I used to love these video essays, but the aesthetic, especially the monotoned voice over, is so overused at this point that... if I'm being totally honest... turns me away. It just feels like everyone ripped off Every Frame A Painting and there's no originality in these video essays. Which is a shame, because some of them bring up really insightful reflections. Like what this guy did with the Arnold van Gennep bit.
Wow, this guy needs more visibility, only 530 views for all his crash course. Great content !
I love the plot twist in the end! Too many of these models try to solve all cases, so this "zoom out" really made the video stand out for me. Thumbs up!
