[Music] nature doesn't give a [ __ ] man and i give a [ __ ] so when i see something happening something something else killing something else i don't like it but you know the real intelligent people say well that's the way it is you see this is killing that and this is feeding that and there is the grasshopper there's this this feeds upon that it's all arranged except so when something jumps upon them they scream don't they you see they don't get themselves in with the spider and the fly i got myself in i'm the fly that's the spider you see they don't get themselves into they're indifferent to what's happening oh that's interesting look but you see they too are involved but the only thing is that there's a human going to kill them but they don't know it they're arranging it but they don't know they're dumb they're done almost all people are dumb ever see people go into a restaurant to order food they don't even want to eat food they come in because it's time to eat they're not even hungry the more i think of humanity the less i want to think of them [Applause] do i know you don't push me around baby i'll take never mind one more beer i'll take you all alien god all you guys belching and puking you guys are drunker than i am what the hell jesus [Applause] in a pair of tips oh come on you read it and that's all you got you didn't even get the parts where i i cried in bed because tears came to my face because i i invited two women to have thanksgiving with me and i didn't know which one to go to i mean no there are many moments in there where i look like a complete [ __ ] and i felt like one no no i was just i just wasn't jumping into bed and [ __ ] and jumping out of bed i'm sorry it would be nice for me to say that and pretend i'm the tough guy but i'm not that tough but uh in your stories love is always a synonym for sexual intercourse where do you it's not too romantic where do you get this crap baby love is a dog from hell that's all it has its own agonies it brings its own agonies with it but i mean i don't know where you get your concepts from man you're really [ __ ] up there is a loneliness in this world so great that you can see it in a slow movement at the hands of a clock people so tired mutilated either by love or no love people are just not good to each other one on one the rich are not good to the rich the poor are not good to the poor we are afraid our educational system tells us that we can all be big ass winners it hasn't told us about the gutters or the suicides or the terror of one person aching in one place alone untouched unspoken to watering a plant people are not good to each other say the thing the thing that he died from alcohol you're not afraid of are you thinking of faulkner no he was one of the worst practitioners uh of course but now i'm talking about lowry he dies from alcohol oh yeah well it's nice to die of alcoholism it's very glorious but if you ride dull [ __ ] it doesn't do any good what you die from you see alcohol is not a great thing because you die from alcohol doesn't mean you're any good you got to leave some words behind he died swallowing his own vomit great now he's not even a professional drunk when i really have a big drunk i put my head on the side of the mattress and let it like this so if i vomit it's just gonna go to the floor this man's not even a [ __ ] professional drunk besides that it's a bad dull writing next question for christ's sake do you have another question drink some more scotch it'll cheer you up enjoy yourself man forget there's an interview for i like [Music] your stupid be an alcoholic if you gotta be anything be an alcoholic what what can you dream alcoholism well or drunkenness if i hadn't been a drunkard i probably would have committed suicide long ago you know working the factories the eight-hour job the slums the streets okay you work a goddamn lousy job you know you come home at night you're tired what are you gonna do go to a movie turn on your radio in a three dollar a week room or you're gonna rest up and wait for the job the next day for 75 cents an hour hell no you're gonna get a bottle of whiskey and drink it and go down to a bar maybe get the fist fight and meet some [ __ ] something's going on then you go to work the next day and do your simple little things right [Music] you
