incredibly uh useful guys if you have never traveled with southwest like you cannot travel with southwest in a better way uh the world of hyatt offers the uh anniversary night to uh up to a category uh four and that's guys fifteen thousand points uh value which is about 300 300 is almost over three times what you pay as annual fee here well plus that 9x on highgate properties is still there uh amazing credit cards guys with this system look at this the second year you can still get all this value we're looking incredible value here for what for less than 250 dollars it's less than what a gold is an american express gold for the average user that just want to make a trip or two this is the best setup the cheapest setup by far and i guarantee you you're gonna have an amazing amazing experience
