Changing Windows PE local account password and activating the Dimier Strayter account In the Windows PE environment, we'll proceed to change the Windows local account password and activate the Dimier Strayter account By following the video, you can download three files: the Windows CP file, Rufus, and the NTP edit file You can download the Windows 10p file from the Tiles site Download the Rufus from its site Download the standard version from the Rufus site Download it. Next, download from the NTP edit site Download the files. After downloading the three files, extract them To create a PE USB, select a USB drive of 16GB or more Connect the USB and format it in Disk Management, select NTFS, and proceed with Quick Format After 100% completion, the PE USB will be created Once completed, copy the two NTP edit files into the USB Unzip it. Connect the USB to the problematic PC and boot from USB using the appropriate boot shortcut key Connect the USB and format it in Disk Management, select NTFS, and proceed with Quick Format Run Rufus, select No, press Select, and select the downloaded Windows 10p ISO file Select and download the Windows CP ISO file Select the partition configuration as GPT and file system as NTFS Press Start and confirm When it reaches 100% completion, the PE USB will be created Once completed, copy the two NTP edit files into the USB Paste the files into the USB. Connect the USB to the problematic PC and boot from USB Press the boot shortcut key of the respective manufacturer to boot from USB Boot from USB When prompted for the boot shortcut key during booting, press it to select USB Select USB Boot from USB. Once booted, check the USB drive If password is lost, run the NTP edit file for resetting and reconfiguration Open it Press Change Password. Select the account for password change and change password Enter the new password, confirm, and press OK To activate the Dimier Strayter account, select the account, press Unlock Press Change Password. Change the password, confirm, and press OK Press Save Changes. Once saved, all settings are completed Restart the PC.
