Charles Barkley says politicians 'look to divide and conquer'

move on leo i want to give you some more points here i find this i find charles barkley one of the most authentic interesting insightful people in the united states of america sports commentary or not and yesterday during the ncaa tournament he said this he said i think most white people and black people are great people i really believe that in my heart but i think our system is set up where politicians whether or not they're republicans or democrats are designed to make us not like each other so they can keep their grasp of money and power they divide and conquer your thoughts leo oh 100 correct look you know as a civil rights attorney i want to be upfront and honest i think the democrats play the race card this divide this racial divide where the democrats throw everything make it a race issue i don't think the republican play that game i was a former democrat will and i'm telling you right now i'm sick and tired of the race card and that is the biggest dividing point in this country a race car play and i think it's being played by the democrats guy what'd you think about what charles barkley had to say well two things first on what leo said on aoc i think it's not mutually exclusive she can be both very effective at moving her party leftward and also a liability for her party nationally speaking on that point on charles barkley i just i can't get enough of the guy i'm not a big nba fan i never have been so i don't watch him too much in that coverage but when they bring him over for the ncaa tournament i'm like what a treasure this man is and he has the standing to come out and say something like that and i hope that there are people listening to him who don't just nod along privately in their living room and say okay i think he's probably right i hope that we collectively sort of act on that and do something about it and push back against some of the cynicism that he talked about and leo just talked about absolutely so the three of you are on the big sunday show carly it's tonight at five we can expect more of what we just heard from you right here yeah that and a whole lot more we're going to continue to follow the outrage in georgia we were just talking about new york lawmakers senator chuck schumer wants the all-star game to be in new york so we're going to break down those bill the the voting laws in each state and we're going to talk about which which state really has more restrictive voting laws i think we all know the answer plus the hilariously titled infrastructure bill uh what's really in that package and of course it's easter sunday we're so we're also gonna have a whole lot of easter fun all right leo guy carly will be watching tonight thank you for jumping on with me this morning thanks will
